Is the watch 4 is viable late 2023/2024? Im wanting to get onto smart watches. I dont need sport/health or any other frequent tracking features. I just want notification, time, and calendar stuff.
I want the classic 4, but im dont want to end up with an obsolete "dumb" smart watch.

Samsung updates its watches upto 3 years. Watch 4 is 2 year old. And recently got the watch 6 software update. Good for another year or two.

I think this feature is only available for the galaxy S and Z. I had S10 and this feature was working on my watch, but now I have a A54 and it is not available.

It does now. I received my reconditioned Watch 4 Classic LTE on November 24th. I was able to update it the same day to Wear OS 4.
