Bloody sweet vid legend. Hows the km3s going? I see the standard front ranger scrub is apparent. How many kms u got on these tyres bloke? Cheers
A g clamp works just as good as well to push your piston back in
Hey buddy I'm thinking bout having a crack at doin my pads in my 2013 bt50, do u have to bleed the brake system as well?
Hey Oliver!! You shouldn’t have to, just make sure you take your reservoir cap off to release the Previn the brake lines and slowly squash the piston back in the change the pads, if you do want to bleed them, there’s a few good vids on YT on how to do it yourself which I’ve watched before that are really good
@@AzventuresAustralia thanx for that mate
Good video
I wonder if they will chew the discs……
I used to use “metal king” pads
They absolutely ate brake discs
Better yes but more expensive replacing discs all the time…..
Plus squeak like hell until they are hot…..
Good one
Bro jack stands not off your trolley jack
Yeah got a bit lazy that day 🥴
So I guess bleeding the brakes isn't done these days in more modern cars......
For your safety, please..please..please, get yourself some Jack stands. You're putting your life in the hope a low cost jack that will support you 4x4.
Mate love the vids but none of this was done correctly. Someone watching will follow this and crash into someone hopefully not killing anyone.
Please tell!! I’m more than happy to learn…. I’ve done it this way a few times and had no issue
You really should machine rotors or at least measure including run out. Slides need to be greased so they don't seize and you shouldn't push pistons back without cracking the bleeder Incase you warp the master seal on the push rod. And pump pedal when done so you have a pedal when you drive off. All good you haven't had issues I've seen many people do it this way, but alot of people are not aware of potential issues.
