I know this is a year old video, but my guess to why the Radeon Card was not picked up around the 12 minute mark is the lack of a second cpu wich is responsible for those PCI slots (it supplies to pcie lanes)

Did you make brick cpu cooler?

How or where do you connect the video card?

    • @CobsTech

The onboard video uses the front and back VGA or via the IPMI (web interface) to see what it's doing. A GPU would slot into one of those 2 risers that I pulled out, however I believe a different model riser would be needed for me to do this :)

I know you like to spray them but I use the battered silvery/grey top of the server as a bragging right like a Vikings battle scar!!

What exactly do you run on all of those servers and how fast is your Internet connection there?

I mainly use my servers for learning and training with various things. They do also host a few servers for friends to play around with. The internal networking is 40Gbps, sadly the internet connection is only 24Mbps download and 8Mbps upload due to me living in a more rural area.

Taking of the CPU coolers just to look ať the thermal paste is a very bad idea. When you put the cooler back on, it will make air bubbles and hurt the cooling. Rather test it under load and monitor temperatures right away, or have a look, cleen it and reapply new paste.
