After seven glorious years together I decided to step down as the guitarist of Sabaton.
Main reason beeing that I need to follow my heart and put my main focus on my own career both as a solo artist and with my band Majestica that I was a part of from the beginning in 2002.
The guys in Sabaton are my brother, my friends, my family and the crew is the best people in the world that I’ve had the honor of working and living with.
Nothing bad has come out of this and I have enjoyed every minute of being a part of Sabaton.
I’m gonna miss waking up in the morning on the tour bus to a coffee prepared by Hannes before we work out together, gonna miss all the Walmart strolls and the late movie nights with Chris, I’m gonna miss having a beer with Pär and playing video games with him, and I’m gonna miss playing piano and singing harmonies with Joakim! ❤️
But this is not the end - it’s the beginning of a new chapter and I couldn’t be happier to know that Thobbe is back in the band playing the ”Bismarck” solo every night! ❤️💪

Thanks for a reaction from the heart. This tribute makes us all realise the difficult decision Tommy had to make. It is the right one, he is too talented to just be in a band, how he must have been torn. His channel is growing fast and his videos are becoming ultra professional. He is the best musician, His future is very bright, solo and with Majestica❤❤❤
I actually cried a little when I saw Tommy's farewell to Sabaton. You will be missed in Sabaton in the future, but Tobbe is not worse in any way, he will rock on as if he was not gone! Can't think of a better replacement (e.g. original guitarist) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Thanks for this review. I have no words. I’m crying... I understand everything, but I can’t accept that Tommy left Sabaton. I'm glad Thobbe is back, he's a great guitarist. But he's not Tommy! Tommy has incredible charisma. Sorry... I want to say so much, but tears get in the way. Thanks again for the review.
As Sabaton accepted Tommy's decision with love and respect, you should do the same. Leaving his family does not mean it will be forever.

Great reaction, yeah, Sabaton really can play havoc with the emotions and Tommy is same.
My 4-year-old great-grandson insists we listen to Tommy in the car. I have a playlist of Tommy and Sabaton on Spotify and it plays all the time (no exceptions). We are Tommy fans. Major love for the man and his music.

Beside of the very touching video (I cried tears, too)... This song was an unbelievable upgrade to the original.
Great reaction. This video shows how difficult it must have been for Tommy to decide to leave Sabaton. They have had lots of fun on tour, on stage and in between shows. It's a great tribute to his second family.

Your reaction is pretty much my reaction when all Sabaton band members save Joakim and Per quit. When I heard that I was sure that Sabaton would be no more and I got seriosly sad about that, even when I knew that they had new people for the tour it really hurt.
That was such a beautiful sign off to the boys in Sabaton! Clearly they've had some amazing years together. I'm not going anywhere though, I will continue to follow them all; Sabaton, Majestica and Tommy, as I guess most of Sabaton's fans will too. Cheers from Sweden!
What a wonderful and moving reaction. I also shed a few tears at the premiere, a tribute cover to Sabaton. Tommy will be greatly missed as a member of Sabaton, especially at concerts. I'm so happy I got to see Sabaton with Tommy last year at Wembley Arena and on the Sabaton Cruise (no one could have predicted that those were the last two with Tommy). I'm sure we'll have more Majestica and Tommy on his YT in return, and probably a lot of other projects that don't exist yet. Tommy made a very hard but right decision, as a talented musician he had not been able to fit into the confines of being just a guitarist in Sabaton. I had suspected for a long time that unfortunately the day of parting with the band would come, but it still surprised me. I perfectly understand your words about children, difficult life choices, belief in realizing your own dreams and life goals, etc. I have a lot of similar experiences and choices. Congratulations on reaching 100k, you're doing great. Take care🤘🍀

I actually managed to have my lunch break in time for his premiere. (Sadly I couldn't make it to the reactions premieres, due to work🙄)
Tommy will be missed, until we all get used to him not being there. On the other hand, Thobbe is an awesome guitar player and a former band member. It all turns out to the best!!🤘 And more Majestica to look forward to!

I wish Tommy and Sabaton would come back to little rock arkansas, I saw them on nor just their first US tour, but the first stop on that tour, and even though it was a tiny venue, you could tell they were floored when their merch sold out, and the number of people singing along

For me this will always be "the song that's played after a KISS show" and with them having "quit" (at least I believe they have) that in of it self makes me emotional, but this also being Tommy's departure from Sabaton, yeah, it's feels sad, but I will always be thankful that I got to see Sabaton with Tommy!

I descovered Sabaton just about one year ago...just after they had toured in sweden, dam!! Wish I would have found them sooner so I had a chance to se them with Tommy❤❤

Ah and let me add…. Argent was original 1973 the covered by Petra 1977 then redone with a “II” added to title for the kiss cover…. Interesting TOMMY DIDNT PLAY THE KISS VERSION… he played the bill and Ted battle of the bands version where the intro guitar part that sounds too technical to be kiss…. Was actually STEVE VAI!!!!
Eric Grönwald recently left Skid Row....Replaced by Lizzy Hale for a few concerts... So we might see another Tommy-Eric collaboration...🤔🤘👍
