It is so often correct for face hunter to go face, so when it's not correct, it's when shit gets real, and you need to know it. (for example, the flamwaker is a real threat which needs to be removed asap.)

The thing is, it does take *some* degree of skill to play the deck correctly. The gap between bad face hunter and good face hunter isn't very wide, but it can make a big difference. 8:58 is a perfect example of a good face hunter play versus a bad face hunter play, and I thank you, Trump, for showing people this

I`ve never seen my grandfather cry before, he realized how much he has to lose if he keeps smoking. He trowed away the cigarrete in the floor and said that he never gonna smoke again, he make a lot of effort to keep his promisse, unfortunately three years later he died, from lung cancer. It was very sad, and really destroyed me inside. My mother since then keep teeling me: “Do never smoke. Please don't let your family feel the same pain as we did”, i agreed, and promissed to never smoke in my life. At age of 22, even after many temptations, never touched a cigarrete. I have to admit that i regret that, because this deck gave me cancer anyways.
I am actually pretty happy that Trump explained also Face-Hunter. I think it is not so easy to decide when to go to face. I tried this deck and had a hard time. I am completly serious. I think Handlock is far easier to play-> Tap-Tap-Mountain/Twillight and hope for no BGH.... thats impressive

DarkKnight179 Yeah, aggro decks are not the best. But they are the fastest. So, if you can cram in in 4 or 5 games in the time you would need to play a control mirror it doesn't really matter if your win percentage is a little worse. Your progress is still faster in the end.

If I win 55% of times with handlock or patron warrior and 54% of times with face hunter I am still more effective playing the stupid rush deck. Please keep in mind, that I totally disregard the fact that playing face hunter is incredibly boring in this equation.

