You can't compare generational players. The floors were different, the ball was different, and the rules were different. For instance. Michael Jordan never beat Bird in the playoffs. Bird and the Celtics swept Jordan and the Bulls twice. and Scotty was there the second time. If Bird hadn't messed his back up in 95, he very well may have played five or ten more years. The medical care and treatment are also very different too. You can try to, but honestly can't compare the greats....just lump them all into a very special bunch of athletes who all breathed rare air. L7 🏴‍☠
