You can flip up your rear view mirror. I have 20 percent tints in the rear of my ILX. F150 lights are the worst but the glare is instantly remedied by flipping the mirror up. And I can still see traffic

What! You bought a Tacoma over a Ford Ranger! So did I. Ford screwed me over many times. I never considered anything but a Tacoma TuRD Sport. My next truck, to compliment my Taco, will be a Tundra TRD Sport. I've had nothing but problems with my '09 F-150 King Ranch since day one when I bought it new. I would have traded it years ago for a Tundra if it wasn't bought and paid for. None of my problems were covered under warranty. Ford considered everything "normal wear and tear." Good thing I can service and repair every I own or I would be broke from fixing the Ford.
Ordered my TRD Off Road manual trans a few weeks ago. 4-6 months! Great video. I think all your mods are sick. I installed a red LED for one of my map lights and white for the other. It provides the perfect amount of stealth light when needed and when you need more you can use the other side with the white. Plus it'll match with your red interior highlights.

I just bought my first Gen 3 V6 Toyota Tacoma. I got into the base 4 door trim package. My only must have was locking diff’s as I’m living in the deep great white North! So the winters are crazy here. Thus, a 4x4 is very applicable. I have up-graded my trucks suspension with a 4 inch lift. Changed the wheels and tires to the TRD pro wheels. As stated I have the base trim package so I’ve added the LED plug and play bed lights. I’ve installed red interior LED’s as it helps your eyes adjust better at night. I can say this had been the only vehicle I’ve owned where people have just stopped and gave me compliments on my truck. Great vid and can’t wait to see your new pro addition!
We ordered a 2023 TRD Sport. Rides better than Off Road (according to spousal unit). The Sport is expensive enough. The Pro is even more so. I’ll be fine with the Sport.
Bought a 6inch lift, got wheels coming in, gonna get it tuned and see how it goes without the regearing. Interior lights are a must, and HID’s as well. I have rigid fog lights so I’m not worried about needing different ones.
If you plan on lifting your next truck then don't get the pro, get the off-road instead and just get the upgraded technology package and leather seats.
And get the LED light package upgrade. The headlights will not blind people because of the design of the reflectors in the headlight. Just switching a halogen light bulb with an LED bulb truly does blind people in oncoming vehicles.
Please get the raptor lights off the inj fuse. That runs your fuel injectors and if something happens with the lights you lose the injectors and the truck won’t run.

Currently doing tires with harbor Freight manual changer. Thinking 285's a bit heavy to lift. Also bought a roof rack for one as well about ready to install ps: Replaced shift knob with a black and aluminum one; Since original was falling apart or un-threading RR

I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, love the truck and enjoy these types of videos. Personally think all trucks are WAY overpriced and not worth the cost, I buy gently used and keep them forever, drove my 1999 Toyota Tacoma for 16 years and put 454,000 miles on it. Thank you for the mod ideas!
I had to get a new ride so I got a 2019 tacoma SR5 4x4 with 40k miles on it and I got it for 33k which isn't as bad as some stories I've heard but I still feel like I payed at least 5k more than it should be
It's your truck young lady. Do what you what you want too. Around my area they want to look down on you if it's not a V6 and 4wd, I just smile and think about how much $$ I'm saving lol Nice Tacoma 😇🙏👍
I agree, removing the air dam doesn't affect the gas mileage at all. The only time I noticed a significant differences on my mpg is if I'm going downhill on my Tacoma.
Great videos on your Taco Lianna. Two things in common is that I also have a 2019 Tacoma Sport (Barcelona Red) and I am also in Minnesota. Many things you have done, I have done the same. I to love the TRD Pro trim, but I didn’t want to pay the dealer for the mods I wanted to do to make mine just like the pros. I removed the air dam, put on a TRD pro skid plate, replaced the cheese grader grill with a Pro grill and chrome deleted. I have lifted mine with a 2.5 inch lift kit and added mud terrain tires. The thing I like most with the Sport package is the hood scoop. I think you’d be happy doing the extra mods to get yours to Pro standards. It makes you feel like you have a more personalized truck. Thank you for posting all your mods. Some of the interior mods you made are things I wanted to do. So your info is much appreciated! Keep up the great videos! I’m a new subscriber.
Try hooking up an AuxBeam under your hood! It deletes all relays and toggle switches that you would potentially have in your truck. It makes hooking up new lights/etc a snap and so easy and 100% less mess under the hood as far as wiring goes!!! The AuxBeam unit only takes the Red&black wires from all your stuff and it does the rest!!! It has its own breaker that subs all your relays. Long story short…it’s totally worth it to ensure clean wire-up under the hood. Just installed hood lights today and everything was just so easy!!!

