The show in Nashville was great. It was surreal to see two metal bands in that venue. Per said the Manager told him it was the first time a Tank was on his stage. On Tommy leaving, I think he believes it is time that he prioritizes his own vocal performances in a way that simply isn’t possible with Sabaton. And who can blame him? He has a great voice, it just isn’t the voice of Sabaton.
Noice! Gotta admit that cello solo was pretty awesome, too. This was a fun reaction. Thank you, Eric. Sabaton is: Joakim Brodén-vocals Pär Sundström-Bass Hannes Van Dahl-Drums Tommy Johansson-Guitar Chris Rörland-Guitar 🤘🤘
What really helps is that they have absolutely brilliant Musicians. Joaqins vocals, Tommys Guitar playing and Hannes drums are making this very special and unique. Bye the way that drummer is Hannes van Dahl....Floors husband.
Those transitions were so smooth. And always with a great historical message. They show how awesome history can be. Tommy J has been putting out some impressive solo renditions of songs. They never build a bridge too far.😜
Lmao! I first thought Sabaton had done E-Type cover Angel's are falling. 😅 I haven't heard this song either. But drums and guitars were the highlight for me.
Hi Eric. As always you bring the best reactions to my favourite band. Oh ok I have two, Nightwish aswell. Can´t wait for Sabatons 30:th anniversary when I hope to see Tommy with Sabaton again. So happy that you gave Hannes credit for being a great drummer, to be honest I would love it if he got some more creative runs though. But for this video, your sound of the video (output to us) sounded quite crappy. Not being negative in any way, just constructive. Love you Eric and all the bets from Sweden. Oh and even my kids concur:)
Would love to hear more Apocalyptica. A Rammstein cover, Nina Hagen singing: Seemann ruclips.net/video/v-YzdvmD2aQ/видео.htmlsi=uMZPKU7MsIGzUBbs Nina Hagen is a legend in Germany. Born in East Germany, trained classical in Opera. Then living in West Germany, London, Netherlands, L.A., France, India... She IS a special artist doing Punk/Rock/New Wave/Reggae.... An embracing Hippie and also an actress. Someone told me on one if her solo albums she worked with the Chilli peppers. But I don't know if it's the truth.
tommy has had another band where hi is singer for about 10 years the current name is majestica but it did have another name before hand that i can not remember if you want to know it check out a q and a with tommy johanson
This show was played January 26th 2020, and is available as a live album and Blue-Ray. It's weird in hindsight to look at the massive crowd, the people not knowing that the world would be in chaos just two months away.
They are all great musicians and professionals, I just love to hear them! Thanks for your comments, Eric. Always a pleasure to hear you, too.
I seems to me that all these European bands are just one big family! I love the way they share the stage! Great reaction!🤘🎸

The only down is that Tommy and Chris are so tight together. But you are spot on as always.
More!! More!! More Sabaton Eric😎🍻First of all, watch SABATON - No Bullets Fly (Animated Story Video)
I prefer to think of Sabaton as "Valor Metal". They sing of heroism and valor in combat.
