Its cool learning more and more about this platform, my Evo X just got finished up two days ago 480whp with a mhi 18k on e54. No where near your beast but Its enough... for now lol.
Thats fantastic dude I still think the 18k is the best intro to power on these cars. I'm gonna try and push the limits on mine blow it then Build a 800whp monster haha
Yes sir. I made 622/420 on e80 and 557/400 on 93 with a efr8374 and 2150s. Good video bud.
Yeah I maxed out my duty cycle on e50 :( car has more but I’m not gonna chance it it feels real good where it’s at.
Love the videos man! I'm currently just shy of 400whp, 400wtq. Converted stock turbo(20G cold side, stock hotside), ID1300's, etc. Very conservative tune. 10-15 launches on the car. Made it to 80k on my OEM clutch with 50% life left. Ended up throwing an HDSS ACT clutch in with the Evo 9 CMC. Next big project is converting to a Ralliart/9 diff and looping the lines on the AYC pump.

Whos your tuner they did good to get you 400whp and 400wtq on basically stock clutch and just 1300cc injectors but thats the perfect stock block tune right there
@@Lebigmacrules planning on pushing it to at least 500whp at somepoint but I'm still enjoying it currently so I haven't stepped up yet
@@CO_EVO_8 I had a 20g on my car it will definitely not make 500whp and nothing over like mid 400wtq but my route is a 25g still quick spool maybe a tiny bit laggier then the 20g but it will be able to produce 500+whp and 500+wtq ill be running big boy injectors and a exedy stage 2 clutch that can handle the torque but just like you I need to get the ralliart rear diff conversion

My rear diff gave out. i have a ralliart diff. i will get that diff pin issue fix asap. Will destroy the casing and lots of stuff with it. i also recommend exhaust cam delete with magnus. It will crack and not be a good time. Its cheap insurance. i made 570whp 405tq stock location turbo. i didn’t want to push to aggressive. i also recommended head studs.

Would also upgrade clutch master cylinder. I went with magnus same time I had clutch put in. Also had my clutch fork snap on me, left me with dead pedal a mile from home. Threw in another oem fork and bought a clutch fork stop. Other than that been solid for 6 years. Nothing crazy, pretty standard fbo tuned on 93. Stock turbo/fuel for now.
Oooo that’s a good one completely forgot I had to replace that. The cmc is a bitch to replace.

Question, what spark plug gap are you running? On ILK or the newer DILK?
I have my gap at factory spec still at .20 and I actually run evo 9 plugs per english racings recommendation they seem to handle the heat better.
Ive had the insulator crack once on the oem recommended plugs lol never again
I'm pushing 560wheel on E75 with 60mm fp black spec and S2 cams springs and retainers but my tuner told me I'm limited to 7800redline due to the stock rod bolts. Anyone heard of that, or can I rev it higher?
I run to 8100 stock rod bolts. I have heard this before though I don’t think it’s 100% necessary
@@studentdriverrs1043 well since you've been tuned by English, I'm sure they know what you can and can't do, so I might go for 8k. I'd love to be able to hit 9k, plus do the final drive upgrade one day
@@SkyboundMarhonestly rod bolts don’t do as much as they believe what’s gonna hurt the rods most is the low end torque not the high rpm

@@DiquonteJ yeah don’t get an auto haha those can be very picky. But any year past 11 got all the good revisions the prior ones aren’t bad they are just more prone to the unique issues.

What size injectors are you running ?
You could make much more torque if you build the bottom end instead of buying a block from mitsu for 5k here in Florida lol 5k will be all I need to build my block my heads and throw a 25g turbo with Bosch ev14 2000cc injectors. Ill have a smaller turbo then you and make same power and way more torque
At the time I daily drove the car longevity the stock motor doesn't consume oil because piston and rings seal better was my thought process and 650whp is plenty for me Now in the future I have a plan for the car to make it an 850-900whp monster but thats later

82k on chassis and 60k on motor

No I dont I just switched to amsoil signature. I still have stock tolerances so I dont require an oil like that luckily.
