The wear os 4 update on my galaxy watch 4 or one ui 5 whichever is a suitable name, it has significantly improved the performance of my watch and its so much easier to navigate through the interface and feels 10x as smooth as wear os 3.5 ,and I'm very happy since I was on the verge of thinking the watch I bought just a year ago was already out of date.
I literally upgraded to Pixel 8 Pro the day my watch started updating... But I wiped it to link it to my new phone! I should have waited for the update to finish and just seemlessly move it across instead 😂
Good stuff Emad, I'm not sure if this is part of WOS 4 or not but now when I'm scrolling through menus like the apps list using the crown, it keeps scrolling with momentum after I've let go of crown like the apple watch. I like it.
@@TonyWheeler60hey there 2 days ago I got pixel camera update on my pixel watch og and now it works like in the video... So you may need to wait for that update to come and you can change the mode using the watch though not a lot of options compared to using camera on phone
Have you noticed how bad the pixel 8 pro takes yellow and red colors? For example when I try to take a picture on a red light it turns out pink or when I try to take a picture on my chicken nugget I get really muted. Can you try to make a video about this to address this problem? Thank you for your videos!
Great videos thanks. I just got my Pixel Watch 2 here in the UK. It did an OS update during setup but my watch camera app does not offer the options that you describe. Assuming I needed a further update I tried forcing the update using the screen icon tapping (your vid at 0:28) but it does nothing and shows no sign of forcing a manual update check.
Thanks for showing me that I don't need this update. Is it able to use an 8-digit PIN code for unlocking? Wear OS 2 had it but it was removed in Wear OS 3
2 hours to update the software and it has to be on the charger. That's a good way to mess up the watch. Better overheat the battery real quick which will destroy the battery.
I bought some Casio Proteks that are atomic sync'd and solar charged, maintenance free forever, grab them and go and the time is always right within plus minus 5 seconds. My Huawei smart watch was useless, and now Android Wear is dead and nothing google on it works anymore... the play store, the apps, the mail, nothing. The question is, what is the entire world suppose to do with their dead useless Android Wear watches. If you create a product, you should support it forever, esp. if the world adopts it as an operating system.
Agreed. Useful to see new features and I’m also interested in seeing if others have better battery performance after the upgrade. I can’t tell yet for my original pixel watch.
@@kwinzman I don't think battery life changed much after the Wear OS4 upgrade. However, I easily get 24 hours. My use is typically one workout per day often with GPS, quite a lot of notifications and sleep mode. I have 40 or 50 percent on waking. Mine is LTE and I find keeping phone with me helps battery life as you'd expect. AOD is disabled. For me it's a great watch.
@@RichardWellsOnGoogle Thanks for the info! Very helpful! I got an Android Wear LG G Watch when Android Wear 1 came out in 2014, and its battery life was 1 day. It's astonishing how little progress we've made battery wise on the Google WearOS devices in the last 9 years. Obviously the screens got better and we have LTE now, but still.

come on google make a proper watch ecosystem i know you can do it. all it takes is a couple of billions of which you have plenty.
If you think that they have random billions in some bank account, you really don't know how any business works. lol
@@BojanTomic no, they have revenue which they can invest into r&d. do it and you'll get it back quickly. it's free money.
😅

You are the best Google device information provider I follow in RUclips ❤❤❤❤❤
Description needs correction it says :WearOS 4.0 is 'not' rolling out
LoL. Really that was the title? 😂
Think he meant now 😂

how did you get the camera remote settings? I'm only getting the camera front and back and cannot change to other modes
Same here (Pixel watch 2 in UK). I tried updating the OS but could not force it to check and the camera app installed has no update

My watch fails to transfer phone & login to fitbit after updating. I'm struggling to pair it with the P8 now.
5:07 will it mute all notifications or just the ones that show up in the watch?
Thanks for the video really helpful and informative

I updated my pixel watch. Everything is fine but I don't have backup option either in the watch and app 😢😢😢

Check the app updates on your watch play store app?
Your intro is so soothing hah
what is that light blue case do you have on your phone? looks nice
What’s that case on your Pixel 8 Pro?
I'd like to know as well. Thanks!
i am having trouble getting the backup to start once watch is on wifi and power. it still says 'waiting to back up'. what did you experience?

@indepthtech I have a pixel 6a would you upgrade to the regular 7 if I had to pay 200 Dollars more or just keep the 6a?
Quick question bro, Was there any new watch faces?
Which case is that (for the 8 Pro)
All those features are already available in Galaxy watch
Good for you

Literally all they have to do is copy + paste from Apple's watchOS. Not sure why they're so hesitant.
Blur your number at 5:27

I am looking to buy a new smartwatch. What battery life are you getting with your Pixel watch? Are you using LTE?

Great video
Google se está poniendo las pilas por fin
Where is TV os and new chrome cast
Thanks for reply. But I didn't get what you want to say
I just cringe watching the transfer and how the watch behaves. I got a free one when I got my pixel 8 pro. I posted it on FB market.
Connect smart watch to phone
