    This is actually brilliant, the delivery drone has been around for a while but DJI just made it so user focused. Dual operators for increased range, automatic routes, anti swinging, winch mode with non contact delivery. The list just goes on! Well done, it will be amazing to see what practical purposes people use the flycart for 🚁

      Fit and finish yes...avionics and C2 capabilities, many are quite a few steps ahead in the delivery sector. Such as use of LTE for more than just video. It's nice stuff as always, but the delivery game is way way different than shooting pics. 👍

    In Toulouse, France, they built a cable car to join two hospitals separated with a river pretty quickly. It costs millions to build. And now there is THAT.
    (for delivering quickly organs for example)

      Trucks? Thermal Imaging cameras? Rangefinders? Heavy duty boots? Surveillance and cargo drones?
      If it's cost effective and reliable, the military will want it, or at least will be willing to use it as a make-do alternative if proper military equipment is not available.

    I was delivering pizza by drones 2 years ago and this drone would have been so useful. Once we get regulation for this stuff it’s gonna be game changing. I love tech!!!! Great job @DJI

    I am so excited about this. I always thought drone delivery would never take off until DJI made a specialized drone for that purpose. Very elegant design and the AR software was a nice touch. Super impressive payload capacity. You guys have done it again. I am currently in my second year of electronic engineering and it is my dream to work for a company like DJI. Their products are partially responsible for the unhealthy amount of inspiration I get online.

    when amazon claimed they would be doing it, i didnt believe them,. but when dji says it... it seems like its already a thing. ive had a few dji drones now and i have no doubt that this will work just as well as we see it dose in this video. dji is like the tesla of the drone world, without them we wouldnt really be taking drones seriously it would still be a niche. well played dji, well played

    It's a solution to many problems and I'm absolutely delighted to see more and more such inventions and I'm a big fan of DJI🙂‍↕️ but it worries me and makes it difficult for me to film and fly over various lenses to take photos of nature, I think that they are quite complicated, generally tougher in Romania👍

      I see a huge application in disaster relief: from delivering food and medicines to isolated victims of earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, and so on, to possibly even being able to strap a small child in to lift away to safety.

    This is awesome and will have great use in the future in many areas (Imagine: 2 hospitals close to each other, like 10km, sending meds to each other) ... and I'm not saying this just as a DJI SkyPixel member 🙌

      @@rgbforever4561 probably too big, too heavy, too slow… in current conflicts they either use small, tweaked, fpv drones or, well, the real military warfare drones

      @@emilinhocorneta good questions! it says up to 20km, but that's with fcc. I guess in europe it will be max 8km then 😬 but you could easily program it to do the flight automatically... of course depending if that's ok with local aviation law.

    couple questions which weren't apparent; is the 16km one way or round trip? (is it 8km round or 32km one way)and is there any autonomy, or does an operator need to be connected all the time?

      thats 16km one way absolute max until the battery display reads 0%

      @@ryangonzales7716 on the DJI website it states that the maximum flight range is 16km loaded w/ dual batteries, 28km empty with dual batteries, and that maximum signal range is 20km in FCC mode.
