As a convert to the Catholic Church from the Mormon church, I lost a few friends, but I gained a family and a better life all around the second I was baptized when I was 13. It’s a decision I will never regret as it’s made my life better and legitimately saved my life.
@Asaph Vapor I will only say two things to you in response, as I am not a theologian, and have absolutely no answer to most of what you've said so I won't even try to refute them as it would be a waste of my time and energy. 1 - you say the Catholic Church has no basis in scripture. Which is funny, considering the core of every Mass celebrated is the Eucharist, which Jesus performed the first Eucharist after/during the last supper, in Matthew 26: 26-29 it says in the New Jerusalem Bible, which is the version I own: 'Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had said the blessing he broke it and gave it to the disciples. "Take it and eat," he said. "This is my body." Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he handed it to them saying, "Drink from this, all of you, for this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Which are the words spoken to bless the wine and bread at every Catholic Mass. Mark 14: 22-25, and Luke 22: 19-20 are all other versions of the same Eucharistic scene. 2: you say the Catholic church says to drink the literal blood of Jesus, which we don't say, we're just quoting the words of Jesus, as Jesus just said in the scripture I just quoted, but John has something to say as well in John 6: 53-58 'Jesus replied to them: "In all truth I tell you, if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I shall raise that person up on the last day. For my flesh is real food, and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in that person. As the living Father sent me and I draw life from the Father, so whoever eats me will also draw life from me. This is the bread which has come down from heaven; it is not like the bread our ancestors ate: they are dead, but anyone who eats this bread will live forever." Jesus himself said to eat His flesh and drink His blood. He didn't say to eat something that represented his flesh or drink something that represented his blood, he said point blank to eat His flesh and drink His blood. You can say Catholics aren't Christians all you want, but if that were true, why are we listening to Jesus, and nondenominational Christians aren't? I know for a fact I probably haven't convinced you of anything, and honestly that's your prerogative. But ask yourself this - as every cult has had a leader with a hidden agenda of wanting power and being seen as something amazing that can do no wrong - if the Catholic Church truly were a cult, what is there to gain from the persecutions we've received over the 2,000 years it's been around, from publicly revealing that Priests have hurt children sexually (which is just the tip of the ice burg of what's happened, as that only counts Priests and doesn't factor in what nuns have done), and from being tortured for being Catholic in other countries?
@@beautifulspirit7420 google this troll check solasymobolic wordpress.com someone just exposed his so called self made doctrines on bible.ca he is a desperate troll he ias a huge fan of himself

