I was born August of 1995 in Ohio. I now live in North Carolina. I am a mechanical engineering for a tire company and I have been a professional open-format club / mobile DJ since 2012. I created this RUclips channel for the purpose of sharing my experiences and knowledge as I tinker and mod my 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I like them head lights wanted to do the same thing to mine and have someone do it but no one around here does that anymore
I agree with the dealer warranties being a complete scam. I fell for this, and over time I realized that it was a joke. Often I would get charged for random things even if it was under "warranty". I said screw it and cancelled it and got my money back. If anyone paid for this joke service, you are 100% entitled to get your money back, of course the amount you get back depends on how much of this "warranty" you have used. I have since been taking care of and maintaining my truck myself. Its easy people, read your trucks manual. It will teach you how to take care of your truck. Its pretty straight forward.

Yeah I got the Meso Customs chrome delete for the AC vent rings and the steering wheel emblem, love the matt black look it gave my interior.

Nice build! I am too cheap to go all out like that lol. I am getting one soon. Only plans are to plasti dip the emblems and wheels black, and upgrade the tires to 265/75-16 ko2's which should give a half inch lift and look meaner.

Hey there! I’m from California! I just got my 2021 tacoma in cement. I see sooooo many here it’s crazy to think it’s rare in other places. If you’re not too far the area of SD and LA area there is a lot you do have to just drive a little more deep into these areas.(: problem is, if you want a 4x4 it is a bit more difficult!

Might you or anyone here happen to suspect that the overall Ride Comfort & Road/Cabin noise between the Tacoma TRD Off-Road & Limited are in reality fairly close... as I feel somewhat Stuck in making a decision between these 2 ... As I prefer the TRD Off-Road Lean profile a little better with No Air Dam, etc... but like the Limited Pkg ??
Beautiful Truck! I had one same color which I gave to my nephew for his 16th bday and I got a new ranger but I don't have anything bad to say about it , I like Toyota always have always will but I like my lil ranger as well. Also about the Chrome.........I too HATE chrome, and as you know they gotta stick a little here and there even though you bought one without Chrome bumpers and mirrors .......maybe one day they will figure it out who knows.
Think would like great with a bull brush guard make it more agressive

Metal rear bumper i saw one that has bsm and parking sensors that looks pretty sick! Want to start modding my 2021 tacoma trd offroad soon mine is all so cement grey but i have the 6ft bed

Tint the windows next I tinted my tacoma with a brow on the windshield and it looks great
Cost me about $170 to match the front to the back and the brow

Why no keep the bilstein shocks on and just run a spacer kit? Bilsteins are better than the rough country shocks no?
The rear has to be replaced due to travel. But the fronts you can run a spacer only but your going to be putting more force on the front struts then they are designed for. Which is why I replaced with rough country. The rough country struts are bigger and ment for higher forces than the stock bilsteins

Did you have to change the driver's side needle bearing after the lift? I've read multiple stories where the bearing strips out after a lift and causes a front-end vibration.
No and had no issues since lifting. 50k + miles on it now

Yep its still stock gearing. But it doesn't bother me just yet. And it cost a lot to do so

Would cutting the muffler and putting an aftermarket affect reliability or make the engine run rich ?
I put a carven exhaust but i dont want it to affect anything in the future.
No your engine is always measuring and adjusting based on the readings from the sensors.

Driver side lean?
I have a 2017 TRD Off road. Was looking at some lifts and came across articles talking about the Driver Side lean. Measured mine and it is 1 inch lower on the driver side. Does not sound as though you had this issue.

Nice truck. Hoping to get the 2021 off road this week. How’s your MPG on it? Also I noticed the back bumper on the 2021 is chrome. Did you mod yours or did it come in the cement color?
Mine is color matched. I have a video on this channel doing mpg testing with the lift kit.

Lifts/mods do not void factory warranty unless they are the direct cause of the issue.
Depends. A lot of those purchased warranties they will claim anything practically caused the failer. Seen a bunch of people get screwed over
Lifting over 6" or adding a supercharger are the only two things that ruin my factory warranty.
Do you intend to upgrade the sound system?
The premium sound system you can get stock is actually really good
The JBL premium on my model is excellent.