It is useful, when you combine it with kill command, snake trap with knife juggler is also deadly and Argent horsemen are better value, then wolfrider I think. I know how notorious facehunter can be, guys. But I think it's a good thing that this deck exist. Yes, deck has low skill cap, yes it's has higher effectiveness than you would expect from deck that plays that easily, but see here: that low skill cap, still has to be reached by player who just started the game. Player who just began and checked for cheap deck to make, they will find that even cheap deck can be effective, and when reaching this low skill cap, they will progress further, moving on harder and more costly decks, making Hearthstone community bigger and richer. And in the end, one of my favorite games getting huge support will always make me happier.
Trump made. It pretty clear that the ceiling is a limit on learning. You play this deck and the problem solving skills you learn from ANY OTHER DECK won't ever be learnt. He likes it when people think and going for face as a choice 95% of the time is just mindless. Occasional trading due to taunts and psych taunts is all you ever worry about.
rrcp1us Mad scientist: 4th wing of Naxxramas. Quickshot: Hunter Hero Challenge, requires first wing of BRM. Someone who does F2P still has to go through quite a bit of grinding (3500 gold plus dust for whichever cards you still need) before you can start using this deck. If you want to speed up the grind a bit, and feel overpowered as a facehunter after that, I for one am cool with that.
I'm new to the game, and while people say that you shouldn't use it because it doesn't teach you the game well, I use it because it's pretty much the only meta deck that isn't INSANELY EXPENSIVE!!
Well, I watched a lot of your lessons, Trump, but this was the hardest one. Its really hard to decide to go face or to go face. I even think this is even harder then inventing the infinite engine. Thats the only deck, that I will not play from your list of top decks.
I built my face hunter, and needed to substitute the quick shots and mad scientist. I chose a couple of jungle panthers, and arcane shots.... Good cards?
***** Murlocs summary: They all buff each other and you capitalize on a win more situation where the buffs you get by playing murloc warleader and the health buffing murloc are supposed to give you are really strong board. The issue with the deck is that you kind of have to play warlock and you kind of lose to boardclears, and because you play warlock your only boardclear that doesnt immidiately kill your own creatures is shadowflame, which you really don't want to play. It's more mindless aggro than facehunter and mech shaman. It's a nice little deck but I personally don't like it since it auto loses so many matchups and it doesn't really take that much effort to play, to each and his own though.
What are Leokk and Misha? You can't craft these cards. Oh I heard there is a 2% chance to get them with the card animal companion, summon a random huffer. I learn something new everyday.
Mallan Kayel Misha is a 3 Mana 4/4 with Taunt. People consider Spider Tank a good 3 drop, which is 3 mana 3/4 without any effect. Leokk gives your minions +1 attack at the cost of losing 1 attack itself. Technically the turn he is summoned he is a charge minion with as much attack as you have minions out + you get Leokk the next turn. It's like a mini Savage Roar with a 2/4 body which is really really strong. No matter which Animal Companion you get, its worth way more than 3 Mana. The downside is the randomness, it's got more than enough value.
Qari I don't think it's an actual downside to not know if you will get a really OP minion or a really really OP minion or the perfect minion you need right now.
1grijzejager1 It's a black rock mountain card. You have to either craft the golden version of it or buy Black Rock Mountain. If you can afford, I definitely recommend getting it.
Fieryvortex48 You can craft the golden cards, but, you can only craft them after unlocking them in the personal story missions. You still have to either pay real world money to get them or farm the gold in game to even unlock them before you can craft them. You can verify this by going and trying to craft the gold versions before unlocking the wings, in the place where it would normally say to "disenchant" or "craft", it will instead say "can be crafted after defeating "insert boss or bosses names" in "insert name of applicable expansion".
Well, I am too scared to play on ladder now, because face hunter players might actually start thinking after watching this and will be even more hard to beat. FeelsBadMan
For an updated version, take out one Glaivezooka and the Wolf Riders, then put in an extra Ironbeak Owl and two Argent Horse Riders. People love to hate Face Hunter, but it's glorious in a lean-mean-killing-machine kinda way.
+Marcel Rombouts the best version of face hunter, in my opinion, is forsen's. only one eaglehorn bow, no wolfriders, and instead of them; one loatheb, one piloted shredder and one snake trap. Trump's deck is pretty good too, but I really don't find argent horserider that good, and also one irnobeak owl is enough.
Once you break away from the nothing-above-3-mana patern, it's debatable whether the term facehunter still applies. Forsen's deck you described sounds more like a hybrid hunter.
+Marcel Rombouts exactly the difference between the dirt cheap hunter deck im saving up dust for and trump's deck. The other differences are 1 haunted creeper instead of 2 with a trap to replace that with. The deck im saving up for has 3 traps instead of 2 and has 1 bear, 1 explosive and 1 freezing. Three traps to ensure mad scientist death rattle works and bear and freezing can be quite helpful in situations where they are expecting an explosive. I got pissed at another guide cos it was insulting me and telling me to spend some money if i thought it was too expensive. (It had leeroy jenkins which is like 2 x the dust of the other cards which i needed to craft)
Argent Horserider *was* a great replacement for Wolfrider. It was highly likely to get 4-damage to face and protect itself and other minions - That divine shield wasn’t easy at all to deal with, plus it could be used to kill a threat (like Apprentice) and still gain a 2/1. You’re never going to use Wolfrider to do that, so in this respect Horserider is like a “choose one”.

I'm new to the game, and while people say that you shouldn't use it because it doesn't teach you the game well, I use it because it's pretty much the only meta deck that isn't INSANELY EXPENSIVE!!

Well, I watched a lot of your lessons, Trump, but this was the hardest one. Its really hard to decide to go face or to go face. I even think this is even harder then inventing the infinite engine. Thats the only deck, that I will not play from your list of top decks.
I built my face hunter, and needed to substitute the quick shots and mad scientist.
I chose a couple of jungle panthers, and arcane shots....

As opposed to the popular deck, Face Hunter (Druid). Although sometimes you do run into Face Hunter (Priest).
hello. can some one explain me why i dont have some cards on the crafting list? (Quick Shot for example)
Some of the cards are from naxxramas and blackrock mountain. U will have to buy the wings and defeat the bosses in order to get certain cards.

