Man Rodman was a good passer. If he focused a lil more on his offense he’d be a great player today. The defense is perfect for today.. Can guard all 5 as a point of attack guy, great rebounding. On offense he runs the floor like a deer, never gets tired, gets a lot of second chances on offensive boards and loose ball saves, and he gets stops and starts fast breaks for teams. He would occasionally make a three and was a good enough athlete to slash to the basket and dunk on someone when he wanted to. If he grew up today and became atleast a draymond green level shooter which is not great but atleast serviceable, and just ran the floor for open dunks and layups, as well as worked on his ft shooting to become atleast league average, his game would translate well. The skill was there, he just didn’t need it back then.
Kukoc is a hall of famer for a reason. Was just unlucky he played the same position as Pippen or Rodman for the Bulls. He would have been a starter for sure.
Honestly I still think the triangle is a viable way to play basketball But unfortunately you need a team to really buy in and years of chemistry to maximize it. In the era of team hopping you are unlikely to find that
Bulls were running The Triangle Offense.
Yessir
CHRIS,
1. YES, THE CROWD SAID “LUKE!”
2. YES, THE TRIANGLE OFFENSE CREATED THE SPACING, OFF SIDE CUTTERS & PROVIDED HIGH PERCENTAGE OPEN SHOTS!
