Seriously the best end result I have ever seen with SMP! I want to do this myself, but I am so scared of a bad result, and cant find a trustworthy clinic here in Sweden. Also, I think this is the cheapest and best lasting way to get hair, but if I need to pay for both treatments and travels abroad its not worth it. I just wish I didnt have to feel like 50 when Im 35...
@@zdravo3543 I did, but I was told that if you do that too early before all hair has fallen off completely, there is a risk you have to do it again. And in Sweden thats quite expensive even once.
Hello i love it.. amazing work.. greetings... i am so interested in this just have some sort of fear in regards to the ink deposits in scalp ? Is it safe ? Any long term health risks toxicity genotoxicity carcinogenic risks etc ? Would love your much respected feedback .. sincere regards
Hello, glad you like our results! No there is no side effects, we have done over 10,000 clients with no side effects. We go half as deep as a normal tattoo and use a lot less pigment than a normal tattoo uses.
Looked great after 2 sessions, id have been happy with that! Luckily I still have a full head but definitely better than how he looked with that awful haircut.
Thanks for sharing. I'm considering to get in contact. However, does this damage the hair follicles and is this treatment possible in combination with hair transplant?
Hair transplant can be done after SMP with no worries, SMP doesnt affect follicles... same as a tattoo on your arm, hair still grows out of it. Better making one plan and sticking to it however cause you have to have touch ups every 5 or so years to keep SMP looking nice, so either go SMP or if you are knowing you're going to have a hair transplant in 5 years just wait for that
@@bruza1980 yes. I was little bit concerned when i start to go to public with it. Specially after first few sessions, but nobody notice anything. I live in Old Bridge. 20 minute drive from Edison. I’ll give you a call this week or next week to make an appointment. If I get a good price, I’ll go for it.
Looks great but i would have went lighter. The issue with dark smp is head shine, when smp is darker it wants to create the illusion of 5 oclock shadow and not of a freshly shaved head. A real 5oclock shadow head will not shine, but with a dark smp it will shine, taking away slightly from the real hair illusion. So i would go with a freshly shaved look since a freshly very close buzz look will actually really shine.
Hi Richard, the aim with all treatments is to match the darkness of the clients remaining hair when shave short, maybe 5 to 10% darker on top which will give you a bit more of a gap in between shaves. We can match a wet shaved head perfectly but it just means you'll be shaving more often. SMP will not make your head any less or more shiny than it currently is, thanks
It's amazing how realistic this looks, just goes to show you that optical illusions are here to benefit the world! The blending is perfect and I doubt just any "tattoo artist" could do this. I believe this is something that needs careful training even if you are an accomplished tattoo artist.
Hello Ben, we recommend shaving every 2-3 days, ever day is not needed to keep your existing hair blended with the treatment. Going grey would make zero difference as any hair colour shaved this shirt is a grey tone anyway, you wouldn’t even notice if you turned grey. Here is a link to our treatment cost page to give you an idea skalp.com/treatment-cost/ Thanks

It makes no difference what hair colour you have or if you go grey, we match the treatment to how dark your shade is, when hair is shaved to below 0.5 it has a grey tone to it anyway. The treatment lightens over the years, so if your shade is particularly lighter years later we just do a touch op with a lighter shade. So it would make difference if you turned grey. Hi looking for some advice. So I have had smp and I’m going on holiday soon, just wanted to know are there limits to how long I can be out in the sun. Obviously I know I need to apply factor 30 or higher but was just wondering if I keep it topped up can I keep my scalp out in the sun all day or should I limit my time and wear a hat the rest of the time ? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Hello, there is no limit to how long you can be in the sun as long as you apply sun protection, as you say factor 30 or above. If you are in a very hot country and going to be in the sun all day we would recommend factor 50. Thanks
@@Skalp hi thanks for the quick reply just one more question. I also read that sunscreen protects the skin but not necessarily the pigment from the smp is this true ?
@@SKILLS4FRILLS I wouldn’t worry about the sun too much, as long as you use common sense and keep it protected you will be fine. I’ve personally had SMP for 15 years, I’ve burnt my head quite a few times and it doesn’t just instantly fade it, it’s just if you constantly burn your head it will fade it quicker than if you keep it protected.