Yes!!! I am a brand new “convert”. I was confirmed at 2023 Easter Vigil. I have experienced my family saying, “why you wanna become catholic?”. My sister’s and I were raised Methodist and then I was baptist all my adult life. I have made new friends in my RCIA class. I love the catholic faith and I absolutely love my parish!
I was a former Protestant , I enjoyed the teaching of the Gospel reading the Bible , fellowship, prayer, music....But while attending after time i noticed people continually knock against the Catholic Church....but it dawned on me ....i think this was the 1st Church.... (did research) eventually....left ......in the year 1999 started coming back & converted....got married and started to study and committ ...now 20 years on and going STRONG AMEN!!
i was a former satanist ( i grew up hating religion due to trauma, but as i got older, i got less scared of God and more open minded ), i found God, but i didn’t understand my protestant family always dissing catholicism, and i didn’t understand why they didn’t worship Mother Mary, i realized i would be much more happier as a catholic than a protestant..
I was raised a Catholic, I studied in a Catholic School. I'm from a Catholic country, Philippines. Then, there came a time when a lot of different religions popped out and claiming that they're born again Christians. Trying to convert everybody. I was nearly convinced to their beliefs but because my family's often prayer of the rosary, they failed to convert me. I'm very grateful that the Blessed Mother did'nt allow them to take me away from her. I love Mama Mary. She brought me back to her Son, my Lord and Savior Jesus. Amen.🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤⚘💐
Well said! I’m publishing a weekly RUclips video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you...
I am a Roman Catholic from India and I regularly watch the Catholic Talk Show episodes but this one is by far the best. So much to learn from all of you, brothers. Thanks Keith for sharing your journey to Catholicism. Thank you, Fr. Rich and both the Ryans. Your love for the Catholic Church, Jesus, Mother Mary and all the Saints is simply amazing :) Keep going strong!
NICE!!! (253 A.D.) Bishop Cyprian: “Throne of Peter, the chief church, the Romans.” (Epistle 54:14) “One Church, one chair… another altar cannot be set up, nor a new priesthood… whoever gathers elsewhere scatters.” (Letters 43[40]:5) (Mathew 12:30) “Serpent (Satan) invented heresies and schisms, whereby he might corrupt the truth.” (De Catholicae Ecclesiae Unitate 1, 3-4)
I was just baptized into the Catholic Church on 040321. It was nearly a six year process. Part of the delay was my two previous marriages and part was my husband's previous marriage, and part of it was Covid. It was terribly difficult to have this delay, but now, looking back, I believe that it was the best thing for me. Now, I have absolutely no doubt about my choice.
That's stupid it took you 6 years to get to Jesus. This is what I struggle with. Jesus said come as you are. I just don't understand the catholic church in this since
@@mistybustamante8906 In many ways I'm grateful that it took so long. It's a huge commitment. I considered myself Catholic all along the process. I just couldn't receive the Eucharist. I participated in everything else.
I too am a convert & I understand what a long journey it is but a beautiful one. I was raised a Lutheran & became Catholic at the age of 57. It wasn't easy & I still have issues with my Protatant family but it was beautiful & well worth it.🕊
(253 A.D.) Bishop Cyprian: “Throne of Peter, the chief church, the Romans.” (Epistle 54:14) “One Church, one chair… another altar cannot be set up, nor a new priesthood… whoever gathers elsewhere scatters.” (Letters 43[40]:5) (Mathew 12:30) “Serpent (Satan) invented heresies and schisms, whereby he might corrupt the truth.” (De Catholicae Ecclesiae Unitate 1, 3-4)
As a recent convert, I found this so helpful. And so true! When I finally made my decision to go through RCIA and become Catholic, I finally felt like all the choices I had struggled with in the past were done and finished. I was home. Struggles like whether to choose Buddhism or Christianity, or Protestantism or Catholicism, or follow our families Anglican roots, or give up and go back to my atheist lifestyle, etc etc, were all choices that I could leave behind. I was in the one, universal Church that Christ established. Then to my shock and horror, it quickly became, "So what kind of Catholic are you??". I was like 'NOOOOO MORE CHOICES'. We're just Catholic. Let's just be Catholic. I'm not progressive or conservative. I'm Catholic. I'm not Republican or Democrat. I'm Catholic. I'm not a traditionalist or a liberal. I'm a Catholic. Let's just be Catholic!!
I think the portmanteau word/ need to label everyone is American. Not everyone in the world has familiarity with additional labels. Esp in countries where Catholicism is the religious majority.
I loved my RCIA experience. It helped that my sponsor was my father in law who is, in my mind, a Catholic expert. Easter Vigil was a tremendous experience.
@TheDay Cometh If you're open for a conversation about this topic I'm willing to spend a while answering any questions using the Bible and apostolic Fathers. Outside that, I don't want to waste my time.
@TheDay Cometh Yet, Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, built His Church on Peter the rock, way before the new testament was even written. The same Church authority that later determined which of the over 75 letters written,,were to be included in the new testament and which were not. The same Church authority in Peter the rock and sole key holder, who stood up and put an end to all the debating at the council in Jerusalem, since Scripture alone could not. You are in my prayers! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is True food and Blood True drink
Father Pagano, Ryan and Ryan, I have been waiting for you to feature Keith Nester on your show. Keith has a calling and a charism for teaching and evangelization that is very special and moving. I am a cradle Catholic and I have had a reversion for our faith and I learn from HIM! Please, Please, may you find space to feature him again on your show, and make him a regular commentator/guest! You four have wonderful chemistry together, and I see big things happening for Keith in our faith with his ministry. I pray for you all and enjoy and learn from your work, God bless you all!
Such a great story. Hey Father Rich: I think it would be great if you started each episode with a prayer like this. That really helped put my mind in the right place this morning.
