- The DJI Phantom 4 Pro redefines the iconic Phantom series, bringing imaging and intelligence to new heights. Its new camera equipped with a larger 1-inch sensor and the ability to capture 4K video at 60fps and while its FlightAutonomy system adds dual rear vision sensors and two infrared sensors for a total of 5 directions of obstacle sensing and greater protection. Creators are also further empowered with a new suite of ActiveTrack and TapFly functions that makes complicated shots easier than ever.
Please consult National Park regulations before your flight. All takeoffs and landings were performed outside of National Park lands. Always follow applicable rules and regulations in your jurisdiction. Permits were obtained, where needed, in locations depicted in this video.

Holy shit DJI. 4K @ 60p is amazing. Literally destroying GoPro's drone 😂
It is day and night. Phantom 4 Pro is 1'' sensor and 100M bit rate. GoPro camera is 1/2.3'' sensor and 60M bit rate. And the dynamic ranges of them are totally different.
LOL, GoPro's drone has destroyed itself, they have been falling out of the sky and have been recalled.
I got the GoPro and I liked it, but after the recall and saw how innovative DJI is I might go with this one.
Tallguysd but at least they are going in the right direction. Would not be surprised if their next model offered that.

OMG. This is the phantom I've been dreaming of. Great camera, obstacle avoidance virtually in any direction and the best bit of all..........a built in screen! DJI.......take my money. This IS the best drone on the market.
At this point buying a camera like an a6300 from sony for video is almost pointless, just buy a drone, DJI, you deserve a heck of a congratulation.
yeah, good luck making a shortfilm with just a phantom lol. 1 focal length (wide angle) through your whole movie, deformed faces in your close ups... way to go... :)

maybe not this one, but the inspire 2 shoots at an even higher 5.2 k and has interchangeable lenses, it also comes with its gimbal, which makes it the killer of cameras for videos (of course it doesn't compete with a red dragon yet)
inspire 2 fully equiped costs 7000€ if not more... A6300 + kit lens... 1400€ + FeyuMG 600€ + Atomos Ninja Assassin for 422 10bit 1000€
Also A6300 shoots in 6k downsampled to 4k, so the image is super sharp... also, it has a good dynamic range, slog 2/3, one of the sharpest 120fps 1080p slowmo for the pricerange.
and with the money left, you can buy a P4pro, and go on vacation to use all your gears and come back with uber memories ^^
and last but not least... you will have more comfort and easiness using the A6300 vs the inspire 2 for almost any shots on the ground ^^

mrchirp1 A nail in the coffin for sure. I like their cameras too. I've always owned DJI and they are rock solid. I do 80 to 90% of my flying over water. It one ever shut down like the Karma, it could get expensive real quick for me.
Vylkeer DJI has done nothing but take money from Mavic buyers. They haven't even shipped all ordered made at the end of September. Launching 2 more drones before they can deliver another backordered product shows that the company cares about nothing but our money.
Whatever you do, the Chinese will do it better.

So did I... with 3 new batteries, a travel case, and a tons of extras for $1000... I couldn't pass it up regardless of this new P4 pro. It still does a phenomenal job.
Paolo Vega this drone is only one hundreds bucks more than the p4 so return the p4 and get this instead. Although with the controller and screen it's like 3 or 4 hundred bucks more
DJI make great toys but they are a very ruthless company. They increased British Mavic/phantom prices before the Mavic even came out, by 10%.

Two things about DJI:
1: I don't have to worry about the other brand being the one I should have been loyal to.
2: If I am low on cash, but really want a new drone, I can always wait until next month for the latest model.

They put all the right additions in all the right spots. If it weren't for the size of the mavic... I would get one! For a traveler... the mavic is perfection for me. I'll just have to live without the increased image quality and multiple avoidance cameras.

mPky1 I know what you're saying, but just because you have the tools, doesn't mean it should be used in every situation. Active track probably wouldn't work too well with an air craft, they designed to track ground objects.

