Ye, it's kinda really bad form to do what this person does here. Especially when they attack people who decide to hang out along with them instead of outright killing them. This is the kind of behaviour that leads to a playerbase becoming more toxic over time.
Delacorvix you do realise that mad dark spirits are usually purple meaning the mad dark spirit in the video was wearing a ring to disguise him as a friendly spirit so he probably had bad intentions in mind and he was probably trying to fool the host.
I have tried this so many times. Even so far as to kill an npc and take there spot where they usually stand with other NPC’s around. No one ever falls for it and just immediately attacks me. 🤷♂️
probably because only the host can see npc's otherwise you see a ghost, so any summons will know its you if they arn't ignorant. and alot of hosts will be smart enough to know the npc shouldnt be there

Cathedral Ward me and my friend would kill the two NPC hunters to the right then take their positions (Convenient since they despawn instantly and leave no trace) then wait. The number of people who ran past us not trying to lock on at any time and probably ran through the entirety of Cathedral Ward before just using a silencing blank to leave XD Or Byrgenwerth, Host hiding in the upper levels while Summon acts like the NPC Hunter there. The number of people who didn't think it was odd that the host appearently passed the NPC Humter but said NPC is still in their default position IN FRONT OF AN OPEN CHEST XD
Tiny Fire Cat From Space if ever he attacked the invader it could also attack the npc as well. Thats why others use phantoms cause they can see npcs are transparent

the visual effect of Lloyds sword ring overrides the visual effect of Tears of Denial and whenever the effect goes away the tear effect comes back with that "glow" (and sound effect), so he just kept spamming the ring on/off to make it look like he is hacking and that made host DC because of the softban possibility. (getting hit by a hacked weapon can be enough to get you a warning sometimes, i know that from experience)
It wasn't technically his fault. I mean anri was attacked by the hosts and his mates when trying to kill Krazy. He could've opened up with a thrust attack as to not hit anri and baited him or sumthin

There is NEVER EVER a moment where you are forced to risk hitting an npc.... well unless you are a cretin who dragged a whole 'train of enemies' behind him.... then yeah you have nowhere to retreat.

That said though, I've run I to a lot of "nice" hackers recently, they join your world, give everyone max health, endurance, and FP, along with blazing weapon, and tears of denial, and then leave.... It's super weird.