Guys invite Keith again. We need to hear more from him. He's a passionate convert and he's gaining more and more followers both Catholic and non Catholic alike.
I’m a southerner who grew up in a very corrupted form of fundamentalist Christian, it took years of deprogramming but at the same time have loved Jesus, but as I’ve came into my spiritual journey and reaching last year, and it kinda led me to the nugget of knowledge why follow branches of the faith and not go to the root. Now honestly I just wanna come into the root of Christian faith and know what it has to offer.
Convert here! A little over a year ago.. Love seeing talks with converts to hear their experiences also. Specifically what was the turning point in their journey.
I started my journey to conversion a few months ago and it's just gotten richer and more evident that God is calling me to Catholicism. I've listened to so many TCTS episodes...they are a fantastic resource...no topic off limits. When I saw the title come up before the episode was uploaded, i literally laughed out loud! I am grateful to be a member of Father Rich's parish and my son and I will be going through RCIA this year together.
I am a cradle Catholic, and I have met a few converts, and I am amazed at their love for God and how involved they become in Parish Life and charitable ministries.
I am cradle Catholic who had difficulty coming back into the church Keith is one of the people who helped made it easier to come home. I remember when he didn't have very few followers on RUclips. I love the daily rosary I hope he never stops. And I always look forward to in packing the mass I love my parish priest but his accent is so thick I can hardly make heads or tails.
I like Keith, too, and am a Cradle Catholic, too, and a “prodigal daughter” who came home 1.5 years ago and brought my husband with me.. much to the surprise of both of us! Now I work at the church and do apologetics in the comment threads! Welcome home!
I feel you. My parish priest is a sweet guy but the accent is nearly a different language itself. And his singing is so off pitch I am so distracted by it.
Wow Keith! Your tip about not being overwhelmed as a new converted Catholic was so amazingly helpful. The thing is I’m not a new converted Catholic but I am a relatively new faithful Catholic pursuing her personal relationship with Jesus. And I think I’ve definitely been trying to do too much! Thank you thank you thank you.
Keith: So you are one of the souls I pray for each day when I say my rosary! Thank you. At this point in my 73 year journey I need no one or nothing outside of me to “confirm” my faith. I know my Jesus. I KNOW Him. But it is delightful to see the fruits of the labor of the community of Christ. I have never understood why Protestants appear to think Catholics yet need to “claim Jesus as your personal Savior.” “They don’t know us,” I’d think. “We’ve been doing that for 2000 years.” Your good work, Keith, will be one of my rosary intentions from now on. And to the guy in the white shirt on the upper left: Hey, I’m that little ole lady with the rosary and, for your information, we’re changing the world. Keith is proof. Bless all of you.
I read Keith’s book when I was in RCIA. I couldn’t be happier than I am now having joined The Church. So great seeing videos like this one that will help others on their journey into full communion.
NICE!!! (253 A.D.) What a great surprise to find my 4 English speakers broadcasters together!!!. I’m coming back in the faith, unfortunately by myself. Pray for me, I’m trying to find some catholic groups and some kind of support. Lots of battle but now I’m consecrated through Virgin Mary… and it’s something else🙏🏼🥰.
My first time praying the rosary was a pray with me joyful rosary RUclips video because I'm so new and I had no clue what to do. I didn't even have beads. I just knew I needed to and I'm still in the process of actually going to mass and contacting a priest etc to even start to fully be catholic etc. I didn't even pray the full rosary all mysteries just prayed one. Yet it was life changing. I've been so honored to have been led to Christ in a way ive neber known as a baptist. It's been a wonderful journey so far though it's also not easy. I just feel so honored to have had my feet put on the right path. I adore this renewal.
Welcome home! Will pray for you and your family, and say a rosary for you to continue finding the treasures of the Catholic Church! Godbless you Jesus loves you as does mama mary
I cried and laughed through this great episode. Tears because I was so moved by Keith's conversion and the courage it took for him to embrace Our Lord, even if it would cost all worldly goods. Laughter because as a cradle Catholic, I didn't realize that from an outsider's perspective, what we Catholics do can seem so very odd. Yet we do have abundant treasured. Loved the analogy to an overladen buffet. I am very grateful to my parents for giving me my Catholic faith. If not, I don't think I would ever have chosen Catholicism on my own because of what is required to be a disciple of Christ is too hard. You want me to do what? Pick up the cross and share in the ultimate sacrifice of Our Lord? Be willing to put everything on the line, even if it means martyrdom, to follow Christ? Keith, welcome home to the True Church, the only one Our Lord founded.
I heard someone said “being a Catholic is not easy, but it’s the easier way to go to heaven”. We have a lot of resources besides the Sacred Scriptures, the Catechism and of course the Sacraments, but also a lot of devotions, books, saints who inspires us, and now all these awesome channels for us to learn and grow in our faith. The more you learn about Jesus and his Church the more you want to learn, never ends. We’re so blessed to be Catholic.🙏
(354-430 A.D.) St. Augustine: “The one true Church, the catholic Church, fighting all heresies.” (A Sermon to Catechumens on the Creed, 14) (412 A.D.) St. Augustine: “Whoever is separated from this Catholic Church the wrath of God rests upon him.” (Letters 141:5)
I'm sure you've heard that converts make the best Catholics. It's true, I think. I see this every day. As a cradle Catholic, it was converts, near converts, and especially an Eastern Orthodox who, as we had discussions, caused me to investigate my own faith. I am now actively Catholic (I guess a revert) and want to develop more. I have watched Keith Nestor, as well as Scott Hahn, Steve Ray, etc. Wonderful explanations for me. Thank you for a wonderful video.

