Water tastes the way it does because it's chemical makeup is different from that of your own Saliva. You hesitate momentarily before allowing yourself to assume the locus of all knowledge. Entropy crumbles as you peruse the information contained within the universe. A small library in Phoenix ceases to exist. You stumble under the weight of everythingness, Your mouth opens up to cry out, and collapses around your body before blinking you out of the spatial plane. You exist only within the fourth dimension. The fountainhead of all knowledge rolls along the ground and collides with a small dog. My head tastes sideways as spacetime is reestablished, you blink back into the corporeal world disoriented, only for me to hand you a hamburger as my body collapses under the strain of reconstitution. The universe has reasserted itself. A particular small dog is fed steak for the rest of its natural life. You die in a freak accident moments later, and your soul works at the returns desk for the Phoenix library. You disapprove. Your disapproval sends ripples through the inter-dimensional void between life and death. A small child begins to cry as he walks toward the stairway where his father stands.

As someone who is dealing with hyperacusis, I cannot thank you enough for these videos. They have done wonders in becoming more comfortable with the condition and I am happy to say that I am recovering.
Austin I was told by ENT about a year ago I may have recruitment ,some say it's similar to H. whatever..... it's a problem we have with loud noise and I used to play in rock bands,,, does this help? How long have you been listening to it ? and every day? thanks
@@andrewboyle1723 Hi Andrew. How are you doing? Hyperakusis and Recruitment are two different things. Hyperakusis is a mailfunction of a part in the brain during the hearing process. It can be retrained with white or pink nose. Recruitment is a damage of parts in your ear, often cause by loud music or simply by aging. Recruitment is the damage of parts (the inner ear hairs) which are responsible for the hearing of difference frequencies. R. can be very unpleasant as often some frequencies are heard quieter while other are too loud or distorted. This kind of damage can not be retrained but you can get help to deal with the hearing problem psychologically and hearing aids are also an option. But pink noise or white noise can not retrain physically damage. So to the other readers: please make sure what kind of illness you have before you train with pink or white noise. I'm so glad I found this video. I really can't stand the sound of people eating so I usually eat dinner by myself, but I have this playing through my earbuds and I'm eating dinner with my family! all the sounds that make me anxious are blocked out but the conversation still comes through! thank goodness!
OMG I am the same way! I also loathe hearing other people breathe loud, snore, etc...my dad is the worst. Over 25 years ago, I was desperate to drown out his horrible snoring and finally discovered the box fan. Back then I was the only one I knew that did that and everyone thought I was weird, but now everyone uses white noise...I love your idea of white noise in earbuds while at dinner, I am absolutely going to do that! 😎
This is great. It sounds like rain or a waterfall. So many times I've gone to nature sound videos to get rain sounds but then a bird shriek or a horrible gong or something else will give me a heart attack. I've suffered from sound sensitivity all my life, it's gotten a lot worse with chronic illness added to my life. I appreciate this, thanks!