I just purchase 2023 Tacoma Off Rd X series or XP series. Being where you live 4 wheel drive might be the way to go. Next time you buy check out there X series line, my came with just about everything. I did have add interior led lighting. Great video and great looking truck.
Get the Pro, I am all about it. Wish I could find a Pro when I got line but to get the luxury stuff I had to go limited. Guess I am always do the shocks, skid plate, wheels etc.
I have also done many of the same mods to my 2019 TRD Off Road Tacoma in Midnight Black. Exterior Chrome Delete, Meso Customs Ultimate black tinted turn signal interior LED lighting, TRD Pro Grill with Smoked Amber Grill lights, Black Smoked Headlights and tail lights, LASFIT Switchback White/Yellow LED Fog lights, AVS Window rain guards, Tinted the front windows at Tint My Ride in Rosemount MN which turned out fantastic, and I put 265/75/16 BFG KO2's on it and recently got some Fuel BLITZ Black gloss with milled accents wheels for it. I am also obsessed with moding my Tacoma lol.
I paid $5.69 a gallon for gasoline at COSTCO in Californistan today. So you need to include some FJB Edition Placards for your truck. Because that jerk is killing the honest man.
I’m having mud flaps installed on my 23 TRD Off Road double cab 6’ bed. We get 5-7 feet of snow every winter and I want to protect the paint and not throw anything into the vehicle behind me

some items weren't mentioned as to where you found them. I'm looking for the exterior fron door "Tecoma" lettering overlay in black... and the steering wheel logo overlay. I didn't find on Tacoma Lifestyle... also I have a 2023 Sport 2WD, not completely happy with the grille, there is a downward/front facing camera.. what happens if I replace that, will it mess with cruise or park assist? Did you research this or have an issue when you replaced yours with a TRD pro grille? Thanks.
While I liked the video, the comment about people being bothered by bright headlights was a bad take lol. I drive a camry, so it is rather low to the ground. Unless I look out the passenger window, some cars completely just wipe out my vision on the road at night. I understand that you shouldn't look directly in the lights lol but I don't think most people are looking right at the headlights, but drivers do have to look at least in the general direction of the road :/
I like the mods. In my opinion, why bother with the TRD PRO you're already almost there. A small lift, some rims, and the shocks (which you may not even want or need).
i just got the pro, main reason, value if you ever were to come to resell, all the "upgrades" are warrantied, and looking at the market, Pros were only 4k more.(fully loaded off-raod)