Sometimes I think cradle Catholics who left and then returned (even after many years and struggles) make the best Catholics because they had a personal experience with God that overtakes/overwhelms them spiritually so they can let go of the hurts that the Church can sometimes do and/or the misunderstandings that happened! They know the Eucharist and it's meaning. Ad I write this: they can be called converts too!
What I think is Keith is a passionate catholic convert due to his passion and love for Christ and his church. Thanks Keith for transmitting this passion and love for Christ and his church to us all
my sister converted into a born again christian just because she married one. So glad and happy to see this. Im sharing this video with her. I hope and pray that she is open minded enough to consider watching this. Thanks to Keith for his very inspiring testimony.

I am in the process of converting from Southern Baptist to Catholic. I love your show & even became a $50 Patron because I have learned & still learning so much from ya’ll. Also doing the Bible of the Day & Catechism by the Day & subscribed to the Hallow app. I feel so at peace now. I have had 3 cancers & even died for 37 minutes & came back to life & have had 39 surgeries. Thank y’all & God Bless You 😊🙏

Hi. I just saw your channel and a new sub here from the Philippines, but i have been a sub of sir keith for some time now. Amazing conversion of this "on fire for Christ" person. Our blessed Mother has touched a lot of people. I have recently wantched a Filipino evangelical pastor who had been taking part in smashing statues of saints and Mary. One day, he heard Jesus in his heart saying: "Why do you hate my Mother so much?" The rest is history. God bless and my prayerful support for your great channel.
I'm a reconvert for God willing the last time, and Keith is a real inspiration, and I'm checking out these videos to strengthen my faith and my resolve to remain in the Church
Never underestimate the power of an old lady wielding a rosary 📿 Daily she storms Purgatory, the the World, and Heaven itself, to bring all closer to God.
Father Amorth (Rome’s #1 Exorcists): “Satan told me if Christians knew the POWER of the ROSARY, it would be the END of me!” “An Exorcist Tells His Story”
I have watched for a couple of days, (I'm exploring conversion myself as I have been married to a Roman Catholic for 33 years and I grew up in the Lutheran faith), and I like you guys are "manly men" but have a heart for others.
The Catholic Church is a Rich Feast like Keith Nestor says. There is so much. I have a Devotion to Saint Anthony and St Francis I think because these saints were the first Saints who's Intercession I asked for. My Conversion was very long around 20 years In which I went to Mass prayed the Rosary, learned all the Mass Prayers, Read the Bible but didnt seek confirmation . I didnt take the Sacrements due to being been baptised Anglican as a Child. I had gone to an Anglican School Prayed, Sang Hymns and had a love of Our Lord but we hardly attended a Church. I later came te realisisation that the Catholic Church had the answers to my Spiritual needs and I thirsted for Confession, The Eucharist and the Sacrements. Please understand it took me so long because I had many personal issues and was not a regular Mass Attender until 4 years ago . From the point of Spiritual Testimony of So Many People who attest to the Catholic Church there is absolutely no Reason not be Catholic or not to Join the Church. As it turned out my Knowledge of Catholic Prayer, Mass, The Catholic Bible and my Baptism meant I could go to Confirmation quickly. I really didnt realise I was there with the Faith Already. For those thinking of becoming Catholics from Anglican there is The Catholic Charismatic Renewal with Similar Events to Evangelical Churches with Lively Christian Music, Lay Brother and Sisters, Eucharistic Adoration, Charisms, Words of Knowledge, Healing Services, Prayer Mininistry etc. We have High and Low Mass which depends on the Catholic Church, Some Have lively Modern Choirs, Many Prayer Groups, Bible Study Groups, Rosary Groups, Traditional Hynms and Choirs, Youth Ministrys, Out Reach Street Chaplains, Marys Meals, Clothing Groups for Babies, Food Banks for the Poor. Trad Latin Vespers and Trad Mass. All kinds of Ministries and Orders who have many areas of Spirituality and Many Workshops and Retreats, for Catholics we have Pilgrimages to Many Holy Sites in Many Countries. Its a Rich Feast in the Catholic Church and we treat each other as a Family like the Holy Family

