SLED DID A BAD INVESTIGATION OF THE CRIME SCENE AND NO EXCUSE FOR THAT.,
...Law enforcement are PROFESSONALS...just because questions may arise...AFTER THE FACT...does not mean the crime scene was contaminated...there are still two dead bodies...blood everywhere...and Alex said that he "checked" them for pulse/for signs of life...why weren't his tracks there...or blood on his shoes....
They were friends of the murdaugh and cover for their miss deeds
Seems McAllister who was tasked with investigating the house and JM got all chummy an on first name basis did a lousy lazy job! She did not swab the drains on a property where a double homicide was just committed! Lazy an incompetent! That is investigation 101! No excuse for the crappy work at the house!
Absolutely finally someone said this! There sloppiness could end this case in a hung jury or an acquittal.
He took two guns down on his cart, and worked at this horror from there.
unfortunatly , they did'nt test that golf cart for evidence of that.
I think that’s why the garden hose was not put back properly because Alex had used it to spray off the golf cart. The man that cared for the Murdaugh’s dogs testified that he always put the garden hose back a certain way each time.
Even his brother said he looked like he just had a shower
Check the bathroom drain to find blood residue.
Yes! Why did they never check the tub for blood?
Yeah because the thing you do is wash off the evidence and get rid of the clothes after killing your Pau Pau and Mags.
Hunters can handle two different guns. Especially when they want it to look like two shooters.
That is a good point
Easily.
What a good point
Geah AM has it all covered to be a murderer
Hes a layer,done prosection
A hunter
Believes hes above the law
And a serioise addiction to money
& so so cunning

In fairness, I have hunted a bit, I have never hunted wit two guns for that reason, is there some reason to do that?
@The Stig O.P. was referring to the range of guns hunters become proficient and familiar with.
the lady lawyer....... lack of experience !!!! obviously !!! need to go finish law school
She should not be up there asking any sought of questions at all , she a real air head!
Isn't she with the prosecution? I think so.
The prosecution's cross examination was not very good...
Just her holding her hand like she's holding a hand gun while talking about the shutgun made me lol

I think she’s actually pretty smart but she talks like a truck stop waitress and her make-up, clothes and hairstyle seem to be straight out of a vampire movie. Wonder if I could get her phone number by calling the SC AGs office…? Sorry, just felt the need to lighten it up a bit. She probably only dates attorneys.
This guy's wallet must have been so full of membership cards
That made me laugh!
If it was a contact wound then why no powder on the skull fragments .
He might get off these two murders but he dang sure isn’t get off the financial crimes he’ll never be a free man again
I believe the most severe sentence for the financial crimes is 30 years. He will plea deal for 20 and be out in 10
@@sittingindetroit9204 oh noooo he’s looking at more than 30 yrs this is all federal & he’s going to do every single day.
@@IceWataJ3 99.99% of the time all sentences run at the same time and federal does have early release programs
If he gets off he’ll walk on financial crimes also. They will be paid.
@@IceWataJ3 he's looking at 100 yrs with.all of the financial crimes. I'm assuming he'd only spend a 1/3 of that. Depending on sentencing and if he behaves himself he may get good time 2 for 1 or however it goes. So I'm not actually sure how much he'd fully spend. 🤦 He'll die in prison more than likely.👍
AM is an avid hunter, extremely familiar with firearms. WHY is it so difficult to believe he was the only shooter, using 2 different weapons (in an attempt to throw off the investigation)? 🤔
AM stated, *"somebody's been thinking about this for a long time"* . Peculiar statement, is it not? Anyway, that implies prior planning, to include placement of weapons.
Exactly!! And yes, he thought about this for a while b4 doing it. Sickening
As a woman, familiar with firearms, I’ve been at the range 100s of times shooting long guns (both shotguns and various rifles. We often practice transitioning between different weapons platforms in case of jams, running out of ammo, etc. I can tell this expert dude has not done those drills. It is not hard, especially for someone familiar with both weapons.
@@jennywilliams531 I think the attorney friends and the cops are covering for him from the beginning of that 911 call. So much evidence wasn't collected or done! Down to simple things like collecting his clothes, etc.
@@AlpacaRenee Totally agree, especially if he was prepared, had rifle on sling, etc!
because of the timing and space between Paul and Maggie. Listen again to the expert ..there is now some doubt if it was alex and thats all it will take
He is a lier.
He's even admitted to being a liar.
This guy is paid to say what he is saying. I call BS.
He should be charged with contempt of court.
I agree my husband is a hunter he said if your good with guns this would be nothing to pull off shooting two different guns from ground or the golf cart.
Uses 2 guns Alex thinks he's so clever creating doubt I pray this jury has common sense
I think it’s also perfectly feasible he used two weapons. Guns were everywhere. In the hands of usually drunk and stoned people. It’s unbelievable to me they had any guns or were allowed any guns at all. It’s disgusting the accessibility of buying guns there.
Never! Most of them do not have common sense! BOTH SIDES TRY TO PICK DUMMIES! TO WIN THEIR CASE!
I understand that spouses kill each other. It’s not even a question. But, to imagine murdering your own baby, regardless of age they’re still your babies, so violently. I can’t even fathom it. It’s beyond me.

