I've played a lot of priest, and think it can be a really strong deck. Used it all the time when mech mage was every other opponent, and would destroy it most of the time. Honestly, I think the thing missing from priest is a more consistent win condition. It feels like the current win condition is to take away your opponent's win condition, which isn't easy at all anymore with the insane empty board combos going around. I really think it would take just one strong card to bring priest up to the top tier decks. Hope to see it happen soon.
zoucrane It's definitely going to be an option in priest decks. The fact it has to stay alive one turn is rough though. Has to compete with Shedder in the 4 slot too. The new expansion could bring some interesting priest decks forward. Can't wait to do some experimenting with deck builds. Pyromancer + Spell + Circle of Heal is a easy way to mill another Priest with 2 Northshires on the board. Even the hero power can burn a card or two if you don't empty your hand.

Snatch/Thief Priest 2 x circles 2 x PW:shields 2 x clockwork gnome (im circulating different stuff here, cant decide) 2 x crazed alchemist 2 x Wild pyromancer. 2 x youthfull brewmaster 2 x SW:Death 2 x Earthen Ring Farseer 2 x Blademaster 2 x Shadow Madness 1 x Auchenai 1 x Holy Nova 1 x Faceless Manipulator 1 x Vol´jin 1 x Lightbomb 2 x cabal shadow priest 1 x Dr. Boom Damage a minion with taunt, use the Alchemist to swap and then steal (the bigger attack the better). Shadow madness a minion and pick up with youthfull, or save your own minions. Heal or do damage with the farseers. Copy with faceless and kill with SW:D.
I've been wanting to play Priest, but my atrocious deck-making skills have prevented me from doing so. I've done exceptionally well with your Warlock deck, though, so thats for that. Hopefully this will work out just as well Thanks, Jens. :)
Now I've constructed a priest deck and it does pretty well on ranks up to 10. Even though it isn't in the higher ranks' area there are basically all decks that you could think of in the current meta (mainly aggro Paladin, Demonlock, Face Hunter, Patron Warrior), Yes, the players are most of the time not as experienced and straight out good as in higher ranks or legendary ranks, but I consider that quite unimportant, seeing how I am myself not playing much HS (Just questing) and am playing budget for the most part. To get to the point tho, the idea of the deck is to control the early game with cards like Blademaster, Velen's Chosen, Zombie Chow and Dark Cultist, leading into an, due to the established board control, easy mid game with Thaurissan and Auchenai (+Circle) as well as Resurrect. This dominant game course allows for the big drops (Nefarian, Boom, Chromaggus) to be pretty safe, since you've baited out most of the removal to catch up with your advantage. Most of the time you will be able to play either Nefarian or Boom before Chromaggus, making him quite difficult to remove, or a mindcontrolled gamemaker in that regard. I find that it works really well (Winrate of 80-90%), and the only thing I would change about it would be one Resurrect for Sylvanas. And I know I'll get a lot of beef for this, but I just wanted to share my experience with priest in the current meta, at least at ranks that run pretty much the same decks as professional ranks do.
Yotam Shitrit Because one rank 8 druid is running a very unusual card? There's already two Circle of Healing and a Lightbomb, so no need to squeeze in a Holy Nova (hell, you'd arguably go a second Lightbomb atm than a first Holy Nova).

