In some cases you might not be able to save him, so the best you can do is to give him a honored dead before he loses his mind...

To my knowledge, you can't get all the NPC's there at once. OnionBro meets you at Firelink once you chat with him in Anor Londo, and by then Lautrec has long since left Firelink. Also, if Patches is there as a merchant, then the clerics should be down in the Tomb of the Giants/already dead. More likely this was set up on PC for the purpose of this video.

The thing about Dark souls is i enjoy being summoned to help others more than i do actually going through the game, i like helping others more than helping myself.
All the NPC's should cooperate to take down Lord Gwyn. Even Ornstein and Smough would get obliterated by those guys.
What amazes me is the sheer stupidity of the people who don't realize that you can banish an unhelpful phantom. Also, the sad faces on the PMs made me feel bad for these guys. :(

Just attack everyone before they leave firelink. Unfortunately Domhnall of Zena fell off the ledge while being mad.
After seeing the end of the video, it’s kinda sad for me to think about, I had everyone there, then I lost them all. I indirectly made Firelink a thriving community by bringing in new people, then the Way of White clerics got tricked by Patches, whom I unfortunately had to kill because I accidentally selected ‘yes’, I killed Petrus for abandoning Rhea, I killed Lautrec back in Anor Londo, the crestfallen warrior went hollow in New Londo, Logan went to the Duke’s Archives and went insane, Siegmeyer and Sieglinde went to Ash Lake, where ‘Meyer hollowed and ‘Linde just disappeared, Laurentius hollowed in Blighttown, the only people who are left are Griggs, Anastacia, and surprisingly, Rhea.

NOT an a$$hole. Even if I would undoubtedly bitch about this happening to me, there should be way more of this. Why? Because of the new layer it adds. For example, If every soapstone message was beneficial, there wouldn't be any risk to following instructions. It wouldn't elicit any apprehension if at first the message seems to be dangerous. You would just do it and collect the lootz. This video's behavior will keep any host second-guessing thereafter. And that is something most people won't feel. The anxiety. In a supposedly safe place of cooperation. The community should be thanking you and following your lead.