I want to see a Murloc deck played in this series. Are you up for it Trump?
***** Murlocs summary: They all buff each other and you capitalize on a win more situation where the buffs you get by playing murloc warleader and the health buffing murloc are supposed to give you are really strong board.
The issue with the deck is that you kind of have to play warlock and you kind of lose to boardclears, and because you play warlock your only boardclear that doesnt immidiately kill your own creatures is shadowflame, which you really don't want to play. It's more mindless aggro than facehunter and mech shaman.
It's a nice little deck but I personally don't like it since it auto loses so many matchups and it doesn't really take that much effort to play, to each and his own though.

What are Leokk and Misha? You can't craft these cards. Oh I heard there is a 2% chance to get them with the card animal companion, summon a random huffer. I learn something new everyday.
Mallan Kayel
Misha is a 3 Mana 4/4 with Taunt.
People consider Spider Tank a good 3 drop, which is 3 mana 3/4 without any effect.
Leokk gives your minions +1 attack at the cost of losing 1 attack itself. Technically the turn he is summoned he is a charge minion with as much attack as you have minions out + you get Leokk the next turn. It's like a mini Savage Roar with a 2/4 body which is really really strong.
No matter which Animal Companion you get, its worth way more than 3 Mana. The downside is the randomness, it's got more than enough value.
Troll Face A lot of class cards are OP. But as you said, the downside is you have no control over which animal companion you get.
Qari I don't think it's an actual downside to not know if you will get a really OP minion or a really really OP minion or the perfect minion you need right now.

Why can't I craft Quick shot? It is so weird :/ it looks like that card disapeared where I craft my cards.
1grijzejager1 It's a black rock mountain card. You have to either craft the golden version of it or buy Black Rock Mountain. If you can afford, I definitely recommend getting it.
Fieryvortex48 You can craft the golden cards, but, you can only craft them after unlocking them in the personal story missions. You still have to either pay real world money to get them or farm the gold in game to even unlock them before you can craft them. You can verify this by going and trying to craft the gold versions before unlocking the wings, in the place where it would normally say to "disenchant" or "craft", it will instead say "can be crafted after defeating "insert boss or bosses names" in "insert name of applicable expansion".

For an updated version, take out one Glaivezooka and the Wolf Riders, then put in an extra Ironbeak Owl and two Argent Horse Riders.
People love to hate Face Hunter, but it's glorious in a lean-mean-killing-machine kinda way.
+Marcel Rombouts the best version of face hunter, in my opinion, is forsen's. only one eaglehorn bow, no wolfriders, and instead of them; one loatheb, one piloted shredder and one snake trap. Trump's deck is pretty good too, but I really don't find argent horserider that good, and also one irnobeak owl is enough.
Once you break away from the nothing-above-3-mana patern, it's debatable whether the term facehunter still applies. Forsen's deck you described sounds more like a hybrid hunter.
+Marcel Rombouts exactly the difference between the dirt cheap hunter deck im saving up dust for and trump's deck. The other differences are 1 haunted creeper instead of 2 with a trap to replace that with. The deck im saving up for has 3 traps instead of 2 and has 1 bear, 1 explosive and 1 freezing. Three traps to ensure mad scientist death rattle works and bear and freezing can be quite helpful in situations where they are expecting an explosive.
I got pissed at another guide cos it was insulting me and telling me to spend some money if i thought it was too expensive. (It had leeroy jenkins which is like 2 x the dust of the other cards which i needed to craft)
+Marcel Rombouts why take out wolfrider for horseman? wolfrider hits face better
Argent Horserider *was* a great replacement for Wolfrider. It was highly likely to get 4-damage to face and protect itself and other minions - That divine shield wasn’t easy at all to deal with, plus it could be used to kill a threat (like Apprentice) and still gain a 2/1. You’re never going to use Wolfrider to do that, so in this respect Horserider is like a “choose one”.
