The double clutch jump shots and one hand double clutch layups set MJ apart from every NBA player ever. Beyond the top level offense and defense, beyond the ridiculous accomplishments, even beyond his affect on the sport, his ability to float in the air is out of this world. Despite any scientific explanation on how his vertical gave the illusion of floating; there have been other basketball players with as high or higher vertical, none of them floated.

Don't know how you come up with Lebron better when the large majority of his shots come from within 3ft, doesn't play nearly the defense that MJ did, nor minutes normally played each game. Yes, Lebron has Jordan on total points but that's largely due to longevity and not mere talent. MJ is heads above Lebron in talent, shooting and if 3's were more common and no hand checking was allowed back in MJ's days there's no telling the numbers by that man. Witnessed both playing and was no Bulls fan for sure, have been a Hawks fan since the 70's and never seen anything like MJ on the court, unbelievable quickness as the guy was hitting a 4.3 in the forty when he came into the league and a 48 inch vertical with long arms and huge hands.

Mike going through Detroit is what created the modern-day MJ. They made him battle through all of their bullshit because the Pistons team had 1 rule, "if he goes up, put him on his ass". It was dirty and foul but it's like watching Dr. Oppenheimer create the nuclear bomb. One day you create something that you can't uncreate.
Logan was just Logan, claws made out of bone, healing factor, sense of smell, agility, etc.
Then they created Weapon X... and he escaped.
Imagine being a blacksmith and you have this awesome piece of steel. You have to heat it and mold it and cool it and the steel is forged and trial by fire. Then one day, you get stabbed with the very sword you made.
Thank you, Detroit. Because of you... there are plenty of HOF's from the 80s and 90s who never got a ring in their entire career.

MJ Changed his # to 45 when he came back from retirement because he originally wanted his Father to have seen his last game wearing #23. MJ had retired the first time after his father was murdered and he went to tale on the challenge of playing MLB Baseball which was his Father's most loved sport. So when he got back in the league, some players were disrespecting him saying #45 wasn't as good as #23 and shhh like that. That was just because MJ was in baseball shape and not in Basketball shape. MJ unretired 23 and the following season was the beginning of his second 3 peat.

1:33 no, its not normal for even NBA players to be able to do that, let alone random joes at the park. NBA players can palm the ball, but Jordan had one of the biggest hands ever, that he can grip the ball like a nerfball, and can fling it around without it coming out of his hand. That's why his fakes are different, he can shoot the ball up at the same momentum as a normal shot, but grip it so that it doesn't come out of his hand.
