    I'm always suspicious of information from people who have been given free trail cams to review, but you were very thorough in your review, so I think I can trust what you say. This was probably the best review I've seen from anyone, and it was filled with good information for amateurs like me. I was especially happy that you showed the BACK of the camera, something very few people do. The reason is, I like to use bungee cords to secure my cameras on trees and that doesn't work if those loops in the back are any place but the top. They also have to actually be loops and not canals running across the top. Yes, I know they are intended for security cables, but so far I haven't used those. Anyway, thank for a great video.

      Thank you so very much for your kind comment! I really enjoy doing reviews on trail cameras because it gives me the opportunity to learn about new technology and options that are available in some of the newer model cameras. I’m also very interested in how the cameras attach to the trees….because I use paracord and tiny bungee cords on the cameras I install on small trees. The straps they normally send just don’t hold very well on smaller diameter trees for me…. so the bungee cords and paracord are a necessity in those situations.
      I just completed a review on a trail camera offered by Oculview on Amazon, I just haven’t finished editing the footage yet. That Oculview Trail Camera is the best one I’ve ever reviewed to date…. it’s a cellular trail camera that has two different cameras and the lower lense actually rotates and pan/tilts via the app. I’ve had a blast testing it because you can watch the wildlife in realtime. If the animals you’re watching happen to walk out of view, you simply turn the camera and you can follow them as they are leaving. I’ve never used a trail camera that could do that, so I was like a young kid on Christmas morning playing with it!
      Anyhow, if you’re interested in different types of trail cameras like I am…you might be interested in checking that camera out. I don’t know if you will be able to open a link in the comments or not, but I’ll put it below for you to see. Just as a side note, No I don’t make any money whatsoever from people clicking on the links I share in video descriptions or when they purchase those items. I enjoy doing reviews and helping others to find good deals on trail cameras and other gear. I just don’t want you to think that I’m trying to “sell” you anything…
      Have an amazing weekend and thank you again for taking the time to leave a kind comment! God bless you and your family always!

      @@StandingGoatsRescue Looking forward to your review of the Oculview, although that is quite pricey for my budget :-) I'll be interested in seeing how good the distance is in its night vision. Some cams offer great night videos for a very small area but if anything is just a foot outside that area, it's lost in shadow.

      @@StandingGoatsRescue Just so you know, I went to Harbor Freight just now to get a pack of those Thunderbolt batteries, but when I got there, I discovered that a different Thunderbolt battery was on sale until June 6 for $4.99/24, regularly $6.99. Man, even if they only last half as long as Energizers, I will be ahead.

      I haven’t been to our Harbor Freight store in a few weeks now, but I plan on going this week to see if the AA batteries are on sale again. I have really grown fond of their batteries, the price is unbeatable for the quality of the battery. I go through quite a pile of batteries each year in the trail cameras…so I don’t think you can go wrong by stocking up on them, especially when they are on sale.
      Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for the heads up on the batteries, they should be on sale here too.
      ❤👍🙏

    When, I looked at the still pictures at 30:37,31:59,32:51 and I noticed a big ball of light. Does anybody know what that could be?

      I didn’t notice the light balls until you pointed them out, I don’t have a clue as to what they are…..possibly a bug of some type???
      God bless you my sister!!

    Where can I buy a better strap and what kind is recommended

    • @StandingGoatsRescue
      @StandingGoatsRescue  8 месяцев назад

      I replaced the strap on mine with a strap I removed from an old camera that doesn’t work anymore. My brother told me that I can get some really good straps from the Army/Navy Surplus Store, but I haven’t checked on it yet….the nearest Army/Navy Surplus Store is an hour away from me, so I won’t be going anytime soon. Sorry I couldn’t offer much help, I hope you find somewhere to get one.
      God Bless you my friend!

    Will snow and rain be triggers for this camera ?

    • @StandingGoatsRescue
      @StandingGoatsRescue  8 месяцев назад

      No the rain will not cause a false trigger with this trail camera. I really don’t know if snow will cause it to trigger, I live in Florida and we never get any snow. This little camera has been simply amazing down here in the high heat and humidity, it’s also worked perfectly when the temperature has dropped down in the low 30’s. Hopefully someone else can chime in on how it works in the snow, because I’m curious about that too now that you brought it up….definitely a good question to find an answer for!
      Have a beautiful weekend my friend, may God bless you and your family with abundance!!