@@abdulsaghir3989 that can be likely due to inflation now or the dealerships. Some dealers near me in the chicagoland had markups and some didnt. Greedy dealerships will tack on a big markup on Pros due to people willing to pay it
Love this video. Your sequential turn signal install, as well as the raptor lights, were super helpful. I liked how you showed how to run the add-a-fuse through the fuse box. Yours was the only video I found that showed the clip that had to be released to create space for the wire. Anyway, thanks so much. I have successfully installed the raptor lights and sequential turn signals - mine are also Tacoma Lifestyle, blacked out. BTW, I totally agree with your decision to remove the air dam. I plan on doing the same! I look forward to more great content!
The thing about doing any modifications it doesn't matter what anyone thinks besides you, people just suck. I think you did a great job with the truck little by little.
1 "must do" mod I feel is molle panel bed inserts. The Rough Country ones are excellent quality and cheapest on the market. Also, just fyi there are plenty of other sellers selling the grilles for much cheaper. That's OEM price pretty much. Great mods though and I have done several of them myself.
Nice truck. I have the 20 TRD sport premium manual transmission, awesome truck but like you I always have the pro in the back of my mind haha..don't know if it's worth it yet though haha. But has to be a manual 🤷♂️
Don't get the Pro ( I know Pro people gonna hate). Get the Off-Road. It's the same truck! Minus Fox shocks, and rims and Leather-Trim. You can put the TRD lift (still Bilstein, but nothing wrong with them either), and buy Rims and still come in way less than the 10K more you pay for the Pro. Just my .02
Thank you for your mod list! I’ve been wanting to do almost every one of your upgrades. I LOVE the grill…my only concern is that I have the 2019 TRD Sport 4x2, not 4x4. I’ll have to check to see if it will work in mine. I was looking at the exact same grill. My biggest issue with mine is the lack of storage. So I asked for the UnderCover Swing Case storage box for my birthday. Went to install, does not work for the 2019-2021 model year. At least not on the drivers side. Huge let down. But hopefully this will help caution others not to make the same mistake. Anyway, thank you for sharing your list. I’ll have to look into more of your changes.
I have those same fog light housings and love them. I’ve only had them for a couple of months, so can’t speak to longevity, but they’ve been great to this point.
Enjoy the video just like to say it’s your truck and you can do whatever amount you want to it it’s what you like that matters. I really like some of the mods you’ve done I love the fact that you have tinted your windows however I live in Alberta Canada so I fully understand all the winter references. I’m really jealous you were able to tint all your windows. I have a 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD pro my rear window and back passenger windows are tinted however The driver and front passenger window and windshield are not it is against the law here to have them tinted because the police have to be able to see into the vehicle as they approach it if the windows are tinted they can’t see if someone is pointing a weapon at them or not so I’m completely jealous that you’re able to have tinted windows. I would love to know what your low profile sunshade stick to it looks like the fasten in the window jam I was going to go with these but was advised not to as if they share the same space as the window after repair the time it can affect the electrical motors that control your windows. So I went with the ones that stick to the outer door jam it’s not as low profile but it serves its function. I will say if you are planning to upgrade your truck you’re right not to invest too much money into it save everything you can for when you get your new truck so you can do all the modification your heart desires. I love the different approach between men and women. As a woman you’ve upgraded your truck to make it look very pretty. As a man I’m trying to turn my truck into a tank everything I do was to make it tougher than before I guess it’s just the differences between men and women LOL. Don’t get me wrong I have done some things to make my truck nice and pretty but most of what I’ve done is pretty practical with the exception of giving my truck a name I guess.

I got mine on a 6 in lift with 33s and having it for 2 years the air damn on the front lip is unnecessary on the tacomas if the trd pro and Offroad packages don’t have it then don’t put it on the rest off the models I took mine off within the first month of having it and haven’t looked back since then
I looked at tri-folding soft tonneau covers and compared them to hard tri-fold covers. I paid around $400 for a high quality tri-fold hard cover. I haul very expensive paintless dent repair tools around and had a set stolen from my previous truck. They cut the soft tonneau cover and took everything I had in back.
9 month old video, things have changed indeed. I’m doing mods but just with oem items that’s others have swapped out. SR5 trim I’ve added, chrome boards, take off wheel tires, floor mats, bed mat, bed cover, mud flaps. All new take off items besides mud flaps, I figure about 20 cents on the dollar.
The tacoma lifestyle mirror signals for cuture referecme are identical to the amazon High Flyer brand so if yoi do get your pro in yhenear future something to keep in mind, they just marked up the price i got mone for around 45 i want to say.
Add some demon brackets and shackles. Super easy mod about 100-120$ total depending on what you pick! I’m in Minnesota too and want to get tint just worried about getting a ticket lol!
1st time listener and just subscribed. Got most of the items you mentioned done and love what you did. And...as long as you like what you've done, then that's all that matters! I went with the softopper and have the 6ft bed. I tried to do the chrome delete using the flexi-paint (can't recall the actual name now), but am thinking the overlay is going to be the best bet. Hello Lianna...I have a 2021 TRD 4x4 Off Road. It doesn't have a entry grab handle on the driver side but does on the passenger side. Do you have a functional suggestion for a grab strap / handle for the driver side?? My truck was shipped with 5"side step bars which actually makes entry into the driver side clumsy (without the grab handle) as compared to the passenger side. Please advise...