That is what I thought also, but then look at the Chris Watts case. How did he smother his 2 little girls and throw them into 2 seperate oil tanks?

Paul was a consummate bad-seed fuckup drunkard! His stupidity and weakness fucked the entire family's social standing and money. I suspect Alex felt hatred for Paul. Eliminating him was cathartic.
The woman attorney for the prosecutor's office is a complete buffon !!!!
She addressed him as doctor when he is not doctor. That was kinda bad looking on her part.

This guy Palmbach is no slouch. He is asked for his opinions on documentaries and crime scene investigations. He usually hits the nail on the head. (No pun intended.)
With all due respect, sorry, but not on this. There is no way physics will agree that blowback is going to send pellets in the opposite direction with enough velocity to lodge in wood and dent metal. This is total hogwash. Blood and biologic material can be sent in reverse because they are at a state of rest. The impact will impart kinectic energy from the pellets and the escaping gas into the target starting a chain reaction of millions of collisions. The net result is blow out(dominant) and blowback. The energy of the blowback comes from the kinetic energy of the pellets and the escaping gas. This can send particulates back but NOT pellets! Why? It's because the pellets have velocity(1400 fps) and thus momentum which must be conserved. In other words, BEFORE the pellets can change direction, they must shed this momentum! Some net force must shed their kinetic energy to bring them to a halt and then some some net force must accelerate them in the opposite direct! Blowback will NOT achieve this! Impossible. There is one and only one way, and that's for these pellets to experience a near-elastic collision with the head. This WILL NOT HAPPEN because skulls break, tissue gives, and the head is able to move under heavy applied force. All these things shed kinetic energy from the pellets and are directed elsewhere, primarily out and forward. The only way a pellet can do a 180 is to hit something hard like metal straight on. If the target does not move and give and neither will the pellets, then you will havr a near-elastic collision. It's not because some of this kinetic energy will be converted to heat and sound. What is left will result in an impulse(large force applied over very short durstion) event that will be capable of sending the pellets 180 degrees in the opposite direction with high velocity. Again, neither target nor pellet cannot deform and the target must not budge at all. This is the only way. Shooting a head from behind will NEVER send pellets flying back 180 degrees as this guy says. Bones and other biologic, sure, BUT NOT PELLETS! The evidence at the feed clearly proves the shot was into the feed room not out of the feed room. A head shot from behind will first shatter and compress into brain causing it to explode in all different directions. The pressure would blow the skull up and out and back(blowback). The exit would blow his face off. High velocity blood splatter would be all in the concrete. His claims are BEYOND RIDICULOUS! The brain would be unrecognizable. Paul's was still intact with just a small exit hole at the bottom. How? He should have tested his theory before making such a ludicrous claim. He has no credibility after this absurd claim. "Expert" is a relative term. He may be an expert in the eyes of non-gun owners and non-physics people, but not when you know physics and known guns all your life. It helps but you don't even need to know physics. Just be very versed with firearms. There were men on this jury, men from hog country. Men who have been around guns all their lives. They weren't going to let these two defense "experts" or should I say snake oil salesman sell them snake oil! They know a ruse when they smell it and that's all this was, a ruse to trick jurors who lacked the knowledge. They figured, the word "expert" would scare these jurors into believing anything! You could smell their BS from miles away. Total BS this guy and their forensic pathologist. Nothing against you, just calling them out for who they are. Cheers!
I feel sorry for him for taking such a famous case then.
His credibility will be seriously damaged.
Sooo don't agree! It was Alex w/ 2 guns