i wanna thank dalesnale for this assortment of noises. i've been suffering from tinnitus for 2 months now and it's been driving me crazy, it's like this high pitched continuous beep inside my head that won't stop, but listening to any of the noises on this channel really helps mask this tinnitus (though the effect lasts only as long as you're listening to the noise), but it's helped keep some of my sanity. so thank you once more.
I'm here because I happened to mention my tinnitus to a kind aquaintance who recommeded this. I already feel so the calm even feeling in my body. I have had severe tinnitus for ten years and since then have been learning to cope with the effects on my body. Thank you!
Beautiful to find a nice and long video clip of pink noise. This is my preferred 'go-to' for tinnitus therapy. Absolutely does my damaged hearing a world of good each night. Thanks.
This is great. Masks my misophonia triggers like a charm, no more rage and frustration when I have to share space with other people and their weird noises.
I really like pink noise as it sounds a lot like a waterfall and really helps me to get a good nights rest. I've been trying different ambient sounds like the spaceships on another channel but found pink noise is best for me so far. A couple of nights ago I went to bed with no ambient sound from my PC speakers and woke up feeling as if I hardly had any rest at all. Just bleh (if you know what I mean). Then last night I put on the pink noise and woke up feeling quite rested like I used too when I was a lot younger (I'm 63). Now I'm running this one and I picture in my minds eye a beautiful waterfall and I just know it's going to be another good nights rest. Thanks.
That's awesome. Here is a video where many noise colors are combined for those that wish to experience this sound: ruclips.net/video/lOwa2fmbjWQ/видео.html
I've tried white noise and found it rather irritating. I couldn't sleep with this going either but I really loved listening to it. I could almost imagine I was camping near a stream in the lake District. I had to turn it off before I slept but I had a full 8 hours of unbroken sleep afterwards. Will repeat the experiment tonight.
Great tune, it's my favorite combination of frequencies. It's so beautiful that I shed a tear every damn time I hear it. I'm clearly an audiophile and I can't stand some of the hate comments I read below. Stop hating on this video I don't want to read your stupid comments every damn time I listen to this wonderful tune. Thanks for uploading!
+Bermrad Gaming For sure. All the tear-jerking noisy frequencies are present. Glad you encountered the channel during your sonic noisy wanderlust. Love all the people's humor, love and confusion comments. Time for a remix: ruclips.net/video/Gnwq6VLoUVU/видео.html
+dalesnale well its still good, I'm just saying RUclips isn't capable of that level of sound reproduction.... I find my self here a lot still... no offence to you sir..
I can't believe I've got a 'favourite' RUclips video of pink noise, but they're not all the same! I love this one. Very good for blocking out background noise.
it makes my tinnitus kinda better i still hear the ringing a bit but not as loud i couldnt ever go to sleep like this i would need an actual heavy thunderstorm but this is helpful if im super desperate or suffering at night
Noise has been added to office sound systems at low volume to help with this very thing. It was popular in the fax machine, dial-up, dot matrix printer days. Those machines are gone, but that one loud guy in the office carries on.
thanks to your video, I can finally find sleep by forgetting the permanent tinnitus that has invaded my ears and my life for some time now. thank you so much for this.
OK. I am really thankful for this. this exact frequency is the only thing that helps with my tinnitus. it's usually tolerable, but once in a while it becomes overbearing, which is especially bad when I need to go to sleep. this pink noise is the only type of masking that is a frequency capable of counteracting/negating my ringing. sure it only lasts while its near my ears, but that's plenty for me. God bless.
Victor Lourenço there is a therapy which consists of broadband noises, mostly pink noise, to retrain the ears and regain a bit of tolerance. unfortunately there is no such thing in my country so i tried to do it myself. that aside, i know how tough it is to live with this thing so best wishes to you
This is the best video on RUclips, really more useful than lots of the others. I use it to burn in my headphones, to set up my electric guitar sound for fitting the mix and for relaxation. Really lots of uses for this shit man, I like it !
I got my ringing in ear (tinnitus) in 2014 after a Slayer gig. Recently got a spike in ringing playing my bass in a lockdown jam session with some friends. This really helped me sleep for last one week!! My ringing mellowed down a bit also. Never knew pink noise is so soothing....its like white noise with low bass rumbles. God bless you @dalesnale , thanks a lot man.
Thanks ID. My ears feeling better not working as a live sound engineer the past year, with a few loud sessions and rehearsals. Sometimes noise is soothing and blocks or even interrupts the ringing, which the brain sometimes leaves on 'auto-complete' well after a loud environment has subsided. (At least that's one contemporary neurological theory of what's going on with tinnitus)
Thank you for this! I know it is goofy to those of you who don't have weird ear issues but for those of us who do, thanks! The rest of you should feel lucky.
Thank you for the sound!! I've been wearing earplugs since the age of 19. My hearing is better than the average person, hence the need for earplugs. Noise gets me irritated. Now I want to stop wearing earplugs cause it also hurts my ears. With this sound I managed to get used to the noise. I even sleep listening to this video. I wasn't able to do that in the beginning. I'm definitely improving!! Thank you again!!!
My whole family listens to this at night. When you sleep it drowns everything. So much, I was running down the hallway and slipped right before my baby brothers room and made a loud caboom like thunder, he didn't even wake up. don't mind my grammar.
That was back in the day. Here as a 4K version ruclips.net/video/OS931VC09Ww/видео.html and a dark screen version ruclips.net/video/8SHf6wmX5MU/видео.html Thanks for listening.
I'm a kid and I listen to it (even if it's a little (a lot) disturbing this sound) and even if I've listened to other things, I don't know what you have against the current music we listen to
For the last few months this has put me to sleep, and I have dreamt all night to this almost every night. Thank you very much. I must add I love all of your color videos. The sensations and other noises that arise when laying and listening deeply for a long period of time...... pretty neat
+Stephanie White I put my speakers very close together, facing each other and wired one of them in reverse. I can clearly hear Van Halen or something under the pink noise.
Stephanie White lol, I think its to do with the way pinknoise is created, i.e. all kinds of music overlaid and overlaid until it becomes indecipherable. I could certainly pick out some heavy metal playong in the first hour then later I could hear something like classic ballads, I would like to point out however, I have not been prescibed nor am I taking any psychotropic medication. ☺

