This is a million times better than buying/replacing the expensive Bluetooth module

I think this video was incredibly helpful. If we're being real, the obvious stupidity here is somebody commenting and insulting somebody unnecessarily because they didn't do it a particular way. I just installed this into my 2014 Journey, and it's working well so far. The only thing I couldn't do was the PIN for settings, it would not take 0000 like yours did, so it still thinks it's on a Maserati. Otherwise, everything works.
UPDATE: Joyeauto sent me the PIN. Now it knows it’s in a Dodge.

Wow 🤩 awesome vid bro! The reason they didn’t put it in our cars is because it wasn’t really a thing yet between 11-14. I have looked up things like Navtool and naviks and they were like $700-$800! 😢 this is a great option! Going to order it right now! Thank you! I have a 2011 Chrysler 300 by the way and just wondering if you’ve ever had any issues with the telematics module for Bluetooth? I’ve replaced mine 2 times from ones from a junk yard…
I’ve been lucky to not have issues with factory Bluetooth but a plus is if yours is out this will fix it it has its own Inter grated bluetooth

Have you been able to find a way to change tracks via the steering wheel? It’s a feature I use a lot.
And how are you finding the quality of the microphone?
Also, have you had experience with the other brands at all? Nifty, Naviks, Naviplus?
System is great had no issues and using skip buttons will not work with this unit microphone is also great although you can get a better one for 10$ on Amazon

I got mine and absolutely love it. My question to you is did you get your reverse camera to pop up automatically when you throw the car in reverse because my feature won’t work
Yes it should work fine I believe it’s dipswitch 1 that has to be up

If you are using for example Spotify your steering wheel controls works? Volume and change songs
I got the same kit and skipping songs doesn’t work for me but volume does work on the steering wheel
Changing tracks doesn’t work for aux but everything else will

How were you able to get the reverse camera to work? Dip switch 8 is on, customer support state that I need to have guideline on through the CarPlay but still nothing. Do I need to turn on dip switch 4 as well? Is there anything else I’m missing? Would those two yellow cables be for aftermarket camera only as well or was I supposed to plug that into somewhere?
Mine just worked naturally didn’t do anything special but I believe I did turn dipswitch on for oem camera
@@mxjuxior2418 man I just haven’t had any luck getting it to work. Dip switch 8 is on. Guideline option on the car play is on. I tried turning on dipswitch 4 to see if it’ll change anything but nothing. I might just have a car radio shop take a look at it and either program or wire my reverse camera to it. It’s extra money that I wish I didn’t have to pay but I guess some devices they make are faulty since another guy I know has the same issue for about a year since he had his

I have a 2014 Journey SXT with the 8.4 inch screen, and the maps needed update. Not an easy thing to do…so I spent the money with Joyeauto and it works like a charm.

2014 Charger...Does it work with the factory microphone, or did it come with an external mic for voice recognition? If so, where did you install the mic in the car?
External mic you can put it in the left driver side pillar

It should be playing without issue make sure you’re not connected to car Bluetooth
I have the factory rear camera but it’s just black when I go on reverse. And I have put the dipswitch 1 up but nothing.

It should work if they all have rb5 uconnect
Can I get help. I installed it the same way you did but then after a while of turning it on, the screen went black and from then on, I haven’t seen it turn back on.

So even though it says it's for Maserati Ghibli Quattroporte it works on the Charger? I have a 2012 and looking to do this.
Yes, Maserati of that year is the exact same radio as the one in chargers, Chryslers jeeps etc just make sure your 2012 has the same connections as the receiver

Very worth the $400, and it’s easy plug/play. Shouldn’t take more than 1 hour to install.
Did this install and forgot to plug in the microphone🤦🏽♂️. So I have to switch back and forth to uconnect to make and receive calls. Also have to switch back and forth for my reverse screen to appear. Does anyone else have to switch to uconnect for reverse camera?

I don’t use cds but it should work fine if you do that I’m sure you won’t have audio from carplay
How’s it been working 10 months later so my Bluetooth isn’t working and the replacement module is $600+ does this solve that problem so does it have it own Bluetooth
This has its own bluetooth solves that problem better with wireless CarPlay still working good added android box to be able to watch RUclips Netflix etc

@@alivapereviews8057 wired and wireless CarPlay it comes with a mic you would have to run it to your pillar steering controls work only one that won’t work is skipping and playing back songs button

no, anything related to your car that show up on the original radio will show up on the carplay
I know I’m late but yes all your original functions would work you’re not replacing the radio just adding CarPlay to your original unit

I added a android radio CarPlay adapter that I can stream RUclips Netflix and all that by just giving it hotspot

I’ve been skeptical about using iPads or aftermarket radios since I still want to use my back up camera and it seems that most options won’t use the back up camera. Does this still let you use the back up camera?
Any aftermarket radio if not majority retain your backup camera this isn’t aftermarket radio it keeps your stock radio..
There was a lot less work if you took off the dash panel and popped out the radio that way

Yes this has nothing to do and doesn’t affect any aftermarket or oem stuff in your car

If you holding the back button and it doesn’t change something is wired incorrectly

Hey does it has RUclips ?
It doesn’t but what I did is I bought something called smart ai box lets you have CarPlay etc and RUclips Netflix all that it was like 35 bucks

If it’s to change the make of vehicle I believe original code was 8888 but you can go to the website on the page and go to manual

You can always upgrade your 4.3 to the 8.4 that's what I did
