Love watching your videos here on the West Coast. And my wife is from Cape Cod so I know that those flies can be brutal. Glad you got a good session in though.
Hi Rick finally another long video of the Casey flow and 9'0 same as my new one. Nice Mate thank you and looks like you like the board moves and stability. Very good.
Hi Fabio! I hope to have more soon. Several fun sessions this week, but cameras not wanting to work.... trying again in a few minutes. Really liking my Flow V2 theses days!
Thanks Brian... in small waves the "Kook Hat Cam" is very useful, in OH waves, all you see is the board and water.... zero feeling of size or action. That's a good question... one that I am trying to answer for myself. I have not used the Flow V2 enough in good surf to fully understand it. Since I used to feel it was very tippy, I had been choosing other boards to surf in my Great White infested waters. Now I have no issues with using it... still tippy, but I just have learned to deal with that, so I have a few weeks before wetsuits make me use other boards. I had a very amazing session on the Flow V2 last week... and of course, I left my SD card in my computer, so no video. That session put the Flow V2 right up there with the SP25 BUT... I need to ride them in the same session to truly compare for myself. I feel the SP25 is snappier, but the Flow V2 has an awesome feel on a good wave! At least I have a worthy task to work on!! 🤗 Buy them both... you won't regret it! If you want to talk directly about specifics, please email me at supthecreek@gmail.com
Rick, did your cam separate from your hat and you found it floating somehow, or the cam and hat combo fell off without you noticing? Please explain as I want to avoid losing mine the same way.
Hi Roger I always take off my leash ans hat when I am in the water. I rinse them off and loop them around my paddle, then rinse my hair, grab my board and rinse it then walk straight to my van with everything sand free. That day, I only looped the chin strap around my paddle and apparently didn't make it "click" closed It was sitting on the bottom in 4 feet of water about 20 feet out. I got lucky!!!
More classic supthecreek adventures!
Hey MrDarilon, how are you?
I hope the waves are treating you well 🙂
You should win an Emmy for that surf video. It had plot, action, adventure and blood.
ZOE! ha ha... thank you!

Thanks Shane.... sometimes small, is big fun!
You'e the man, Rick. Always inspiring to see you out there rippin'.

Excellent as always!!! Just love the POV, can really see how the board works. Is the Casey/Flow and SP25 close to each other in performance?
