    I think I'm going to make sure I finish the body of my 1300GT Junior before I go building up the 1750 motor to go in it. I'm not sure I could stand having such a nicely built (and well presented) motor sitting there, waiting for a home! Great work, and thanks for sharing!

      youremostwelcome Yeah it is definitely painful to just see the engine sitting there. It’s also good motivation to keep going on the rest of the car. Hopefully by time the metalwork on the body of the car is done and it’s painted we will have all the other parts ready to go back on and it will just be a quick assembly. Then again it’s an Alfa....

    I have one of these! It's in a pretty rust free Spider. It has a timing problem so I need to crack it open, but I'm kind of thinking of doing a rebuild since it has 130,000 miles on it.
    Did you use a guide for taking apart your engine? If so, which one? I have a general Haynes manual but I'm worried about it not being specific enough.