I am excited to receive this version of the Phantom. P4Pro with the object avoidance SHOULD result in a reduced Commercial Operations Insurance Cost. Better Yet, Why doesn't DJI offer drone insurance services for those using these quads for commercial applications? It's a perfect partnership, and the claims would help direct research and development in the future both for protecting the quad and structures being videoed or photographed. What do you say DJI :) become the Aflac of Drone Services :) I bought the extra battery and the new built in screen version. FANTASTIC upgrade from the P3Pro.... which will now serve as my backup.

I LOVE THIS DRONE. I HAVE SEEN THIS DRONES IN MANY WEDDING CEREMONIES IN INDIA AND ALWAYS WANTED TO BUY THIS AND START A PART-TIME CARRIER WHEN I TURN 18. I COULD NOT AFFORD THIS DRONE THOUGH. BUT EVEN IF I GET A CHANCE OF EVEN FLYING THIS DRONE FOR A MOMENT, I WOULD LOVE EVERY MOMENT OF IT. NICE WORK AND DESIGNING DJI.

This was my dream machine back then, still remains. Never had enough money to buy this. Although I bought a used spark a year ago, sold it as it had very less battery backup.

It's why I hate Dji , I mean I love their product but they are going to fast, 3 drones came out this year (P4, mavic pro, and P4P) They are ahead all other brand... but I am really looking forward for the Phantom 5...

After 4 years i am still in love with this drone. I prefer it over the mavic 2 pro. Sharper photos, more natural looking colors and crisper 👌
I will still choose mavic, if you want to know why; 1) Size, its very small. Thats very big thing about drones, the size. 2) All same active track features. 3) The price, its 700€ cheaper.. 4) Maybe you didnt know, but the mavic is also a drone made for racing. 5) The Range. Mavic Pro, always in my mind

The Mavic pro has a crappy dynamic range and much worse sharpness, in videography or aerial photography it doesn't stand a chance, the purchase only depends on what you have to do with it, I don't think this drone is thought for racers or amateur photographers
Lorenzo Biondi I agree, I have a lot of flight time from my P3S 2.7k for recreation, so the Mavic is a big upgrade for me. I still haven't edited the tons of vids I have with the P3S, with the Mavic I got a better cam, quadrupled the distance an the portability. To lug around the P3S, I simply got tired of it, I haven't flown since I ordered the Mavic in October. Plus I got tired of being stopped by cops in NYC everytime I hit Manhattan up. Lugging around this huge ass bag every time I wanna film something bothered me every time an makes me look like I got a bomb on my back. I'll fly the fuck outta that p4pro, but as far as using the camera tech on it, I ain't ready for that yet. 1 time in Washington Square park another photographer had to show me how to use the shutter on the P3S, I had unknowingly moved it to manual an thought the cam was broke as everything was just bright. But until they make a better Mavic I'm really going to get to learn it as u now can easily take it with me, that is the deal breaker for me
my Mavic still produces incredible 4k video that while not as good as this is still stunning. the size for me makes the difference between only taking the drone on "special" occasions or taking it EVERYWHERE ALWAYS. that is worth it to me. the Phantom 4 Pro is INCREDIBLE but what it really does is give me a glimpse of the quality and capability I'll have in the Mavic 2 or 3 in 12-24 months.
Hate to break it for you friend, but the mavic is not made for racing, nor does it even compete with a purpose built racing/freestyle fpv mini quad. Dji and its line of drones has always kept the photographer in mind and their line of aircraft reflect that. Fpv freestyle/racing is fun as all hell tho and makes you an infinitely better pilot than flying a dji drone, which basically fly themselves.

MOORREE battery, optical sensors facing upwards. Faster, more range(even though 3.1 miles is awesome). They can also be even more innovative and figure something out super cool that no one has thought of yet.

Xenon Nox no, I think it's still a good price. It's a premium product with a premium price but it is still not too much that it'll turn away just regular consumers. There are more expensive drones out there. This is a high end consumer drone for regular people. Compared to the the inspire 2, it's more of a commercial drone for larger production movies.

i think the extra sensors, fast mode obstacle avoidance, and the fly back along the original path are definitely extremely good things, thats only if they work as advertised though
