I've just watched this over and over again on reaction videos which I love, and I have to say your video was hands down the best. When you see Phil Collins perform he fills your spirit until it feels like you are going to explode. The guy in the audience showed it perfectly. I love your reaction to Phil Collins' performance - you really get it don't you. I've subscribed to your channel on the strength of that.
Phil is a friggin legend. Everyone has heard this song whether they know it or not. Us old heads heard it in Miami Vice. The young folks heard it in the movie Hangover as Mike Tyson sings it. I actually got to see filler in Oklahoma City on this very tour in 2004. It’s the greatest drum drop in rock history.

Great reaction. I love seeing younger people react to this epic buildup to this song. There will never be another Phil Collins with both the voice and on the drums.❤❤ So happy he was in my generation of the best Rock & Roll.
I heard Phil Collins tell the greatest story on TV. he said every time they rehearsed this he would do the drum fill a little different because it wasn't meant to be anything special and this is the one that stuck and now we think of it as the most iconic!

He has had so many great hits such as "Another Day In Paradise", "I Don't Care Anymore", "Against All Odds", "One More Night", "Sussudio", "Take Me Home", "Two Hearts", "A Groovy Kind Of Love", "I Wish It Would Rain Down", "You Can't Hurry Love" etc.
Yes, he wrote it about his divorce, after his wife had cheated on him! I love your enthusiasm in your reactions, and so glad you didn't darken this with raindrops and such!
@@littleogeechee223 Sorry to contradict you, but yours is the first comment I've seen to deny the divorce saga with respect to this song. "I saw what you did... with my own two eyes" is definitely referencing the story that he actually caught his wife cheating on him. Still, your opinion...
@@littleogeechee223 it's true, he did write this song about his wife cheating. You're right also. Why can't he put his feelings into more than 1 song?

@juliemanarin4127 - if you're referring to Phil taking over in Genesis, Peter finished the Lamb tour before leaving the band. It was all planned beforehand and not in the spur of the moment. The thing is they auditioned a bunch of different singers before they talked Phil into giving it a go. He sounded like Peter while still being distinct so they ran with it.

'Another day in paradise' is beautiful, sad and heartbreaking. There are so many more as others have mentioned. Phil is a legend and his songs are an amazing rabbit-hole to fall down :). Hugs from Oz