KJH Yes, but at rank 10 the opponent is not paying that close attention and it would rarely matter anyway. Trump has talked about this before saying in a tournament he would focus on stuff like that but when laddering it's not a huge deal.
Oh well, that's true. I sometimes just alt-tab during the opponent's turn and have no problem with it... But usually I pay attention to the opponent's hand and when they topdeck and wreck me I unleash my inner Kripp... quietly talking to myself "Topdeck X". Maybe that's not the case for the majority of ladder population tho.
I struggle to find room in my decks because I ALWAYS draft a lightbomb as a priest. I cannot stress how incredible it is as a board clear, it hits the shade in stealth like in this game along with other things (conceal etc) and at 6 mana means you can then play another 4 drop. The disadvantage is also minimal because priest minions generally have more health than attack so you don't often kill your own minions.
Rngamer I have it, with a slightly different decklist (i.imgur.com/SSm2IoP.png) I changed Ysera for dr. Boom, because I found myself having to many cards. And since I don't have ragnaros, I went with dr. gg. I also took out lightbomb, because I didn't found myself using it in a okay-ish way. (It just was to situational) Holy fire is a must have against aggro, because it often turnes the game around (I mean come on! 10 hp difference!!!) In general, I have a 65% win rate, only control/patreon warrior is near impossible to compete against. then again, you (mostly) can't win a game, where you draw shitty.
ケオキ I believe light bomb is more required against handlock, tho handlock is rare, but I too experience the same problem facing patron warrior, control warr not much of a problem due to the slow pace letting me have combos easier
Fun fact with priest: when auchenai soulpriest is out and one of your zombie chows dies, it actually deals 5 damage instead of healing. The poor hunter never saw it coming

got really into control decks but I don't have the legendarys to make them only got dr.7 from crafting so far so and nax from saving so I have made more a mid range priest to ladder me in the meantime hopefully one day I can make the heavy hitter decks. Enjoyed the video but a shame that dark cultist takes a back seat in priest now it is one of my favorite cards in my priest deck.

What happened to Faceless Manipulator? It used to be so commonly played (faceless + removal = value) but it's been all but removed since Naxx. Is it really that slow, when even War Golem wound up in Trump's decks recently?
I generally buff my north shire cleric with inner fire, divine spirit and velens choice by turn 3 that's a 7/7 and can be even better with other health buffing cards

You basically have to have a clear board advantage to play ysera, if not then mostly best to still hold her. rag is usually good even when you don't have board control because he can already destroy minions on a heavy board
I feel bad for Priest. Bottom of the pile, then were somewhat viable for a bit with that Midrange Deathrattle deck, then right back to the bottom. Shame. Cabal Shadow Priest is still my favourite golden card in the game, though.

ErekTshun You use the word "actually" like they're wasting their time making innovative decks. Hearthstone is more than just the ladder. I wouldn't even bother playing TCGs if they didn't have that type of creative gameplay, it's half of the appeal.
Priest is my favorite class in HS. Do you think Loatheb and Faceless are good replacements for Lightbomb and Harrison? And is Ysera ok to be replaced with Ragnaros? I have The Black Knight, so could I replace Sylvanas with it?(I have no other good replacements)
Vol'jin is a good card - the issue is that the meta consists of too many small minions - it's mostly aggro decks, patron warrior (with 3/4 health minions), with control and midrange decks featuring multiple 5+ health minions being much rare than the aforementioned archetypes. If we ever get a more controlling meta, Vol'jin could potentially do quite well.

ForgottenSouls666 2x power word shield is in every priest deck, its just that good. First off, it cycles its self for 1 mana. 2nd you can combo it with wild pyro to clear 1 or 2 health minions, make a 1/5 northshire cleric, use it on injured blademaster if you don't have circle of healing or use it to keep an Auchenai soulpriest alive. Its just too good not to have.

Renzo Guevarra It is really easy actually. 6 minions would have been healed if you used the circle the same way as in your example. That means your Lightward's effect would have been triggered 6 times , giving him + 12 damage , making him a 15/2 .Then you just have to add the damage of your other minions and you are done. Or just use : A x (2 x B) + C. A= Amount of lightwardens. B= Amount of minions healed. C= Attack of all ypur minions before the healing took place.
Trump what do you think about putting King Mukla in a control priest deck? It has a good body and you can kill most of 4 mana minions.. Do you think the bananas drawback makes it worthless? I had a few opportunities to play it on turn 3 and the control-ish deck opponents conceded after 5 seconds on theyr next turn xD (some of them were like checking theyr cards before they concided so probably not afk/disconected)
For those who don't want to read the whole comment thread, of this does it consist; 50% Trump missed lethal by not attacking with Slime. 25% I don't understand why this deck has a gold cost. 15% What's a cheap replacement for Harrison Jones? 5% Please do a Trump Teaching for Handlock/Face Hunter 5% Priest is/isn't viable against patron/face hunter/mech mage/my own special deck.
I prefer to think of this deck as the "How(?) Priest," because you put in so many board control combo cards into your deck that you don't actually have a way to kill your opponent anymore; you just queue up and hope for the best. "Yay, I got a 5/5 out on the board! That's my highest attack minion, so I need it to kill anything that might want to hurt it because who knows when I'll get another minion that can do anywhere near that much damage." That will literally be a thought that crosses your mind as you play this deck, compared to decks that actually put an emphasis on ways to kill your opponent. I'm not saying this is a bad deck; it definitely works, and I've had to face it a number of times in my own experience. It's just different from both viewpoints. When you play it, you'll be wondering how many turns will pass by before you'll ever get to hit your opponent's face; when you're fighting it, you'll be sitting there like, "Okay, how long is this game gonna take....can I kill him in the next 15 turns maybe? Nope, he just wiped out my board again...son of a bitch."

