I really like the layout you don’t like, the one with the flowers. Funny how everyone’s tastes are different. Like your channel, subscribed today.

Thanks for the tips on prepping pages... I love your idea of just matching paper and pictures. The hardest thing I struggle with is how to put my scrapbook page together.... what sketch to use ordo I design one myself... it would be good to have some tried and true scrap designs to have as go tos

These are great tips. I am just finishing a bit of a space reorganization & then I am going to start making these kinds of kits. Many people I know make base pages, then pair those up with photos later, and I just can't. I have to start with the photos.

I keep a notebook with all the pages I plan to do. It has the album I want it to go in, all pictures and paper listed. I take this to all crops to keep it in order then mark off each one in the notebook telling me if its competed or needs something added

What a great plan to catch up on current projects. I need to do the same.

It does help alot to get ready and get prepared and then I you can just dive right in once you have a little bit of time to craft.

Thank you for sharing your process. I started as a scrapbooker and then a card here and there was easier. When I had 4 babies just didn’t have time. Going to try to start back up with it now that the kids are older.

You can totally do it! I know it can be hard to find the time! You just have to find little ways to help yourself be successful!

I LOVE the page with flowers that you said you weren't happy with! I think it's beautiful. I've scrapbooking for 25 years and I struggle with keeping up, with collecting vs using, and with the extra photos that I didn't use in a layout. I would love to see a follow up on the pages that you prepped here and how you do traditional vs pocket layouts. HUGS!!

I have done some follow up with adding photos to pages, those video are over on my member group, but in the new year I will do some follow up pages.

Another tip I’ll add if you struggle with the actual layout design is I do screenshots of layouts that I like & print those with a super cheap print membership like Groovebook & add those to the bag. Sketches would work as well.

Great tip Debbie. I love having a few favorite designs to pull from when I'm struggling, but really in the mood to craft, and create.

I try to do the same kind of sorting and have the pages read to go. But as usual. I am always behind.

OH MY GOSH! I've been "re-organizing" my stuff for years. I didn't watch til the end and I'm up pulling paper. Thanks for the great Idea!!! I do spent way too much time going thru my stuff looking to see what I want to use and then the page doesn't get done.

That is what I do. I start with my pictures add paper and then go through each bag and add embellishments. I have 8 grandchildren so some pictures need 8 layouts for each group of pictures. Super easy scraping. And I just keep card stock ,scrap pattern paper and alphas on my desk

This is what I have done for years. It is as close as I get to a 'page kit.' I may throw in a page sketch, but I don't pull stickers, embellishments, etc until I go to work on the page.

I still prefer the traditional layouts. I have a hard time with project life. My photos always are going the wrong way. But I will mix some project life pages into my regular scrapbook if the page sizes match. And then I can add several extra photos. and I love CTMH flip flaps

I totally get that!! It can be hard. I love doing both styles. You totally have to find what works best for you. So glad you here.
