Start with "stupid" songs, lullabys and shit like that, or with blues, esay stuff
Linkin Park, SOAD and Rammstein have a lot of easy but rockin' song that are perfect to start.

I wouldn't necessarily say that he sounds terrible, his style of vocals just doesn't replicate the original, which is fair game for a cover, in my opinion.
I've heard him do some nice growls in other videos like in the metal mad libs, but I personally don't like his mid screams like in this one.
Watch Ola Englunds cover of Meshuggah that he uploaded the other day. The vocalist said how hard it is to do the Meshuggah guys voice.