I think Trump misplayed against the druid by playing Ysera. He could have had a stronger board *and* set up lethal for next turn by playing force of nature + shrinkmeister + circle of healing + heal self to 16 hp. With this play, the only way to lose to combo is if druid plays exactly FoN (to clear 2hp minions) and swipes face, or double swipe. FoN + Keeper isn't enough, since you can heal back up to 16, and threaten lethal again the next turn. Ysera is a great way to secure the late game after you've forced the druid to use combo defensively. But I think it's just too slow the turn Trump played it.
marcoswillianl Its possible to play without lightbomb, but its just so much better to have it. If you get in to a situation like a board full of Grim Patrons or a board full of Giants, lightbomb can win you the game. Also, great against Dr Boom. Its a 1 card answer to Dr Boom for 6 mana. Every other class has to throw multiple cards at Dr Boom to get rid of him.
Bruno Sobreira schuh Harrison is good when the meta is weapon heavy, but you could replace it with an azure drake, holy nova, or ooze if you are really running into trouble vs weapon classes. I find ysera not that necessary as when you are up vs control decks, you steal their win condition so you dont need one yourself, and against tempo/aggro decks late game win condition is mostly irrelevant since often times the game is decided by whether you get overwhelmed or he runs out of cards first. Depending on the meta you could replace it with holy nova(vs faster decks, especially hunters) or mind control(vs control heavy meta so probably not now). Sylvanas however is just too good, so honestly there's no replacement. She should be one of the first legendaries you craft if you are looking to play anything other than aggro/combo since she is just too good.
Hurley I can give you some very cheap replacements, but it will make the deck performe worse. Here it is anyway: Ysera: Pretty much any good late game drop. Take the best you have. Maybe a Mind Control? Sylvanas: This one is tough. If you don't have any other really strong 6-drops take Temple Enforcer (Priest card) Harrison: Most people just pick Acidic Swamp Ooze but you can also just take any other good 5-drop. You can also take Mind Control Tech. Or maybe take a big late-game drop. I would recommend you having at least one 7+ creature that isn't Mind Control. Sludge Belcher: Senjin isn't a bad replacement. You can take only one and one Holy Nova. If you don't have Lightbomb take another Holy Nova.
Midrange Decks are good Early to Late Game if you get to play your cards on Curve. You then have options to make the best plays to either trade or go face. Control Decks want to control the board. They use early game removal, try to make them lose their fuel, and try to make it to the late game. They don't go face until the later game.
Why didn't you use circle of healing the first game? You could've possibly saved yourself, and it would've healed the ysera too. That's what I would've done.

Ultimate "feasible" priest combo: Zombie Chow, Zombie Chow, Auchenai, Circle, Mind Blast x2. 20 damage in 1 turn, plus a board clear. (only requirement is fitting in mind blasts)
octagoncow It also highlights one of the major downside of priests. Despite being the healing class, burst combos tend to kill them since so much of their healing is just hero power.
JovialJewels It's actually sad, becaise there healing cards such as Holy fire and holy nova, which are decent just are trumped by other decks like Paladin's lay on hands, or even Druid's tree of life works out better. Preist need more cards that significantly impact the health to help maintain there health against aggro decks.