Lol they aren’t aesthetic at all. The Sport is the aesthetic one with the fake hood scoop.
Since u have been going with the black theme with ur truck like I have, Toyota also sells a black exhaust tip instead of the chrome.

I just purchase 2023 Tacoma Off Rd X series or XP series. Being where you live 4 wheel drive might be the way to go. Next time you buy check out there X series line, my came with just about everything. I did have add interior led lighting. Great video and great looking truck.

I think the 1st mods to do are the grill w/raptor lights and tint. Those two mods make a huge difference right off the bat.

Get the Pro, I am all about it. Wish I could find a Pro when I got line but to get the luxury stuff I had to go limited. Guess I am always do the shocks, skid plate, wheels etc.

I have also done many of the same mods to my 2019 TRD Off Road Tacoma in Midnight Black. Exterior Chrome Delete, Meso Customs Ultimate black tinted turn signal interior LED lighting, TRD Pro Grill with Smoked Amber Grill lights, Black Smoked Headlights and tail lights, LASFIT Switchback White/Yellow LED Fog lights, AVS Window rain guards, Tinted the front windows at Tint My Ride in Rosemount MN which turned out fantastic, and I put 265/75/16 BFG KO2's on it and recently got some Fuel BLITZ Black gloss with milled accents wheels for it. I am also obsessed with moding my Tacoma lol.

I’m having mud flaps installed on my 23 TRD Off Road double cab 6’ bed.
We get 5-7 feet of snow every winter and I want to protect the paint and not throw anything into the vehicle behind me

some items weren't mentioned as to where you found them. I'm looking for the exterior fron door "Tecoma" lettering overlay in black... and the steering wheel logo overlay. I didn't find on Tacoma Lifestyle... also I have a 2023 Sport 2WD, not completely happy with the grille, there is a downward/front facing camera.. what happens if I replace that, will it mess with cruise or park assist? Did you research this or have an issue when you replaced yours with a TRD pro grille? Thanks.
While I liked the video, the comment about people being bothered by bright headlights was a bad take lol. I drive a camry, so it is rather low to the ground. Unless I look out the passenger window, some cars completely just wipe out my vision on the road at night.
I understand that you shouldn't look directly in the lights lol but I don't think most people are looking right at the headlights, but drivers do have to look at least in the general direction of the road :/

I like the mods. In my opinion, why bother with the TRD PRO you're already almost there. A small lift, some rims, and the shocks (which you may not even want or need).

i just got the pro, main reason, value if you ever were to come to resell, all the "upgrades" are warrantied, and looking at the market, Pros were only 4k more.(fully loaded off-raod)

@@abdulsaghir3989 that can be likely due to inflation now or the dealerships. Some dealers near me in the chicagoland had markups and some didnt. Greedy dealerships will tack on a big markup on Pros due to people willing to pay it
Love this video. Your sequential turn signal install, as well as the raptor lights, were super helpful. I liked how you showed how to run the add-a-fuse through the fuse box. Yours was the only video I found that showed the clip that had to be released to create space for the wire. Anyway, thanks so much. I have successfully installed the raptor lights and sequential turn signals - mine are also Tacoma Lifestyle, blacked out. BTW, I totally agree with your decision to remove the air dam. I plan on doing the same! I look forward to more great content!

The thing about doing any modifications it doesn't matter what anyone thinks besides you, people just suck. I think you did a great job with the truck little by little.
1 "must do" mod I feel is molle panel bed inserts. The Rough Country ones are excellent quality and cheapest on the market.
Also, just fyi there are plenty of other sellers selling the grilles for much cheaper. That's OEM price pretty much.