Problem, if the shooter was behind him as this guy states, then why no blood from the shooter, if the pellets dented the door, surely would have penetrated the skin. Maybe even killed the shooter?
Alex said whoever did this thought about it a long time.Alex worked out all the details.
Yah. That was very telling. Why would he come up with that comment, other than as a slip of his own projection.
If a prosecutor thinks a crime out for a long time, there’s no catching him. He’d know to not break Maggie’s routine by asking her to come to the property especially since she might tell someone he asked her to come. He’d make sure to not touch the phones, He’d set up a trail hinting that someone invaded the property like a break in the fence or shoe tracks.from bigger shoes than his. He’d mention to friends a few days prior that he’s worried there’s a drifter or kids accessing his property, maybe even call the cops to report it.
@Jake Stroll your point?

How was her cross of the witness supposed to help the prosecution? The witness not only stuck to his testimony but clarified it more specifically for the jury thanks to the prosecution's questions on cross. Why is the prosecution helping the defense here?
2 Gunners. Sniper style positioning on roof of kennel. Suspect to consider: The dude that was texting and snapchattin with Paul right before it happened.
He knows what went down and who was involved.
He stated he never got off the side by side in testimony. That could count for the 5'2 height and more then one gun beside him. Maggie had the tire print on her calf. He said he got off it to put the chicken on the box,but at the same time saying Mags was right there. Maybe Maggie took the chicken to the box.
That explains the short trajectory and the shell casing all lined up and spaced apart. AR can shoot fast and so he was on the move.

It's interesting that when the expert is describing the position of Maggie's body, he says that she is in a face-down position, which means her chest is on the ground, but the defense attorney cuts him off before he can continue his description. Unless her body was moved if she was facing the shooter when she was shot, why isn't she lying on her back with her face up? With regard to his two-shooter hypothesis, he is providing speculative tailor-made testimony to help deflect blame off of Murdaugh. He uses the terms "more than likely", "could have", "I think", "other things to consider", "I believe", "suggests", "more probable than not", "more or less", "if that's the case", "but having said that", "no practical reason", and "it tips in the PROBABILITY of two shooters". This sounds like tailor-made speculation to me. He then says "what appear to be partial footprints in blood and in the feed room and on the cement around it impressions" followed by "ALTHOUGH I'M NOT A FOOT WARE PATTERN EXPERT, I can GENERALLY RECOGNIZE WHAT APPEAR TO BE PARTIAL FOOT WARE IMPRESSIONS I WOULD AGREE WITH THAT" He rendering an opinion in an area that he admits he is not an expert in!!! Also, he is basing his speculative hypothesis only on the information provided to him by the defense, NOT BASED ON ALL OF THE INFORMATION AND EVIDENCE, AND HE DIDN'T WRITE A REPORT!!!

