I can't believe how soothing this is on my overly sensitive, ringing ears. I had no idea pink noise was even a thing and happened to read an article in my search for tinnitus relief. Thank you!!
I don't know what it is about Pink noise but man it relaxes me completely. The sweeping in infrequence puts me to sleep faster than any other and I have chronic insomnia. I have to check if you have others. Thanks for putting this on here and for all other sleep noises.
This gave me my sleep back after my tinnitus started around 4 months ago. Thank you so much, may your life be filled with happiness and good things, if it wasn't for this I don't know where I would be. I've been using this for over 3 months now, it does wonders :)
Been suffering off and on from stupid twitches in my eardrum for nearly 25 years. No help from doctors. Saw a "pink noise" suggestion on a health forum...and it worked! The twitching in my eardrum stopped for the first time without having to just suffer until it stops after sleeping. YAY YAY YAY!!! Amazing stuff!!!! Thank you so very much!!!
+matrox it's when a muscle in your inner ear has a spasm or a "twitch" just like your eyelid or a muscle does from time to time. It's a repeated, light muscle spasm that contracts and releases over and over and over. It's super annoying because you can't really do anything to relieve it, and it amplifies because of the nature of it being right next to your eardrum.
Wow, i didnt know you pinned this! I used this and other pinks to get thru a surprisingly traumatic misophonia event (mega construction site opened next door to my previously quiet apartment...) The only way i endured it was to blast this stuff as loud as possible...maybe gave myself a little tinnitus in the process but i'd rather experience that than the auditory torture that is misophonia.
That's great! I set the frequency by what felt hypnotic. Caught myself spacing out to it after 20 minutes without adjustment and figured it was done...
Okay, yes I agree. I listened to the other pink noise videos and they are relaxing with the constant sound, but this has that cycling effect that really takes it to another level. Very relaxing.
I have hyperacusis; I was in a bad mood to being with this morning, then my old man came out and started eating breakfast, striking the cereal bowl with his spoon LOUDLY every second for about 3 minutes, I got a migraine and a lot of tension in my neck that fast. I started this video up with my therapy-sensitive headphones, the tension is gone by the 5min mark. THANK YOU dalesnale, not even my expensive therapy CD's give me this relief so fast.
I'm not having difficulties with my sleep so i tried to sleep with this sound and see what will happen. I had the most realistic dreams ever. No lies. It was sooooo weird. I'm trying this again tonight to see if it will happen again.
this pretty much saved my life, construction workers decided to get things done on the eve of a major examination and this really helped drown out all the noise. Thanks!
This put me out like a light. I've been using a steady state pink noise video to sleep, but this sweeping method made me actually feel relaxed instead of just sleepy. And it didnt take as long! Crazy cool; feeling refreshed! Thx for posting vid!
I have problems with noises that give me jumpscares like dog barks and such, so I figured I should finally try (probably the only solution out there) to get my life back on track and break down my obstacles :).
I honestly don't know how to thank you, fully...other than to express all the appreciation, or gratitude that I can muster at the moment.... This is and others which are more or less like this, [this one has become one of my favorites] are just about the best thing on YT.... Thank You!!....
I listen to this all the time. This gets me to sleep and got me and my bf knocked out for the night. Usually my bf is very restless at night. Last night he didnt move at all. We paired this with the sound of our fan so it could blend the sound. It was totally amazing. The best sleep ive had in months. Thank you for this.
This is amazing ! It has drowned out the ferocious low frequency noise which has crept into my home ...when nothing else could . I am now sleeping back inside my home as it got so bad I was sleeping in my car ! Thank you so much!!! . and I can concentrate again !! 😀 ❤
Oh man, this definitely has an effect that makes me immediately relax and want to go to sleep. I actually like this noise better than the "natural" ones that are supposed to be soothing.
I tested it sleeping before posting and sleep to it on occasion. But mostly I use this one when I want to space out or meditate. This particular wave cycle I found myself just listening to over and over and forgetting the outside audio environ. I feel great after a night with Gey Noise or Pacific Ocean Ambiance. Sweeping Grey Noise will be posted soon! Thanks
Visualization, Cognitive Behavioral therapy techniques, and a solid hobby. I like to have different hobbies, like ones I can do that aren't too hard (drawing, writing, photography) and ones I can do that make me use my whole body and mind (jogging, horse riding). When my anxiety attacks start, I excuse myself and go sprint as hard as I can outside til I can't, sorta like hitting the restart. Being healthy is key, be sure to check up on your allergies, hormones, and nutrition. I hope this helps!
Great definition! That said, the randomness is limited by our computer digital noise generator processing capabilities in most cases. The unpredictability is well beyond the humans ability to discern the non-randomness in these noise samples. All my Ten Hour Noise clips are continuous, never looped, therefore unique at any given moment.
I found that getting woken up at 4:30am, mid-video, by some stupid-ass 5-minute mini-movie commercial for some stupid-ass Adobe product was less than relaxing. Way to go RUclips!
Mid roll adds are not selected ever in these vids, though this is the second comment Ive' heard about this. Gonna have to research the YT mid-sleep cruelty! Thanks for the heads up!
dalesnale "A host of dynamic signals, including content type and how a user discovered the video, help determine the best time to serve an in-stream ad." From YT. Crap it's out of our control
This happened to me too last night. One solution is to download the audio from Electric Canyon. and play it off the computer sans streaming. Most the audio colors are available. Maybe this will shake out for the ambient sound niche somehow...
God, I hope this helps. White noise keeps me sleeping. (Lots of post-radiation ailments involving a compromised immune system. Desperate for relief, true rest.) No noise, well, makes me hear or think of unpleasantries. This one, I'm just starting up. Much better than the 1st search result. thanks for sharing! I 1st saw it on Dr. Oz. (I see you wrote that violet is close. This is all worth trying, for sure. I'm going to share wherever I can. I'm anxious to learn about these noises that help.)
The sweeping component adds a pleasant slow wave. Noise encountered in nature is not as uniform or 'static' (no pun intended) as white noise, pink, grey, violet etc. Thanks for sharing and I hope you feel relief.
I really appreciate your comments -thank you! Tonight, will be an ultimate test. The most unhealthy, then upside down Christmastime ever. One I pray not to repeat, nor to wish this feeling on anybody. Pink Noise so your thing,.. again. (Hoping, feeling confident)
please make a video and combine ..Pink sweeping noise and Boeing 777 cabin noise together at the same time for ten hours.. That would be the ultimate for me
Some use music to burn in. Pink is full spectrum all the time. Sweeping Pink Noise has a shifting of the midrange frequencies about once a minute. That's not as random as music so it couldn't hurt and may just be the thing.

Hi there, i have been looking for ways to control my anxiety. So audio therapy is working out for you. Cool. Besides this track, what else do you recommend? Cheers!
+Jibran Khalil . While this is often true, there is in fact a noticeable "burn-in" of tube equipment. New speakers often mellow out over the first 100 hours of play. Burn-in is a controversial subject at best. Remember that there are things in electronics that can be measured yet not heard, and conversely things that can be heard but not measured.

Say, building a cell phone system, or an ultrasound machine, come from trying to extract a desired information 'signal' from a background of unwanted 'noise'. In general, 'noise' can refer to anything that interferes with what we want: it might be a single voice of someone sitting next to us in a movie, but the 'purest' form of noise comes from a totally random source.