Don't get the Pro ( I know Pro people gonna hate). Get the Off-Road. It's the same truck! Minus Fox shocks, and rims and Leather-Trim.
You can put the TRD lift (still Bilstein, but nothing wrong with them either), and buy Rims and still come in way less than the 10K more you pay for the Pro. Just my .02
Thank you for your mod list! I’ve been wanting to do almost every one of your upgrades. I LOVE the grill…my only concern is that I have the 2019 TRD Sport 4x2, not 4x4. I’ll have to check to see if it will work in mine. I was looking at the exact same grill. My biggest issue with mine is the lack of storage. So I asked for the UnderCover Swing Case storage box for my birthday. Went to install, does not work for the 2019-2021 model year. At least not on the drivers side. Huge let down. But hopefully this will help caution others not to make the same mistake. Anyway, thank you for sharing your list. I’ll have to look into more of your changes.

I have those same fog light housings and love them. I’ve only had them for a couple of months, so can’t speak to longevity, but they’ve been great to this point.
Enjoy the video just like to say it’s your truck and you can do whatever amount you want to it it’s what you like that matters. I really like some of the mods you’ve done I love the fact that you have tinted your windows however I live in Alberta Canada so I fully understand all the winter references. I’m really jealous you were able to tint all your windows. I have a 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD pro my rear window and back passenger windows are tinted however The driver and front passenger window and windshield are not it is against the law here to have them tinted because the police have to be able to see into the vehicle as they approach it if the windows are tinted they can’t see if someone is pointing a weapon at them or not so I’m completely jealous that you’re able to have tinted windows. I would love to know what your low profile sunshade stick to it looks like the fasten in the window jam I was going to go with these but was advised not to as if they share the same space as the window after repair the time it can affect the electrical motors that control your windows. So I went with the ones that stick to the outer door jam it’s not as low profile but it serves its function. I will say if you are planning to upgrade your truck you’re right not to invest too much money into it save everything you can for when you get your new truck so you can do all the modification your heart desires. I love the different approach between men and women. As a woman you’ve upgraded your truck to make it look very pretty. As a man I’m trying to turn my truck into a tank everything I do was to make it tougher than before I guess it’s just the differences between men and women LOL. Don’t get me wrong I have done some things to make my truck nice and pretty but most of what I’ve done is pretty practical with the exception of giving my truck a name I guess.

Did removing the air damage affect the cooling of your Tacoma? On my old trk I was warned that to do so would lead to overheating.
I got mine on a 6 in lift with 33s and having it for 2 years the air damn on the front lip is unnecessary on the tacomas if the trd pro and Offroad packages don’t have it then don’t put it on the rest off the models I took mine off within the first month of having it and haven’t looked back since then

I looked at tri-folding soft tonneau covers and compared them to hard tri-fold covers. I paid around $400 for a high quality tri-fold hard cover. I haul very expensive paintless dent repair tools around and had a set stolen from my previous truck. They cut the soft tonneau cover and took everything I had in back.

9 month old video, things have changed indeed. I’m doing mods but just with oem items that’s others have swapped out. SR5 trim I’ve added, chrome boards, take off wheel tires, floor mats, bed mat, bed cover, mud flaps. All new take off items besides mud flaps, I figure about 20 cents on the dollar.
The tacoma lifestyle mirror signals for cuture referecme are identical to the amazon High Flyer brand so if yoi do get your pro in yhenear future something to keep in mind, they just marked up the price i got mone for around 45 i want to say.
Add some demon brackets and shackles. Super easy mod about 100-120$ total depending on what you pick! I’m in Minnesota too and want to get tint just worried about getting a ticket lol!

1st time listener and just subscribed. Got most of the items you mentioned done and love what you did. And...as long as you like what you've done, then that's all that matters! I went with the softopper and have the 6ft bed. I tried to do the chrome delete using the flexi-paint (can't recall the actual name now), but am thinking the overlay is going to be the best bet. Nice video and appreciate the info.

Hello Lianna...I have a 2021 TRD 4x4 Off Road. It doesn't have a entry grab handle on the driver side but does on the passenger side. Do you have a functional suggestion for a grab strap / handle for the driver side?? My truck was shipped with 5"side step bars which actually makes entry into the driver side clumsy (without the grab handle) as compared to the passenger side. Please advise...
