    Nothing really "hood" about it... We all work together in Shreveport a melting pot of families just trying to make it and live free without being exploited or messed with. 318!

    Mayor Perkins' office in Shreveport has ignored and refused to help in any way since he took office.
    URGENT: Authorities aren't helping. Patients are denied a grievance process by L.S.U. hospital so abusive staff & medical malpractice incur zero liability. L.S.U. University Police officer Gabe (260lbs. BLK/M) was seen in an elderly woman's section of the emergency room. He closed her curtain & she cried out, "please stop putting that in me" numerous times. His brutality causes patients severe pain. He closes the curtain in emergency room sections while alone with victims. Twisting the arm behind the back... he bends the hand back to where it almost snaps at the wrist. He lays on his victim while pushing the bent hand up to the shoulder blades. He says disgusting things & taunts his victims. Strangulation of restrained patients has been witnessed by a staff member who's willing to testify in court about it... Mayor Adrian Perkins was told of patient abuse every way & he still ignores it. Please help. Ochsner won't help with the L.S.U. abuse. They redirected me with a fake number then a phone number of a department that had an answering machine. They did not call me back. Ochsner will not discuss hospital police gang brutality that is sadistic. Ochsner blocks people expressing public outcry on social media. Abuse of the elderly, impoverished, mentally ill, disabled, etc. is terrible. The news media won't communicate. This has been documented with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, phone, & email. www.change.org/p/governor-bobby-jindal-louisiana-secretary-kathleen-sebelius-hhs-stop-patient-abuse-and-cover-up-at-lsu-health-sciences-center-shreveport-12bbe945-b759-4e98-950a-bfc0d6689619aaa IGNORING CITIZEN OUTCRY IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

    Shreveport used to be a lot nicer back in the 1980s and 1990s the homes were very well kept no matter how poor the people may have been but now things seem to be very dilapidated an unkept. The problem with Shreveport it's like me at the people receive the college degrees they move away and the other people don't alot of the people didn't go to college stayed in Shreveport. The average income in Shreveport is very low I think only $29,000 a year. The great fleight from Shreveport caused Shreveport not to be a thriving city anymore.

    I am out here visting shreveport, and i have vistied every hood out here shout out to queensboro...i must say there are some well kept homes in every hood out here...there are some beautiful places out here...The highland area is my fav all those beautiful Victorian styled homes...it is so green out here, some of the trees and flowers that grow out here smell so amazing...the summers out here remind me of my summers in the 90's growing up, if you can find you the right spot out here, you can fall in love with nature, it so green and we all know green can open that heart chakra... Even though i am Texas 🌟...Louisiana is a beautiful state

    I have never been to Louisiana ever, but I have been to hood, and this is not it. People mowing their lawns, weedwacking, almost all the homes occupied, kids actually playing in the street, and actually moving out of the way for cars to pass respectfully, families walking around, people not only have garbage cans, but actually use them, and obviously take pride in their homes...this is not a hood, seems like a working class place to me...again, I do not know Louisiana, but this drive through screams more wholesome than lacking to me

    That’s because Shreveport is over 90 percent black. They came from the surrounding countryside to make a living in the big city. That is what me and thousands more like me did, but I did not stay. I left and went into the service. When Ma Bell, closed, oil companies left and went next door and plants like GM closes down. It was past time to leave.

    • @bustercherry9643
      @bustercherry9643 6 лет назад +3

      Try the Tri-Cities area of Tennessee. Kingsport, Johnson City and Bristol. Of the three, Johnson City has largest black population and it's only around 10%. Kingsport has a paper mill and a chemical plant so you might want to buy a gas mask before moving there. Bristol is split between the states of Tennessee and Virginia. In the old days the majority of the blacks lived on the Virginia side but that's changed in recent years. One negative about the Tri-Cities is that while it doesn't have many blacks it does have a lot of poor white neighborhoods. Take that into consideration too.