I am born and raised Catholic. Only turned into an on-fire Catholic a year ago due to a “dark night” of my life. O happy fault! Anyone who finds The Faith, or LOOKS for truth, will fall in love 😍 with Her (the church). Many protestants are on fire for Jesus! We need Keith Nestor-type converts to energize falling away and lukewarm Catholics. One word for Catholicism - beautiful.
Mariae same here been on fire after a dark night in my life. GOD saved me because he wanted my heart, and soul! I love him so much! Godbless you and I will pray for you 🙏

Please pray for my boyfriend. He's been struggling in RCIA, and considering leaving. He is very close to his Protestant grandma who is not open to discuss what she misunderstands about Catholic teachings. I love his grandma, but I wish she would be open to ideas different from her own.
Acts 14:23 “And when they had ORDAINED to them ELDERS in every church and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.” KJV says elders, but Koine Greek version says presbyteros, which in Latin is presbyter, which in English is Priest!
Oh my gosh I started crying when he said the Lord said to him “I am the way”. That hit me so hard I don’t have words to describe it. My gosh, this program was so good. The gentleman who spoke about Psalm 119 and the way he spoke about it. How the Lord lights are foot for our path. I really enjoyed this. I pray one day that I can make it with my daughter, whom by the way converted to be a Mormon!!! to Medjugorje. I ask for many prayers for her to come back home, as to what was she was baptized as, a Catholic. God Bless✝️🙏📿
The problem I’ve found is that the RCIA programs in many diocese are very weak because there is lack of involvement by the parish priests and the lay catechists are not well educated.
Same, luckily I had decided to become Catholic because they certainly didn’t seem to care. Most of the people in the class were Catholics who for whatever reason had never been confirmed and were doing it to marry a confirmed Catholic so only half of them had theirs hearts in it. I was one of two converts( the other left after a couple of classes). It was hard to ask “Protestant” questions in a room full of Catholic lead by the deacons wife ( which really confused me).
I’m a cradle Catholic. I thought Keiths shirt was so cool, I went into his merchandise and order the Rosary crew shirt along with the convert one. Decided it would be a good idea to wear it to church. My childhood priest almost had a heart attack when he saw it. After I explained he had a good laugh and reminded me he was getting old. Got to love all of our priest. Thank and God bless all of you!

I am converting to the Catholic faith from a Pentecostal background. The reasons being peace. I find so much in the prayers, the rosary, the mass. Second, Protestants are wishy washy in their dogma, every faith/church ( and there are 100’s!) is right! Keith is right, too many denominations. Thank you all so much. God bless!