the guy might have done suspicous things to begin with, but it is obvious that he is not guilty the cross examination of the lawyer is ridiculous, she is just making a fool of herself. Questioning an expert in his field as if he is an idiot and trying just to put doubt in the minds of the jurors. The back and forth of prosecutors is just about winning not getting to the truth, and if winning means putting innocent people in jail, or letting guilty people out of being prosecuted, so be it.
Interesting how no one is considering that a man of Alex means may have hired someone and he didn't actually do the deed himself but knew it was going to happen.
Yeah he sure is innocent. FOH
With all due respect, how is it so obvious that he is not guilty? How so? Based on this "expert"? All the evidence points to AM. What doesn't? Please shed some light? If you believe this blowback theory, I'll be glad to discuss the physics of it because it is total hogwash. Is blowback real? Absolutely! Can it reverse a pellet traveling 1400fps in one direction 180 degrees back in the opposite direction and lodge it in in a door frame or dent metal? Absolutely not! Physics says it's not possible. What is it that propels these pellets? Expanding gases(energized atoms). Why are they expanding, because it's been heated(atoms have been given lots of energy exciting them). When they exit the barrel near an object(close range shot), they cannot expandxquickly enough in that direction so this expansion continues out and back towards the shooter. This is blowback! When a gas expands, it starts to lose pressure. Namely, these super excited atoms are allowed to travel in a larger volume and start to collide with other atoms, transferring energy in the process. Some of these atoms will travel back in the direction of the shooter and create a chain of colllisions that cascade back to the shooter. It's these atoms that must collide with the pellets to slow it to a and then accelerate it 180 degrees in the opposite direction at a high enough velocity in order to embed it in wood and dent metal. Can this air alone do this? Absolutely not as it is rapidly losing energy. The main reason it can alone is because the pellets LEAD THE GAS. It's the gas, the atoms behind it, that collide into it accelerating it forward.
The only plausible way pellets can reverse direction due to blowback is if some pellets' momentum are retarded by tissue, allowing this gas to get behind it, and expand from behind, pushing the lodged pellet in the opposite direction, that of the shooter. If this were to happen the velocities would be so low, there is no way it could lodge in wood or dent metal at these distance. The only way a pellet could change direction and maintain hig velocities is if it experienced a near perfect elastic collission, something that isn't going to happen shooting at a head which has a layer of soft tissue and will crack and shatter. This is only possible if shooting at say something hard like steel. This is just not physically possible. You'd have to violate physical law to achieve this. A head shot at close range is NOT going to send pellets flying backwards at the shooter and lodging it in wood. Blood and bone fragments are possible because they are initially at a state of rest so they can be quickly accelerated in any direction. A pellet is NOT. It has been rapidly accelerated and has momentum which must be conserved. You cannot just change it's direction instantly with air pressure, especially the low pressure of a blowback. So no, this "expert" is simply speaking hogwash and they and he know it. The shot was into the feed room not out of the feed room. He's been PAID a large sum of money to provide an alternative theory, to create doubt and nothing more. They dont care if it's right ir wrong. As long as it creates doubt in one unsuspecting juror, he's earned his keep. They put on a show, much like a magic show. All they need is to create doubt in one person. That's it. They don't need to be right. They can be 100% wrong. As long as it muddies up one juror's mind, they win. Please do share why it seems so obvious he is not guilty?
Is it the two guns? The low angle? Simple to explain. You live on farms like this, you have guns all the time. More than one gun. Each person their own. How can 6'4" guy shoot gun at such a low angle? It's a shotgun. You don't need to shoulder it. Shooting from the hip sitting in a side by side is 100% plausible and it is very comfortable. Point and pull, simple as that. Absolutely NO NEED to shoulder a shotgun to hit a target unlike a rifle. The 300 blacket was likely in the side by side leaning in a ready position or lying down. Doesnt matter. Both are easily accessible. The shooter does NOT have to plan to bring to guns. There are two guns by default. You shoot one, why reload when you have another eady to go at arms reach? He didn't have to bring two guns. He knew two guns would be available if he brings one. Two shooter theory is out the door. Ambush one, the second is gonna, try to flee. Grab the 300 which has more range and capacity. For those familiar with guns, this is like riding a bike. Nothing cumbersome. The defense wants to make it so but it isn't. Cheers!
Did you really just say it's obvious he's not guilty? I am fascinated by the dumb people out in society today. I wish top scientists could study your brain

lots of bad mistakes that he made tho--his life is over no matter what😕😓
The family has many enemies
This man is extremely intelligent.
He talks like he is all knowing and comes across as a little bit too slick and arrogant to me. His theory of Paul and the shooter trading places in the doorway seems preposterous as is his blowback theory.
this clown should lose his ability to testify in cases like this. No way in hell a shotgun blast directed at the ground, at close range, reflected back up to the ceiling and embedded in the ceiling. Total nonsense. He clearly shot his wife and child. He was there minutes before this happened and didnt report hearing any gunshots less than 200yds from the house he reported to be in.
Yea his explanation completely goes against physics
You bet. And yes, he should lose his ability to testify.
According to his theory the killer would have had to be standing behind Paul for the shot to enter his head and come out onto Paul’s left shoulder . Paul was hardly going to kneel down and allow the killer to go around him . The shot gun has a long long length to position in contact the top of the head .
Where did Paul end up, head is not in the door entrance we see this from bloody photos 1st shot if five feet in feed room, he travels five feet SHOT again, his feet end up in the door way. Paul has no knee abrasions so this shot is not TOP of his head. EXPERT never explains how blood got on to the right wall shared with the kennels (not the window wall) OH a massive explosion but the skull/brain remain in chunks. Have to agree with you David. For $8K I will shift the facts any way you want it explained, because I am a respected expert. My my.
You should contact the prosecution an let them know ur available to give ur expert opinion 🤣
He got paid 13000.00 to give his expert opinion $$$$$$
Almost all killers bring their own weapons and why would they bother to dispose of the weapons they used if they got them from the property. It makes absolutely no sense.🤥
Buster & the remaining lying a$$ family members, local cops & so called family friends who were at the the property should be incarcerated until the truth comes out. Everyone knows what happened.
Excellent point. Evidence tampering much????
Boy, his brother did him one heckuva a solid. Got rid of the evidence as quick as he could. Tromped evidence till it wasn't any good any more. Great heck, I didn't know what to do.
There should be a fine w/ him frolicking around the area

Expert witnesses charge a ton more than this guy is charging. That’s what is shocking me.

