      Thanks LF! In fact, I just got a replacement because the one in my video wouldn't sync up with my mobile phone or iPad so I couldn't tell whether it was in focus or not. Also, the battery stopped charging after just having it for about 8 months. We'll see how this new unit works out, but I may have a follow-up to this video. Thanks again for watching my friend!

    Dear Sir -- Great video! Thank you for making it. What scope are you running on the centerfire range? I ask as I really like that reticle. Thank you. Take care. -Phil

      Hi Phil! That was the ZCO (Zero Compromise) ZC527 with the MPCT 3X reticle. I did like the reticle but switched back to the ZC527 MPCT2 reticle on the centerfire (which you can see on my other practice videos). Thanks for watching and for the kind words my friend!

    I have the Tactacam FTS... absolutely hate the clarity, how it reduces your field of view and eye relief and the numerous forehead bruises I've got cause you gotta run that POS 1/4" from your eye. The triggercam is on the list. Great review

      @The4GunGuy  Год назад

      Hi Eagle Eye! Yeah I didn’t like the tactical at all and I didn’t even get to turn mine on! Thanks for watching and the kind words my friend!

    • @flinginairos
      @flinginairos Год назад

      Yeah totally agree. The FTS was garbage for me too! Bruised my forehead three times and the camera shut off and didn’t even record on those shots (which were all on deer). Even tried an ATN scope this past year and didn’t like it either. Ordering the triggercam soon myself!

    Thanks for the great information. I’ve been thinking about getting one. The question I have is how do you take the recorded video from the memory card and uploaded to your phone or whatever device you are going to use to share the social media or upload RUclips videos? Thank you.

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  3 месяца назад +2

      Hi Pew! A few options here, one, you can livestream directly to say RUclips, which I would not recommend because you may want to edit first. Two, you can upload the mp4 file from your phone (assuming you've enabled capturing on your phone), then edit in a phone app of some sort and upload. Three (my preference), you simple transfer the files from the SD card to your PC using a USB hub/thumb adapter, then edit on your PC using video editing software. You'll want to use option three here because you'll forget the camera is recording and end up with 4 minutes of sky! I use DaVinci Resolve for my editing software, but there are others out there. Hope this helps and thanks for watching my friend!

    Nice shooting buddy
    Just to ask, how about the updates of the apps, that is only my concerns to all digital scope and scope cams,after few years, is the apps still good?
    Thanks buddy

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  Месяц назад +2

      Hi Brian! App is still good and once I get the TriggerCam focused the way I want it, I don't even use the app. I'm releasing a video of another scope camera next week that is half the price of the TriggerCam and is a good choice for target practice and hunting, not sure I'd use it to shoot a PRS style match though, but it does have a place in the sport...It's called the ScopeMate Cam. Thanks for watching my friend!

      Finally got to test it , only at my 100 yard range where I do load development and testing , she works good , figured out how to download vids and edit the edges , one thing I need to look into the volume adjustments if possible ...Im sure in movie app or so but for the TG itself would be nice. Anyway , hope to see you at the match in Dec .... Aldo @@The4GunGuy

    How can you download the video from the triggercam ? Can you downloaded via WiFi? Or need a computer ?

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Daniel! Yes, you can record and save the videos to your phone and share immediately on social media, or you can download to your PC via the miniSD card. I have not tried to directly hook the TriggerCam to my PC, but that will most likely also work. Thanks for watching my friend!

    Will the tubes of the TriggerCam that attach to the rear of your scope damage the finish?
    Don't want to scuff up my pretty ZCO! : -)

      Hi Sagittariustoo! Yep it will scuff it up. I think I’m going to try some of that thin, pvc pipe tape to prevent it getting any worse. Thanks for watching my friend!

    I think the GoPro hero 7 black with the all aluminum eaglevision universal scope mount is super nice but I understand the simplicity of the triggercam. It blows my mind that most centerfire guys don’t know about the sideshots and GoPro options out there… strange.

    • @tonypipTexas
      @tonypipTexas Год назад

      Hi Reckless! Yeah, I was looking at the sideshot, but with the recoil we have for centerfire (especially up into 6.5 CM and .308) I wasn't sure if it would be a viable option. Sure would like to try it sometime though! Thanks for watching my friend!

      Hi Blaiz4! Really sorry to hear that. I actually sent my first one back for the same reason and was overnighted one from Europe (actually took 2 days to get it) after reaching out to them. Keep trying and keep us up to date on progress. Thanks for watching my friend!

      Thanks in advance.

    Looks promising but 2 major deal breakers you didnt touch on. Digital zoom that cant be altered.....so much for watching full field of view as seen through your scope...FFP scope?-forget about it...half your christmas tree is missing. Non user replaceable, rechargable battery? Hmmm...ALL bateries will fail to hold or take a charge at some point. Its not a matter of "If"...It's when. Ouch...gotta spend another $550. Maybe Trigger Cam 2.2 will adress these major issues.Aside from that, nice cam indeed. I almost bought one.

    • @The4GunGuy
      @The4GunGuy  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Kenneth! You make some valid points, but for what I use it for, the TriggerCam fits the bill. I do hope they update the battery. I'm not sure what you meant about the digital zoom, since the optics are based on a prism inside the housing that reflects the image to the camera...No digital image management is used other than the digital recording of the image. I agree that this won't be for some people depending on their needs. Thanks for watching my friend!

      You have a great video on this scope cam. I have tried many, many ways of capturing video & photos myself, so I feel your pain. I mention the digital zoom because another RUclipsr who is well spoken and seems up to speed on both the Triiger Cam and the Tactacam said the digital zoom is a problem due to not recording ACTUALLY the full field of veiw as seen through the scope.. In other words, the video is cropped. As for myself, I ended going with the PARD system. It works well, however the video is not HD. Im looking to get better film quaility, so Im still looking. I also use a First Focal Plane scope, and when zoomed in, naturally the FULL retical disapears. Stay well, stay safe my friend.@@The4GunGuy