Priest is often underestimated, but never forget that it's the ultimate bane of hunters, my deck boasts a 90%+ winrate against all kinds of aggro decks. How? Deathlords, yes they are risk factors against control, but unless it's druid or warrior control the deathrattle is usualy no big deal, in fact, more often than not they draw out battlecry-minions like defenders of argus, or against aggro a soon-to-be-dead 2 drop due to either holy nova, lightbomb, or auchenai+circle.

got really into control decks but I don't have the legendarys to make them only got dr.7 from crafting so far so and nax from saving so I have made more a mid range priest to ladder me in the meantime hopefully one day I can make the heavy hitter decks. Enjoyed the video but a shame that dark cultist takes a back seat in priest now it is one of my favorite cards in my priest deck.

I'm new to Hearthstone, probably started playing about a week ago (ayy lmao). anyway, I started playing druid and wanted to know what kind of deck is best for them right now? I currently play the force of nature/savage roar deck but now I realise its not as good as it seemed although I might be building it wrong. What happened to Faceless Manipulator? It used to be so commonly played (faceless + removal = value) but it's been all but removed since Naxx. Is it really that slow, when even War Golem wound up in Trump's decks recently?

I have Ysera but I don't really sure when we use ragnaros when we use Ysera because adding both of them in deck is often too slow
You basically have to have a clear board advantage to play ysera, if not then mostly best to still hold her. rag is usually good even when you don't have board control because he can already destroy minions on a heavy board
I feel bad for Priest. Bottom of the pile, then were somewhat viable for a bit with that Midrange Deathrattle deck, then right back to the bottom. Shame. Cabal Shadow Priest is still my favourite golden card in the game, though.

ErekTshun You use the word "actually" like they're wasting their time making innovative decks. Hearthstone is more than just the ladder. I wouldn't even bother playing TCGs if they didn't have that type of creative gameplay, it's half of the appeal.
Priest is my favorite class in HS. Do you think Loatheb and Faceless are good replacements for Lightbomb and Harrison? And is Ysera ok to be replaced with Ragnaros? I have The Black Knight, so could I replace Sylvanas with it?(I have no other good replacements)

Vol'jin is a good card - the issue is that the meta consists of too many small minions - it's mostly aggro decks, patron warrior (with 3/4 health minions), with control and midrange decks featuring multiple 5+ health minions being much rare than the aforementioned archetypes.
If we ever get a more controlling meta, Vol'jin could potentially do quite well.

What got me playing priest a lot more was my second lengedary, Vol Jin. Oh, and great videos! I learned about Cabal + Shrinkmeister from you ^^
ForgottenSouls666 2x power word shield is in every priest deck, its just that good. First off, it cycles its self for 1 mana. 2nd you can combo it with wild pyro to clear 1 or 2 health minions, make a 1/5 northshire cleric, use it on injured blademaster if you don't have circle of healing or use it to keep an Auchenai soulpriest alive. Its just too good not to have.

Renzo Guevarra It is really easy actually. 6 minions would have been healed if you used the circle the same way as in your example. That means your Lightward's effect would have been triggered 6 times , giving him + 12 damage , making him a 15/2 .Then you just have to add the damage of your other minions and you are done.
Or just use : A x (2 x B) + C.
A= Amount of lightwardens.
B= Amount of minions healed.
C= Attack of all ypur minions before the healing took place.

Trump what do you think about putting King Mukla in a control priest deck? It has a good body and you can kill most of 4 mana minions.. Do you think the bananas drawback makes it worthless? I had a few opportunities to play it on turn 3 and the control-ish deck opponents conceded after 5 seconds on theyr next turn xD (some of them were like checking theyr cards before they concided so probably not afk/disconected)

