Supergirl doesn’t scare easily....except for that scene when she bumps into a skeleton and is totally frightened.
Well she was in the Phantom Zone, give her the benefit of the doubt.
She also woke up in strange place the last she remembered she was trying to crawl out of a swamp
Remember that she got busted down to "regular human" and she realized it cutting her self squeezing the rock and falling on her face trying to fly in the PZ

Love the awesome film score composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith. Funny, this could have been his score to "Superman", if he didn't have a scheduling conflict. Don't get me wrong, the "Superman" score by John Williams is fantastic and iconic. But at one point, it almost wasn't Williams.
One of the best scenes in the movie.

Selena can make all the lights and rides come on, but she can't fix the burnt out bulbs on the sign. Lol

Supergirl never gives up and never quits.
And she was the same way in Justice League Unlimited. Still fighting when she lost her powers, and even when she was at the point of nearly dying. That show was very inspiring, btw.

Loved Helene slater as Supergirl when I was young. Was all ways told there was ment to be 3 of them with her in but the first one did not do well at the box office. Not sure if this is true. Shame as she made a wonderful supergirl & would like to have seen more. From Jonathon bide England.
Fun fact: the producers originally intended for Dolly Parton to play Selena until Dolly explained there was no way she could ever play a witch. Goes to show they meant for this film to be quite a bit comedic. Thank goodness they got Faye and Brenda. Those two were so much fun in this flick.

Helen Slater was asked many years ago what it was like to work with faye dunaway and she said that as youngster she called her a pain and I read somewhere where dunaway was hurt by that but as mature actress Slater said later on dunaway didn't mix with other cast members. It was well known that fay dunaway could be difficult to work with.
How could anyone live in an amusement park I first saw this film when I was 5 and I thought how weird even now I say the same thing

I found it funny how Supergirl chose to give her real name from 1:34-1:35 instead of keeping her identity secret since Superman probably wasn't interested in giving his real name as Kal-El except somehow his girlfriend Lois Lane knew about it. Plus a little earlier in the movie when Jimmy Olsen introduced himself to her when she was Linda Lee, she said "I'm Kara" but then covered it up saying "I'm concerned."
Her girlish innocence is showing, but to be fair I guess maybe in her city if a villain announces themself they have to answer with their own real name?
@@Hawthorne-Studios That could be true but, maybe one of the reasons Superman told Ethan that her name is Kara only because she was only temporarily staying on Earth and will be heading back to Argo City soon after getting the Omegaheddron from Selena knowing that Argo City was not destroyed. While on the other hand, Superman had to keep his identity secret the whole time because he was on Earth forever after there was no way for him to head back to his planet Krypton once it got destroyed.

Argo city? What happened to Krpyton?
Supergirl is from Argo Superman is from Krypton. Depending on writersxor versions, either Argo is a city city of Krypton or its its sister planet of krypton
Argo City was on the planet Krypton. It was written to be a literal city. Not the name of a separate world.
@Brianna Bombshell Krypton actually blew up in outer space seen on the first film and when it was talked about on "Superman 3" by Ross Webster, Ross Webster asked where Krypton is and his employee Gus Gorman said "it's nowhere, it blew up into space many years ago and Superman was sent from there to here when he was a baby." Argo City on the other hand is a different planet where Supergirl is from.
Krypton blew up, but Argo city was like a colony world, cut-off from it.

She had a mediocre storyline and script though, I'll give her a pass on that at least. Supergirl's lines are ok for her character, not so much of Selena's.
So easy to kill Selina, obviously no match against Supergirl 😂