His conversion story and my reversion have a lot of similarities. Encountering the Mother of Jesus and hearing the voice of God within my heart made it impossible to do anything but be in full communion with the Church.
(740 B.C.) Mary is Mother of God! “Virgin shall bear a son Immanuel.” (God with us) “Mighty God.” (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6) (180 A.D.) Bishop Melito: “Mary mother of God.” (Transitus Mariae) (250 A.D.) This Saturday, I am going to meet with our priest to set up a day and time for me to be brought into the church!!!!!! It will possibly be either Saturday, August 14th or Sunday the 15th. I have been waiting for this and working on it for 13 years. I can't wait!!!! Update: It will be Saturday the 14th at the evening Mass😊
@@godsgirl0019 It went perfectly!! Now, our two sons have been confirmed and our daughter had her first communion this year!!! It feels like it was so much longer ago than almost two years 😔 The wonderful priest from India who was the major influence on us had to return to India the spring of 2022. It sure hasn't been the same without him😔 We love all of the priests, but he was amazing!
Really looking at Catholic faith from being a "none" but man, I do have trouble (I still wince) when I hear the part about "eating flesh and blood." I mean on a mystical level I'm coming to understand and even appreciate the intimacy and depth of it, but still just hearing it is so mid evil weird to me, but my mind is opening... BTW, I've come to be interested in the Catholic church by remembering a very kind teacher who was helpful to me at a teenager, and going to his family's Christmas midnight mass. Always thought it was beautiful. Then I went to Rome and fell in love with St. Peter's Basilica and "The Pieta" (Mary holding Jesus) moved me to tears. Have gone to Christmas midnight mass a few times here in the U.S. and always enjoyed it. But the thing that really inspired me and found me down the Catholic RUclips rabbit hole about a year ago, was rediscovering the original soundtrack (before it was a movie and stage play) of Jesus Christ Superstar! Yes, I have heard that this "rock opera" offended some Christians, but for some reason as an adult it really spoke to me. There was a story, and characters and passion. I had only known about the life of Jesus on the most superficial level. My mother always said she never believed in the divinity of Jesus, and I never went to Sunday school. I'm a real live heathen! Anyways... enough about that, I'm enjoying the podcast, but yeah, there are still certain things that make me go "WHAT?" Learning.
Your not a heathen your beautifully and wonderfully made in his image! God loves you and cares about you. Mary wants to draw you closer to her beloved son, so you can experience all his love and wonders! Remember no one can love Jesus more than his own mother! But wants to draw us closer. Will pray for you and your family!
Enjoyed the conversion experience and discussions. Yes, cautioning RCIA is a good point. Much has been watered down since Vat II. Some RCIA laypersons really dont have good knowledge or proper training according to the Catechism. I TOTALLY agree with using the Baltimore Catechism. Here's a PDF link. It's very basic and easy and then will get deeper as you go. If you don't understand a word, search on internet, but be sure to state "Catholic meaning of usury", or "Catholic meaning of pride", etc, so the definitions remain scriptural. Also, be aware of which links you click on: who it is and background as far as sound Catholicism or rogue laypersons, orgs, or priests, bishops. Satan is really attacking the Church with heresy and you do need to find conservative-type people to get the correct answers. Some new Catholics or converts may not have had good catechesis and still have Protestant type ideas or beliefs stuck in there head. I was raised Catholic, attended Catholic school 1-8. I did not receive good Catechism at all and did not make Confirmation with my class, which was probably unheard of back in '83. But it was post Vat II and much changed the Church, which was not supposed to occur: lack of Gregorian chant, Holy Eucharist on the tongue, "Eucharistic ministers", not kneeling at the Sanctus and Agnus Dei, not retaining Latin in the Mass, which was only allowed in certain situations, NOT being the RULE, but the EXCEPTION, many modern churches devoid of the statues, sacred art, stained glass windows, organs, communion rail, etc. It took the awe, beauty, and sacredness out most Churches. There was more of a comeback with Pope Benedict's moto proprio, if I remember that correctly, on the Eucharistic liturgy of Latin Masses. You don't have to go to a Traditional Latin Mass; however, it has been around for centuries as the sole rite, until Vat II. Personally, it (Vat II) caused confusion which led to division in the Church. That's a deeper story, and why we have to fight for our true Church. SO, if you attend what we call Novus Ordo Mass, it's still valid and can still be beautiful, as long as the priest follows the formulas and stays faithful to the Creed. A good indication is a priest who faces East (ad orientum), away from the people and toward Jerusalem. That really helps with the prayerfulness of the Mass. I attend both. If I had a TLM near me, I'd go regularly there, but there are 4 of them that are an hour or more away, and sometimes not convenient, especially if I'm helping my parents out of town on weekends. The thing about the Catholic Churches, that if they are inline with Church teaching, it doesn't matter if the priest gives a boring or mediocre homily, or if there's 6-10 Eucharistic ministers crowding