I prefer to think of this deck as the "How(?) Priest," because you put in so many board control combo cards into your deck that you don't actually have a way to kill your opponent anymore; you just queue up and hope for the best. "Yay, I got a 5/5 out on the board! That's my highest attack minion, so I need it to kill anything that might want to hurt it because who knows when I'll get another minion that can do anywhere near that much damage." That will literally be a thought that crosses your mind as you play this deck, compared to decks that actually put an emphasis on ways to kill your opponent.
I'm not saying this is a bad deck; it definitely works, and I've had to face it a number of times in my own experience. It's just different from both viewpoints. When you play it, you'll be wondering how many turns will pass by before you'll ever get to hit your opponent's face; when you're fighting it, you'll be sitting there like, "Okay, how long is this game gonna take....can I kill him in the next 15 turns maybe? Nope, he just wiped out my board again...son of a bitch."
What legendary card do you recommend me to craft for priest control; I already have Sylvanas and Ysera. I was thinking in crafting Justicar or Harrison, I prefer justicar. but i need a opinion xd, what do you guys think?
Justicar, Harrison can be easily replaced with toxic ooze, amd justicar is also amazing in warrior.

I think Trump misplayed against the druid by playing Ysera. He could have had a stronger board *and* set up lethal for next turn by playing force of nature + shrinkmeister + circle of healing + heal self to 16 hp. With this play, the only way to lose to combo is if druid plays exactly FoN (to clear 2hp minions) and swipes face, or double swipe. FoN + Keeper isn't enough, since you can heal back up to 16, and threaten lethal again the next turn.
Ysera is a great way to secure the late game after you've forced the druid to use combo defensively. But I think it's just too slow the turn Trump played it.

marcoswillianl Its possible to play without lightbomb, but its just so much better to have it. If you get in to a situation like a board full of Grim Patrons or a board full of Giants, lightbomb can win you the game. Also, great against Dr Boom. Its a 1 card answer to Dr Boom for 6 mana. Every other class has to throw multiple cards at Dr Boom to get rid of him.

Bruno Sobreira schuh Harrison is good when the meta is weapon heavy, but you could replace it with an azure drake, holy nova, or ooze if you are really running into trouble vs weapon classes. I find ysera not that necessary as when you are up vs control decks, you steal their win condition so you dont need one yourself, and against tempo/aggro decks late game win condition is mostly irrelevant since often times the game is decided by whether you get overwhelmed or he runs out of cards first. Depending on the meta you could replace it with holy nova(vs faster decks, especially hunters) or mind control(vs control heavy meta so probably not now).
Sylvanas however is just too good, so honestly there's no replacement. She should be one of the first legendaries you craft if you are looking to play anything other than aggro/combo since she is just too good.

Hurley I can give you some very cheap replacements, but it will make the deck performe worse. Here it is anyway:
Ysera: Pretty much any good late game drop. Take the best you have. Maybe a Mind Control?
Sylvanas: This one is tough. If you don't have any other really strong 6-drops take Temple Enforcer (Priest card)
Harrison: Most people just pick Acidic Swamp Ooze but you can also just take any other good 5-drop. You can also take Mind Control Tech. Or maybe take a big late-game drop. I would recommend you having at least one 7+ creature that isn't Mind Control.
Sludge Belcher: Senjin isn't a bad replacement. You can take only one and one Holy Nova.
If you don't have Lightbomb take another Holy Nova.

Midrange Decks are good Early to Late Game if you get to play your cards on Curve. You then have options to make the best plays to either trade or go face. Control Decks want to control the board. They use early game removal, try to make them lose their fuel, and try to make it to the late game. They don't go face until the later game.

Why didn't you use circle of healing the first game? You could've possibly saved yourself, and it would've healed the ysera too. That's what I would've done.

It's actually sad, becaise there healing cards such as Holy fire and holy nova, which are decent just are trumped by other decks like Paladin's lay on hands, or even Druid's tree of life works out better. Preist need more cards that significantly impact the health to help maintain there health against aggro decks.

Priest is often underestimated, but never forget that it's the ultimate bane of hunters, my deck boasts a 90%+ winrate against all kinds of aggro decks. How? Deathlords, yes they are risk factors against control, but unless it's druid or warrior control the deathrattle is usualy no big deal, in fact, more often than not they draw out battlecry-minions like defenders of argus, or against aggro a soon-to-be-dead 2 drop due to either holy nova, lightbomb, or auchenai+circle.