Wouldn't the shooter of Paul especially have the steel bird pellets hit the shooter since he was so close? Just as they flew all over that small enclosure? Did Alex not have any burns to anywhere we in his body of thes e hot pellets traveling at a very high rate of speed?? Where is any brain tissue on Akex? Any blood spatter?? Since you cannot wash off the gun shot residue esp after shooting shot guns 5 to 6 times or more since there were bullets left inside the shed thst SLED didn't think they needed...he couldn't have washed all that off unless he took a very long shower and washed with soap several times, but agsin, where is any blood or brain matter in his car? Maggie's suv, the golf cart , in his home, in his parents home?? So far there is absolutely zero blood and gun shot residue evidencec or injury from those thousands of steel pellets...this is an impossibility, if they don't come up with any forensics or blood evidence then the jury must conclude the police rushed to judgement and thought the gun was the smoking gun, but turns out, they don't even have the murder weapons...so why was he indicted?? The policenmambadmitted on the stand he LIED YO THE GRAND JURY and told them he saw blood splatter on Alex's white t shirt, he lied, clearly, why has this policeman been prosecuted?? Did the prosecution think the jury didn't really need any evidence that planting fake stories in the media would make the jury hate him and they'd convict this man without any evidence??? Hmm, seems risky, and where are the actual killers??
That is the other thing that seems very odd. If you watch the testimony from his moms caregiver. The prosecutor said the investigation was prompted after she said told an investigator that Alex came to his mom's house with a rolled up tarp with a silver rifle sticking out. She flat out said no I didn't! She said he came to the house with a blue tarp rolled up in front of him in a ball. Then the prosecutor reads the report again and said the investigator clearly wrote she said a rifle. Then cut off realizing the investigator lied in his report.
Have you checked into his rehab acquaintances???
Why didn't Paul or Maggie respond to those close shots...Whom ever got shot second should have known that those shots were too close at time of night...
Finally someone makes this observation 👍🏻
The water could be from washing the side by side after he used to in the murders.
That's what I'm thinking too !
I would think there would be blood in that water. No?
there was already water on the kennel cement before the murders.

Consider Alex, a lifelong hunter, creating a crime scene described. Moreover, by ALL accounts, a loving husband and father brutally killing his beloved.
i don’t believe he was the killer 🤷♀️
Saw this guy on The Staircase. Not believable then either.
So that girl attorney was working for the defense?
That is a very bad placement for a T-stat
Alex is innocent, Mallory Beach Her boy friend an friend did it.
Now I understand why Alex stood behind a barrier when he shot them, he's a hunter and knew he'd get bloody and messy.
So he didn't hide his clothes.
He going to walk on the murder charges...
He'll do a year and a half in a federal country club down around Panama City Florida. Playing golf learning how to weave rugs..... You know, the kind of prison that you fill out your breakfast menu and hang it on your doorknob before you turn in for the night. He'll come out with a new identity a new suit a handful of credentials and a duplex in El cajon California next to the menendez brothers...
No he's screwed. He had to admit in detail to all his financial crimes on the stand to save his ass in this murder trial so he left himself wide open to a long stint in a federal prison where you have to serve at least 85 % of the sentence. If he is found not guilty his best case scenario is a small chance he gets to taste freedom again as a very old man. I have a feeling it will be a mistrial and the state will retry the case