the altar, distracting one from the Eucharist, which should be the only focus, you can block out everything (it takes soulful practice and interior mental practice to do this) so, that nothing bothers you during the Mass, especially the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. A suggestion also, to dive more soulfully into the Mass, is to do what was taken away: kneel at the Sanctus (Holy, Holy, Lord...), stand when the people stand again, and after the priest says "Peace be with you" and congregation responds "and with your spirit", kneel and stay in prayer. That is when everyone does the Sign of Peace which was thrown in after Vat II, that wasn't supposed to. Certain persons who rose into higher places, were trying to Protestantize the Church. If you notice, a the part I just mentioned, kneeling at the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God you take away the sins...), that the peace breaks up the WORSHIP of God and places the focus on greeting each other. "Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do." Then you hear AGAIN, a bunch of pews slamming down in the church. SO, distracting from the GOD of the Holy Sacrifice. I wish more priests, post-Vat II realized it. it's really Satan who is trying to take the sacredness and worship and adoration away from God. I'm surprised more don't realize it. I came back to the Church in '95. Moved to a new area (outskirts of a metropolitan area), I was practicing Baptist at the time (3 yrs; jumping around, searching for truth). I looked in the local phone book and there were pages of Baptist Churches, all different. You never know what you were going to get. I would be attending by myself. I felt a bit overwhelmed. Then the "though" came to me, maybe I'll just go up past town to the Catholic. I grabbed a bulletin that was on the pew. First thing I saw was "Everything You Wanted to Know About Catholicism". I thought, "I wonder if this could give me answers I never had as a kid". So, I attended that Thursday. It was taught by a woman who had her Master of Theology from the University of Steubenville, in Ohio. I had no idea that meant anything at the time. The first class I was blown away as it set theology at pre-creation and continued on. The class met every Thursday for almost 2 yrs, except summer. IT WAS AMAZING!!! i wished everyone had that experience. If I was smart enough, I'd go around and teach it. I was ALL IN an dON FIRE after the first two-three classes. Now, in 2021, it's been a journey. God has blessed me more than I could ask for. Not with finances, surely not with an easy life, but a group of friends who are true Christians. My parents came back to the Church, then my brother, and his wife converted and they raised their kids in the faith, my aunt and her family, my uncle and his family (still working on her husband and mine, as well as my oldest, because, I was married before (annulled) and he went to live with his dad for HS, so he fell away), many friends and friend's family members. Still more to go, but everyone's journey is different. PRAY them into the Church by the Blood of Jesus and HIs promise to answer when we ask in His name and TRULY believe it-that's the faith that moves mountains. Know the beauty and faith of our Church and share it where/when you can if the Holy Spirit inspires you (don't ever force and don't get in battles, just become quiet, say okay, and change the conversation) then let them mull on it. Sorry so long. Guess I was inspired....
@25:48 …. You’re talking about me. Lifelong Protestant. Idk lately it just feels like my Christian church isn’t “doing it for me” and I see the amazing spiritual service of Catholicism.
I became a Roman Catholic in 1976. I've made a few mistakes in my life, but becoming a Roman Catholic was not one of them. The church is a family, and now I'm a member of that family, Thanks be to God.
189 A.D.) St. Irenaeus: “Apostles [Peter and Paul] founded the church [of Rome]… succession… Linus the office of the episcopate (office of a Bishop)... Clement the bishopric.” (Against Heresies, Book III, Chapter 3:2-4) (Acts 1:20) (393 A.D.) St. Jerome: “Peter chief of the apostles… to Rome in the second year of Claudius (42 A.D.)… chair there for twenty-five years… wrote two epistles called CATHOLIC… Victor thirteenth bishop in Rome from Peter.” “Catholic Answers: The Papacy” (2015) (De viris illustribus, Chapter 1 Simon Peter, Chapter 34 Pope Victor) (CCC 862-863)
Although RCIA was important for me, I didn’t learn much that was new because I’d been reading intensely for years. What was more important was the support of the community. I was suffering from extreme opposition from my closest loved ones and I was leaving a tradition that I had been with for decades
You are Dammed if you receive the Eucharist “Unworthily.” (I Corinthians 11:27-29) How can that be if its symbolic? (405 A.D.) Theodore: “[Christ] did NOT say, ‘This is the SYMBOL of but, this is my body.’ my blood,’ the EUCHARIST.” (Catechetical Homilies 5:1) (33 A.D.) “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have NO life in you.” (John 6:53) (Mt. 26:26-29) (Luke 22:19-20) (70 A.D.) The Didache: Sunday, “Offer the Eucharist… in every place & time… a pure sacrifice.” (14:1-3) (CCC 1322-1419) (430 B.C.) “Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering.” (Malachi 1:11) (189 A.D.) St. Irenaeus: “Eucharist of the blood and the body of Christ is made.” (Against Heresies, Book 5, Chapter 2, Verse 3) (110 A.D.) St. Ignatius (Letter to the Smyrnaeans 6:2, 7:1) (155 A.D.) Justin Martyr (First Apology 66): “Eucharist is the flesh and blood of that Jesus.”
@asaph vapor you are sadly very unloving for a Christian.

