Pink Noise Ten Hours - The Classic Now in Dark Screen

  • Here it is, Pink Noise Ten Hours, the classic, rendered with a higher audio stream rate and dark screen as requested by listeners. Pink Noise has been listened to as a restful sleep sound, to mask loud sounds, to help study or concentrate, ear fatigue relief like tinnitus, headphone burn-in, or as a background listen to something so basic and minimalist, the mind can focus on other tasks.
Pink Noise is related to White Noise, the difference being increased low frequencies (bass) which makes it sound more even and pleasing to the listener, like ocean waves or a big waterfall.
Let's not get too deep. This is entertainment after all.
The creation process involved a DAW (digital audio workstation), ProTools. A audio synthesizer plug-in was utilized for a new and improved sound to create noise which is then equalized to represent the audio spectrum responses of pink noise as defined by the broadcast industry in the early-mid 20th Century. The audio is recorded from the generator for 10 hours and then exported into a video editing program, Magix Vegas. A corresponding video is created with custom graphics I made in the video program. The visual is animated eventually dimming, then married to the audio and rendered out to the full length final video.
More information regrading Pink Noise can be found in the explanation video below or on Wikipedia

Not diagnosed with any form of adhd, but I've had some real issues for few years now (most likely self caused by consuming too much social media etc... life nowadays).

The purpose of listening to pink noise is to block out all the external noise that our world produces. To some it may be noise, but when you have 3 kids running around the house all day screaming and crying without stop, a TV in the background playing kids cartoons on repeat, this is no longer noise, but a waterfall of bliss to my ears and extremely soothing to my brain. Wow I can actually think now, and get some work done. Thanks.

I guess the clock is the nicest comfort in my room. I can’t sleep without it ticking, or at least it makes it a lot harder to sleep. The only issue is that it doesn’t mask other noises e.g. the boiler clock (even though it’s really, really quiet) ticking, and other stranger noises from outside. Now that it’s summer I’ve got an excuse to set up the table fan, which is great as that masks every noise except for the clock, so the combination of the two really works quite well for me

@Sophie Griffin Back again! 😂 After looking up weighted blankets, I’ve found it hard to work out what to get for my weight. The issue is my weight goes up and down quite often so between 9-11 stone (126 - 154 pounds) so what blanket would you recommend for me? I’d appreciate the advice! I’ve found a lot of them are quite expensive as well, I guess if I look at it as an investment given I will have it for a long time then I can see why it’s worth it. I find my issue is getting to sleep…I should be able to go after 10pm easy, I have busy days with a toddler. But once the even hits, my anxiety does get worse and I stay up to get ‘My time’ but I know I need more than 3 hours sleep to function. I need to cut out sugar fizzy drinks too! A weighted blanket would help with feeling more relaxed though!

Just now I text this as my little one is sleeping in my arms. Pink noise matches our hearing because we are most sensitive to mid freq. in the range 1,5k-3k-5k because that is the place where human voice is placed. Thats what you hear when you talk on the telephone. The reason why we hear it like that is because evolution made us to hear whenever needed. Someone screams in the jungle looking for help, you will hear it. Music bangs in the club full volume..you will hear the human voices talking in background no matter how strong music is. Pink noise matches that hearing and often, sounds natural to us.

I've recently decided to quit weed, I'm 30 started when I was 15 and have always loved loud music and video games (most notably Skyrim with immersive music) I haven't even quit properly yet but I've stopped smoking in the day entirely for the past week and cut down massively. Somewhere along the line I thought my ears needed popping so I tried for days with no luck until I googled weed and ringing ears and found out it was Tinnitus. Then when I think about it I did hear ringing when I was always stoned but it was more like waves or a heartbeat than ringing and didn't bother me really. Anyway It's only mild ringing and a few crackles and pops so I'm hoping it goes away soon at least when I cut the weed completely but for now this is very soothing after a long sober day and maybe the last couple of joints I ever smoke. Took me far too long to quit but even with this unforeseen circumstance I already feel better for doing it. Hope it helps somebody out there. Peace