So this is one of the main reasons I created it. After recording sessions, I like to listen to non-music and cleanse the listening palette.

This does help to drown out my tinnitus at night. I usually use a fan, but this is good, and great if you go somewhere there isnt a fan!
same here:)

Sorry -don't get you here?
Beautiful to find a nice and long video clip of pink noise. This is my preferred 'go-to' for tinnitus therapy. Absolutely does my damaged hearing a world of good each night. Thanks.
After years of comments like yours, I made some tinnitus specific noise maskers found here: ruclips.net/p/PLHT0KXyNdGc5Aluur6R82OIdW9DB6E-gf
This is great. Masks my misophonia triggers like a charm, no more rage and frustration when I have to share space with other people and their weird noises.

eyy a fellow misophoniac
Thanks.
Tried Aphex Twin?
thank you.. i’m actually serious i suffer from severe misophonia and this helped calm me and fall asleep..
Listening to every singled coloured noise at once. It is actually great for studying, blocks out all sound, and is relaxing.
Wow! The only thing that cured my insomnia. Thank you!
+Bermrad Gaming So emotional, so intense!
+Bermrad Gaming For sure. All the tear-jerking noisy frequencies are present. Glad you encountered the channel during your sonic noisy wanderlust. Love all the people's humor, love and confusion comments. Time for a remix: ruclips.net/video/Gnwq6VLoUVU/видео.html
said, no audiophile ever..... youtube has crap quality sound, if you think this is audiophile grade then you sir or madam need to do more research.
+dalesnale well its still good, I'm just saying RUclips isn't capable of that level of sound reproduction.... I find my self here a lot still... no offence to you sir..
You Tube isn't the best sound quality, but it allows the longest delivery times in the history of audio.
This is nice. White noise doesn't drown out my tinnitus at all but this does.
Better music than anything made in the last 15 years.

We all listen to noise in our surroundings everyday, but are not always aware of it.
dalesnale that's true, it kinda sounds like heavy rain.
@@seangilmore355 damn sean gilmore 7 months ago you knew what was up. Sounds like the language of superintelligent insectoid aliens.
I'm crying right now, thank you
this helps to mask annoying sounds in the environment. thanks
I just discovered the concept of pink noise... And i am in love❤️
Welcome to the noise.
Really helps with tinnitus. Thank you.
Thanks for listening.
I can't believe I've got a 'favourite' RUclips video of pink noise, but they're not all the same! I love this one. Very good for blocking out background noise.
I put these noises together in the studio as if I was crafting a music album using the same gear. That is the difference. Thanks for listening
This really helps my tinnitus! Thank you 🙏🏼

it makes my tinnitus kinda better i still hear the ringing a bit but not as loud i couldnt ever go to sleep like this i would need an actual heavy thunderstorm but this is helpful if im super desperate or suffering at night
Finally got my 6-month old to calm down! Thank you!!
Sounds too good, the marvellous melody and groovy sounding, best disco music I've ever heard. Thanks for sharing🙏
Been rocking a bit of disco recently.

