I really enjoyed hearing & seeing your thought process about choosing photos, page protectors, etc. this was so fun to watch! The It’s the little things collection is SO perfect for this project! Makes me want to do it too! I would love to see the process of more days!
It’s my first time doing Week in the Life and I told myself if I didn’t finish this project I couldn’t do it again this year 😂 it’s a great way to document the everyday stuff. I will be making and posting the remaining days for this project!
Wow! Such an awesome video! Love that you’re using Its the Little Things to document a Week in the Life! Would love to see process videos for the other days 😊
I love creating different size layers like this! Watching this video has inspired me to document the incentive trip we just returned from using this approach. THANK YOU for inspiring me! I would love to see more process videos if there is enough interest to make it worth your time. Thanks for sharing Chelsey!
Having just started Project Life this year, this video was super enjoyable to watch! I really liked how you still found room to embellish without overwhelming the photos! Would love to see more process videos for the rest of your Week in the Life :)
I’ve never actually done project life but I love the idea of capturing everyday life. I think it’s so much fun to look back over time and see how life has changed. There will be another process video coming soon!
Would love to see your process for the rest of this project! I have loved the idea of Extended Story since SJ introduces it way back, even before her CTMH collab. I have been struggling with choosing a format for last years vacation photos and I think this will be perfect. Thanks for the inspiration!
This would be a great approach for vacation photos! I love this concept and it’s fun to try different formats. I will try to film and post the remaining pages soon.
Thanks for your insight into narrowing down the pictures. I always have too many! I enjoyed the pocket pages and would love to see the rest of the week process.
It can be so hard to narrow down photos especially if you have lots of good ones! I’m so glad you found this helpful. Hopefully I can share the remaining pages soon.
This is super cute! There was something very satisfying about watching and listening to you create this! I love to use pocket pages in with my 12 x 12 layouts and I am just getting back into it! I would love to see your process for the rest of the week! Thank you for sharing!
Pocket pages are a great way to fit more in! I’m so glad you enjoyed seeing the process and I will be making another video soon showing more of the process.
Chelsey, this is fabulous! I love using flip flaps and pocket pages this way and I love different size page protectors in my books and even some fancy pages out of the plastic sleeve! I never would have thought of journaling on my photo before I printed it...genuis! This is great!
I find the pockets and flips flaps so much fun to look through. I’ve done pages for outside the pp on smaller albums but not in my 12x12, that’s fun! The only tricky part about printing journaling on a photo is getting the sizing right. It’s a good way to include more story though!
@@ChelseyVorosmarty absolutely….they bring tons of interest! Fun elements! You should definitely continue your weekly documenting, I think a lot of people will love those videos. Great idea!
I’ve done day in the life a few times and loved it so this was my first time doing a whole week. It’s such a fun project and I love looking back at these types of everyday life projects! There will be another process video coming soon!
Perfect timing...I just watched SJ's video on the extended story for kids school of life album. Which I'm starting for my granddaughter. I would love to see more process videos! Thanks so much for sharing this. Love how it is coming together.
I love her idea of using this to document the school years! My daughter isn’t school age yet, but I could see doing something like this when she is. I will try to film and post the rest of this project soon!
I got sorted and journaled a whole week 12 years ago. The Cardstock is cut. I only would have to print the photos and put it all together. I would love to have that one. But, as you said, its such a big overwhelming project…. I like your pages a lot! Love rainbows so much!
It is so easy to get derailed with the big projects! If you want to complete the one you started, maybe try just focusing on a single day. Print those photos and finish it. Then at another time, move on and do the next day. It really is a fun project and I love looking back at them as time goes by. I hope you find some success with your project too!
Oh this is great! I am doing Ali’s OLW project and this helped give me some ideas PLUS now I want to do a week in the life or something similar to add in my regular yearly album! Please do show us more ❤
I will be posting at least another video soon! This is my first time doing WITL but I’ve done Day in the life and I absolutely love looking back on these pages capturing everyday life. I’ve never done OLW but Ali has some fantastic projects!
It’s coming soon! These videos take a little more prep, so as soon as I get a chance to select my next round of pictures I’ll be posting another one for sure.
I’m new to this and very excited. Do you have a brand of tape you can recommend? I have some that I used on a different type of project years ago and everything is falling off.
Welcome to scrapbooking!! I hope you have so much fun recording your memories. For foam tape/pop dots I like the ones from Close to my Heart chelsey.closetomyheart.ca/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=10305&ci=15456 And for glue I like this one: chelsey.closetomyheart.ca/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=12567&ci=15450 For tape runner I like the pink Scotch ATG gun with refills from the Tape Jungle. I don’t like the Scotch refills that are sold with the tape gun. The ones I get from The Tape Jungle I’ve used for 10+ years and have never had an issue with pages falling apart. If you’re left handed you probably won’t like this gun and some people find it large, but I love it and the refills are a reasonable price.
They are from Amazon and I have them linked in the description of my craft room tour video that I just posted today. I've recently started using them and I'm loving them!
Amazing! Thanks for sharing your thought process!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great video. Thankyou for sharing.
I'm happy you liked it!
Love love love 💕
Would love to see the process for the rest of the week. Love this
It’s definitely coming. I got busy with other projects but I should be able to get back to it this week!

I’m a big Stacy fan! I’m her membership class. I’m going to be doing a huge extended story of my horse/rodeo years
That extended story sounds super interesting! I love how Stacy encourages us to tell all different kinds of stories and this format is just so fun.
I love this! Yes, I would enjoy seeing the remainder. 😊
Thank you, I’ll be filming and hopefully posting more of this project soon.

I like that you show the process. This was so interesting and helpful
I’m so glad you found it helpful! This was a fun project to create. Now I just need to do finish it 😂
Love the way you made the starting page, using the various protectors is a great idea! Would like to see your process going forward!
I love how fun it is to flip through these pages. I will try to film and post the remaining pages soon.
Love this. I did week in the life several years ago. Thanks for the inspiration. I would love to see more process videos of this coming together

Question: what kind of plastic sleeve do you have your alpha thin cuts in?
They are from Amazon and I have them linked in the description of my craft room tour video that I just posted today. I've recently started using them and I'm loving them!