      @paintsplash805 6 лет назад +13

Thanks again, I'm single which is one of the reason's I quit but I have a 12 year old son who's been keeping me busy and happy (thank god!) while he's on summer holidays. He's been jogging with me and I live near Blackpool England (Fleetwood to be precise) and so I'm blessed with a promenade sea front walk and lots to do, Blackpool has a big theme park which we went to the other day and we're keeping busy, I could do with a change of scenery but I'm also rediscovering the one I already had which is nice. I'm getting towards two weeks now which is when your supposed to start feeling better so I'm staying positive and not being tempted. I will google the healing crisis as well so thanks again.

Try a weighted blanket- you can get one here - marceoutlet is the seller name on eBay - I buy my 600 thread count and down luxury bedding here at LEAST twice a year - she auctions Macy bedding returns or overstock etc (not used stuff - brand new and expensive stuff) I got a 15 lb Serta with the glass beads and cover but they start at 9.99 and they sell pretty low usually- the shipping is the expensive part but $15 is avg & they say 15 is avg but say a man needs a 20 lb one - scored mine for 11.11 lol and it’s the best thing ever- the feet take time to get used to but it’s not hot and it’s like a hug all over - a weightless feeling- I LOVE MINE (no not affiliated with the seller just trust her and have been buying from her for years- INSANE deals really should not be telling everyone lolol

This always calms my 4 week old every single time she cries & always helps her to sleep since she's cluster feeding, so that I can get some sleep myself (currently typing at 5:48am) 🤣

I really appreciate your work Dale. I've seen other channels on RUclips who sell their noises... and monetize those videos with things like 8 minute advertisements... Really ruins the experience! Keep on keepin' on.

Thanks. I create the noise ambience with the same love and care I would making a music album or movie soundtrack. I sometimes laugh at the irony of truly minimalistic content being so appreciated in the comments. My musical colleagues don't get it (or RUclips for that matter) and poke fun at me. That's okay because I believed these niche creations would find grateful listeners worldwide. And yes never a mid-stream add in any channel videos. Keep on listening. Dale

@@dalesnale this is supposed to help Targeted folks being hit with ultrasound and other frequency type weapons- another is controlled breathing I heard but have not looked into it and most guided meditations I have to breathe a certain way just drive me batty lol I’m more sapien Dream Seeds and Dr V7- joe T I think it is has some intense stuff and the hemi sync stuff is something I am looking into after reading the cia document I realized THIS is what they have been doing to me - I am rh neg and these bastards have been on me in one way or the other since I was born - my childhood was FREAKISHLY similar to Corey Goodes story so much to put together but I know I was born with memories of past childhoods and told my mom at age six or so that the earth was just a big experiment-like a big snow globe that God could just shake up when he felt like it- as an mk monarch kid I was of course promptly slapped across the face and spent the day in isolation- but look MA - I WAS telling the truth lol

was laying in bed now, with this constant swishing sound persistent in my ears, as if a swarm of crickets and sun-beetles have been set loose and I was thinking to myself “if this is not going to go away, why don’t I just go with it? “ I started to focus on it as much as possible. At first I thought I was going to go mad, when I noticed something different in my life. I started to pay more attention of what was happening in the moment. I started to understand people’s reactions better. I started to become more aware of my presence and value. It is af if this “affliction” humbled me. Can you call tinnitus a “disability” ? I don’t know, however somehow this constant sound is grounding me. The masking that Dalesnale is providing is wonderful. I can’t help but recognise that these sounds are not just masking my tinnitus, but also bringing me into a deep meditative state. No, I have not smoked anything, if you were wondering. I was just thinking, we are trying so hard to “stop” it but what if Dalesnale knew he opened up a door to a some sort of spiritual enlightenment? I don’t want to go all ‘whoohaa’ here, but I think there is something here that is more than just meets the “ear”.

This one genuinely helped my tinnitus. It helped distract my brain enough that even when I turned it off, it was not as intense anymore