Listened to this everyday to help me revise for my A levels- thank you so much!
Pink noise is great cause helps you during mixing and mastering sessions, to relax your hear for a while! Very great!
So true, the ultimate reset for mixing sessions.
I’ve been using this to sleep every night for the past 3 days and I’ve been way more productive lately
This thing works.. according to my sleep tracker the deep sleep phase improved from 1st night of listening to this, which is amazing THANK YOU
This is perfect for those who are back at the office and want to avoid the noise of hundreds of people in zoom meetings all the time.
God bless.
Did you tinnitus get better?
really hope this works on my hyperacusis, cheers for the upload
Hope it helps!
Ricardo Carmine any luck ?? !!
Cajun Spice tbh no, i think it got worse
I have hyperacusis, and the only thing this is good for is drowning out other sounds, but it doesn't do anything for my hyperacusis.
Victor Lourenço there is a therapy which consists of broadband noises, mostly pink noise, to retrain the ears and regain a bit of tolerance. unfortunately there is no such thing in my country so i tried to do it myself.
that aside, i know how tough it is to live with this thing so best wishes to you
Thanks!
Very appreciative of the Super Thanks Luce. Thanks for listening to Pink Noise Ambient. 🎧
I use this when I'm writing, it's the only thing that'll help me concentrate! Music is too distracting but so is complete silence.
There is a magic to listening to noise compared to attention grabbing music.
This is the best video on RUclips, really more useful than lots of the others. I use it to burn in my headphones, to set up my electric guitar sound for fitting the mix and for relaxation. Really lots of uses for this shit man, I like it !
Lots of thanks to the many uses for the noise!
The rest of you should feel lucky.
lncarnold it’s helping my finally get over hyperacusis.
@@tokenblack7983 how is your hyperacusis now? I'm really struggling with it myself right now, could you get over it with this video?

Have now been using this for a year as a noise blocker. I prefer it to all the others I've tried. A big improvement on white noise. Thanks.
wait till 1:43:12 its the best part.
Oh yeah, the part with the waterfall sound...love that section....
Its the best video to clear water from your phone's speakers after a heavy rainfall. 👌
Fascinating application of the noise. 😎

Thanks for this Dale. I listen to it every day in a shared office.
My whole family listens to this at night. When you sleep it drowns everything. So much, I was running down the hallway and slipped right before my baby brothers room and made a loud caboom like thunder, he didn't even wake up. don't mind my grammar.
That's cool Kelicie. Thanks for listening and commenting.

I know. The audio sucks at this resolution. Dammit...
I get recommended all the coloured noises now! Pink noise, brown noise and white noise, the whole family!
This is a hundred times better than the current music kids are listening.
Haha! RUclips has broadened the scope of creations we can listen to and enjoy.
I'm a kid and I listen to it (even if it's a little (a lot) disturbing this sound) and even if I've listened to other things, I don't know what you have against the current music we listen to
If you play this through a soundbar up at full volume it's almost as loud as a Ps4 Pro running digital copies
This comes in handy quite a bit during the week... Thank you for posting!

is it just me? or does any1 else swear they hear birds chirping and singing in the background? just every so often, or actually quite often.
+Stephanie White Aaaannndddd, now I can't unhear it....
Swerve lol!!
+Stephanie White I put my speakers very close together, facing each other and wired one of them in reverse. I can clearly hear Van Halen or something under the pink noise.
Mark Paul Jordan well that's crazy..... is this where I should make the "illuminati confirmed" joke?
Stephanie White lol, I think its to do with the way pinknoise is created, i.e. all kinds of music overlaid and overlaid until it becomes indecipherable. I could certainly pick out some heavy metal playong in the first hour then later I could hear something like classic ballads, I would like to point out however, I have not been prescibed nor am I taking any psychotropic medication. ☺