@karaward7212, well that is motivation to kill.
Totally agree with u on this ...an still law enforcements cannot find the actual weapons🤔
Totally agree. I’ve been saying this the whole time
He lost his money on his own trying to keep up with the lifestyle he thought he deserved (buying pills, paying people off, covering his bad deals...) He also lost "his namesake" on his own by stealing from disabled people and people who had suffered horrible losses and lying to everybody in his life. For over a decade. Every day. Paul crashing the boat was the main reason why his house of cards was about to fall. With Paul gone the pressure to open his books and get caught instantly was gone too. He had manipulated everybody in his life. But he couldn't control de boat case. Also I'm not sure how Buster still being here fits with that revenge plan of yours, or why Alex would lie about seeing them alive right before 9pm if he didn't know that was the time of death
You’re projecting too much. A jury doesn’t ruminate. They judge the facts.
I just don’t trust expert witnesses like this, who speak in such confident absolutes.
I think members of his law firm were involved in this. It would not surprise me at all. Paul was a thorn in their foot because of the boat accident. Paul was Maggie's baby and she was determined to prove his innocence with regard to the boat accident. Alex is a thief that cause the firm millions out of their pockets. One incident gets ride of three problems. Members of the firm have all have been to the property before. They are familiar with the weapons at that house and their location and they all have a motive. It amazing to me how during every incident a member of the law firm is not too far away. Even arriving before law enforcement. They are all dishonest if you ask me.
Possibly, and maybe some people want him convicted/discredited and imprisoned before the financial prosecution so he will be a far weaker opponent. What if the firm’s books were not so clean besides the problems Alex caused…? Were other attorneys in that firm and others affiliated acting dishonestly? Probably; what attorney has never overcharged a client? Alex has a lot of powerful enemies trying to put him in jail. Some are probably still calling him friend. His ex-partner’s testimony was that the firm borrowed money to repay Alex’s clients. What bank makes that kind of commercial loan? They probably hope to recover millions by seizing his real estate for starters and likely will.
A.M. looks like reality is hitting him hard. I would think he might confess and give it up.
Idk why it’s so hard to believe he used two guns. Mass shooters do it all the time
I wonder how far his duck pond is from the kennels. And i wonder if sled considered draining it. I feel like the guns most likely are in a body of water. Which there are PLENTY of around that county and surrounding
The jury's trip to Mosell will backfire on Defense. The remote, isolated environment will highlight to impossibility of a stranger lurking close enough to kennels to kill those victims within the tight timeline. Plus the dogs would have alerted family to the presence of an intruder in the woods or within the adjacent buildings when they were chasing chickens just minutes before the murders.
Not necessarily. Dogs eye vision is not so great. If the dogs are focused on Paul and Maggie playing with them killers could have set up a hide spot until Alex left. I say check Paul's text and question his buddies who knew where he was heading. Word spreads. If an angry former friend or ally of Mallory wants revenge -- well... There ya have it.
Where was the cabin? Was it near the kennels?
Even if the dogs were agitated, the two victims wouldn’t link it to an intruder. They’d assume that they’d found another chicken or were fighting among themselves. That’s the problem with having so many dogs in on3 place. They cease to be an alarm coz they’re always barking
He was appointed to or promoted to all of these positions none of which involved scientific training. When he worked at the police lab he didn't work 'with' Dr Lee he worked 'for' Dr lee much like the people who work 'for' brain surgeons are not qualified to do brain surgery he is not qualified to make this assessment.
These two experts were much more convincing in their knowledge of the crime scene than the prosecution's. Probably why the prosecutor keeps adding to his rebuttal list.. Repeat and repeat.
I agree!! I'm 75% sure he's guilty but you can't deny that these expert's were better, they knew everything in detail. It changes my percentage for sure.
@@sophieloves7092 With all due respect, how are they better? Better at articulating themselves? Better dressed? More well spoken? He is paid A LOT more! His job is simply to create doubt in at least one juror just as he has done you because he is supposedly an "expert". Unfortunately these jurors are unlikely going to be very knowlegeable of physics and probably not of guns and ballistics either.
If you have a solid grounding in both, you know as well as he does that his theory is a total hogwash, BUT IT'S a theory and that's all they care about. They paid him lots of money to say, this could happen but he's not going to tell how unlikely this would happen. It's so low it's practically impossible! Physics does NOT support this theory in any way!
