@@daovictoria I really hope they add Nax and GvG to classic like they have talked about. Classic is fun and all, but the cardpool is really small, and the opportunity to expand the meta is non-existent because there isn't really anything to try and tech that hasn't been done already.
Adding Nax and GvG would really help it become not as stagnant

just started using this and thanks to you i'm doing good. Just killed a control warrior with 30+23 armor in one turn with a perfect finish not a damage more. Didn't even think it was possible.

Just came here to say that I played again RFN in a match on Sunday and he emote spammed the whole game. Roped him halfway through when I realized I was in a losing position. Felt great. Carry on.

In over a year in playing Control Warrior I rarely see a mulligan and draw sequence as good as that first game. You should buy a lottery ticket, Trump.
How? A year and not one good hand?
Seraphim Wolf Draw Sylvanas, Ysera and Grom in opening hand; ditch all of them and mulligan a Shield Maiden, Dr. Boom and Alexstraza. Spend the next 5 turns armoring up. GG. WP. Any Control Warrior will tell you this is the only downside to this deck - you are dictated as to how well any game will go by your card draw. Trump mentions this briefly about half way through the video. I RARELY mulligan a Fiery War Axe, even when I ditch my opening hand. I honestly don't remember seeing an opening hand which had Win Axe, Taskmaster, Acolyte AND Armorsmith. It's unreal. Literally the dream hand.

And it feels like 90% against my opponent, but I'm just seeing what I want to see to avoid salt when I face patron warriors.

I think your deck tracker has a glitch. It says the shield block is 3 mana. Should be two mana. Love the content! Would love to see a trump teachings video on rainbow mage.

+Remy Lebeau I would like a "which card for what" video, where he explains, when certain cards should be implemented (also tech cards). Although it is clear for many cards (harrison, baron geddon etc), it affects slots in the deck, so one would have to swap (and that's difficult sometimes). And in the end these videos are for beginners/intermediates, who want to learn specific deck-archetypes, so I guess it would he very helpful.

the funny thing tho is that that play would have made it impossible to kill the giant @ 18:20

AscendedFish Yes it was because if which ever minion on the enemies board survived; he'd be able to kill it will the deathsbite while triggering hellscream for a garanteed lethal.
Creeo he had an inferno with taunt, sunfury with taunt, sunfury (no taunt) and an ancient watcher with taunt so no it wasn't lethal.
Creeo He would need 11 mana to do it.

@Trump Would this deck still be good for going into Whispers? I have some gold built up, was going to buy a bunch of new packs out of the lastest expansion, should I go for the classic instead? This deck looks like fun! I'm also considering scrapping a bunch of Naxx cards that I've never used. I plan to only play standard as Blizz plans to keep the playing field level. Wild is too crazy for me! I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of cards go bye-bye!

I felt so bad for the last warlock.
Pretty sure the patron player in game 1 misplayed by playing thaurissan too early. He should have saved it for a big frothing play but I don't know for sure since I can't see his hand. Also, when he played double ghoul and acolyte to cycle, that gets rid of his win condition too since he will almost definitely need the extra damage from the ghouls in his final push. Pretty hard to know for sure tho since trump did put a lot of pressure on early.
Why don't people run Ragnaros in Control Warrior anymore?
CroniusXP well they thought he was the card that was easiest to replace to improve the deck
CroniusXP some people do. the thing with ragnaros is that he's a bit unpredictable, and susceptible to being BGH'd, but he's still a pretty valid choice in the case of big minions.
CroniusXP A lot of decks run sticky minions. And a lot of small ones too. Rag hitting a Patron, Haunted Creeper, Shielded Minibot, Piloted Shredder etc. is a waste of 8 Mana.

How is the freeze mage a hard matchup? Isn't the win condition just armoring up every turn and being able to kill antonidas the turn it's played? That makes it so easy...

I never understood why people use emperor in this deck. You don't need it for any combos. You play against a rush deck, you lose if you spend your turn 6 playing it. You playing against a control deck, you have enough big creatures to win anyway. Can someone explain?
candy castle If you have a lot of cards it allows you to sometimes get a notable advantage. Thaurissan tends to be good in control decks because it allows a much easier turn of answer + threat.
i.e. you can shield slam an enemy minion and play Dr. Boom the turn after you play thaurissan, and still have 1 mana left over for another card like execute or to play an armoursmith or something like that. The benefits are more obvious in a taunt heavy druid where you can drop multiple threats, but a zero cost destroy a minion is extremely useful as well. Plus if you play him after ysera has tossed some dream cards in your hands you get a crazy amount of value out of that.
candy castle It just brings a lot of tempo, you also have two combos, those being sylvannas brawl and gromash. Mostly for tempo

You are absolutely right. Although emperor is a sick ass card, I don't know many who run him in CW. It doesn't accomplish much.
Warrior is my favorite class right now, although the problem with it is the cost of this deck! 12k dust!

Hey, guys I have every single card in this deck except for Harrison. To replace I use ooze. Can someone tell me about the advantages and disadvantages and other info about replacing Harrison?
Is this deck viable without the high-end legends (replacing them as needed). I really want to play aggro, but I've been focusing my gold on adventures so I don't quite have any of the legends used except Harrison and Emperor... If so, what would you suggest? (I've been trying but I think I'm doing it wrong)

I don't have most of these legendaries. The legendaries I chose for this deck are: Kel Thuzad, Boom, Chrommagus, and Loatheb. I also have Gorehowl for this.

I guess you replace Sylvanas with Mind Control Tech, Alexstrasza with Antique Healbot, Ysera with any big legendary you have and Grommash with Leeroy Jenkins...and if you don't have Leeroy...RECKLESS ROCKETEER....BUDGET WARRIOR FTW...as for the brawls....

Am I the only one wondering how this deck will cost you only 3500 gold? If you buy 35 packs from that, which will give you on average 2 legendaries, and say those are Alex and Ysera, you still need 256 dust on average per pack... And you can't count the 400 dust from the two legendaries since you're not going to DE those. So only if you get 2 epics in each pack you might get close. So I was just wondering how Trump calculated that...

Milkeon The Cute Pretty much all of them . Ofcourese the meta will change and new cards will be added that might counter the older decks ,but at the end of it ,they are still viable.

Milkeon The Cute On the 25-5 ladder every one of them is viable thanks to diversity in decks. Unfortunately higher ranks are swarming with Patron Warriors. It hurts Midrange Paladin, Ramp Druid and Priests the most since they are bad against Patrons and aren't usually good against most Patron counters either.
I started playing 2 months after the release so I was be able to craft all heavy control decks,, didnt pay jack to blizzard :D