Do you even know what blowback is? Do you know the physics behind it? If you do, you'd know this is total hogwash. He and the defense know it but they are banking on selling it to you with a fancy demo and words from a supposedly "expert". There is NO WAY blowback is going to lodge a pellet into wood that deep and dent metal. No way! Blowback is just the high presssure rapidly expanding gas and tissue expanding back towards the shooter where there are no obstructions. What propels the pellets? It is this rapidly expanding gas that is BEHIND it. The key word is "BEHIND". Shotgun shells are filled with pellets and behind the pellets inside the shell is a wad or a plug. This is what keeps the expanding gas behind the pellets. Blowback is just air and tissue expanding and sending particles flying back at the shooter. As the pellets leave the barrel, the air pushing it is behind, not in front of the pellet. Blow back is not a pellet rebounding or bouncing back after striking something hard like metal. The only way blowback can send a pellet back in the direction it came from is if the pellet lodged in bone or tissue and stops its forward motion, and then this rapidly tissue and gas expand back collides with these lodged pellets sending them back towards the shooter. This is possible but, but they will fly in all directions at super reduced velocities. THEY WILL NOT HAVE enough energy to embed in wood or dent metal because the expanding gas and tissue are the result of energy transfer/loss. They are allowed to expand in all directions so they lose energy rapidly. As such, there's not enough energy to launch the pellets at the velocities required to lodge them the way they are. This is only possible for pellets that came from the barrel and were accelerated by the contained gas in the barrel. Any pellet going in the opposite direction due to bloeback cannot achieve these velocities. It's physically NOT POSSIBLE! You'd have to violate the laws of physics to do so. What he is saying is hogwash and he knows it. If you were a juror, he accomplished what they paid him to do. This is all the defense has. Try to fool one unsuspecting juror...just one! AM is 100% guilty. The two shooter theory...again, BS! Anyone who handles guns knows handling two long guns is a non issue. These folks would never go around these properties without their guns so it is 100% plausible for there to be two guns or even more! The guns are there. You use what you need. Surprise Paul with shotgun at close range. Now you are low on ammo. Grab the 300 blackout for Maggie. Perfectly sensible. Senseless and tragic. 300 blackout casings found. This was Paul's goto gun. Old casings found in yard have same markings as casings at site of muder indicating they were fired from the same gun, a family gun bevause the old casings are from Paul"s 300 Blackout. How convenient for Paul"s favorite gun to be lost! If it were not, it could be proven that these casings came from this very gun. AM has the best defense money can buy. All they need to do is create doubt in one juror and they win. That's all this is...lotta noise to distract from the truth.
If Paul were shot from behind at a down angle like like the prosecutor expert said, high velocity blood splatter would be all over the concrete and there's none. Hair in the door up high and pellets lodged in the door. Pellets found in feed room. All of this says prosecution expert is correct. The shot was into the feed room not out of the feed room.
If I had to venture a guess, AM was in a cart of some sort and shot with the gun at his lap. This is a very comfotable shooting position for a shotgun. This would explain the low upward angle the defensee claims a 6'4" person couldn't shoot from. Just point and shoot from the hips. No need to shoulder it. The 300 blackout is on the cart, easily accessible. He is not carrying both guns. They likely had both on the cart. Common common practice.
Did you hear Kinsey yesterday blow up all the defense experts (paid) nonsense? Cause he did it perfectly
I have to disagree.
@@cwatson42785 why are you under the impression that the prosecution witnesses are not paid? They are actually paid a lot more than the defenses witness. And no one blew up each other's testimony, the defense had experts say one thing and the prosecution had experts that said another thing, I'm sure if the defense had the option to bring in another expert that they would contradict what was said yesterday. How how is it possible that all of these incredibly intelligent and educated people have completely different opinions!! If you were being really honest with yourself you should discount all of them, how is it even evidence? I don't think opinions have any place in a courtroom, just facts and evidence and neither of these experts have facts clearly because they wouldn't be contradicting one another. I think it's incredibly unfair to have "opinions" be considered evidence in a murder trial.
Maybe he hired someone to help him. He hired someone to shoot him or rather graze him enough in his flat tire, dark road story to promote the theory that "strangers" were after him to throw off the suspicion on himself. I don't believe for one second he intended to die. He wanted and needed the money too desperately from the two family deaths he caused. I recall him arrogantly rejecting the idea that his dogs had detected a possible intruder near the murder scene and said "nobody else was there". Doesn't that blow his own assertion that someone else killed them? Or is he trying to deny he had an accomplice? What's creepy too is his attempt to have Buster go stay there and go hunting? Was he trying for another insurance payout? He lured Maggie there so he may have tried again with Buster. Is Buster innocent or was AM. seeing it as an opportunity to silence him if he was involved.