My sister’s and I were raised Methodist and then I was baptist all my adult life. I have made new friends in my RCIA class. I love the catholic faith and I absolutely love my parish!

In RCIA now. Just had my Rite of Acceptance last Saturday and I’m happy to be coming home. Excited to learn more.

Protestantism and Catholicism are both Christianity
I think the portmanteau word/ need to label everyone is American. Not everyone in the world has familiarity with additional labels. Esp in countries where Catholicism is the religious majority.
I loved my RCIA experience. It helped that my sponsor was my father in law who is, in my mind, a Catholic expert. Easter Vigil was a tremendous experience.

Now honestly I just wanna come into the root of Christian faith and know what it has to offer.

Fantastic video! Keith is awesome! 🙌🏼
Keith Nester is an amazing person called by God for a purpose. Go Keith. I am in full support of both ministries.
God Bless your wife dude! She went with it! Great woman!! SMART WOMAN!
Excellent point on just BEING CATHOLIC and being you. Just learn and allow yourself to evolve into what God is calling you to! Excellent advice, guys!
NICE!!!

Love Keith and The Catholic Talk Show.
Both of these channels have been on my subscribed and notification list. Great content. God bless you all.
Me too!

So happy I came across this channel. I converted in 2005 from baptist and thankfully my baptism was considered valid.

I'm in the process of converting and this has answered so many questions I didn't even know I had yet! Thank you for the insightful discussion.

I really enjoy the Catholic Talk .. you guys are great 👍🏼.. 🙏🏻🌞😊 Amen
A-mazing!!! Great testimony!👍
Sweet Testimony! Viva Christo Rey!
Hey, I just saw your comment. Are you part of the Regnum Christi family? :)
Great interview: Keith is so real and has worked through the tough questions in a practical way.
Keith Nester is cool. At least he seems like it on his RUclips channel. Never met him in person.
tony got any questions ? ruclips.net/video/gnNieV_suxU/видео.html
He's a great guy in person too!
He and his wife are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. He walks the walk and talks the talk.
And come and join us at Keith's Rosary Crew every evening - we come from mostly America but some of us are from at least 50 other countries.
When I saw Keith, I clicked on the video, but I thought I was on his channel so I was so surprised to see all 4 of you! Great surprise!
I'm a reconvert for God willing the last time, and Keith is a real inspiration, and I'm checking out these videos to strengthen my faith and my resolve to remain in the Church

I love watching Keith’s channel! This was great! I learned some new things here tonight! Thank you all!
Thank you! God bless you all ❤. Greetings from Germany!

Godbless you and I will pray for you 🙏
Same here! It’s a beautiful journey ❤

Please pray for my boyfriend. He's been struggling in RCIA, and considering leaving. He is very close to his Protestant grandma who is not open to discuss what she misunderstands about Catholic teachings. I love his grandma, but I wish she would be open to ideas different from her own.
I'm sorry about that. I'm praying a Memorare for your sweetie and for his abuela. "Jesus, I trust in You!"
Acts 14:23 “And when they had ORDAINED to them ELDERS in every church and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.”
KJV says elders, but Koine Greek version says presbyteros, which in Latin is presbyter,
which in English is Priest!
Wonderful show today. Thank you Keith for sharing.

Keith Nester : *CONVERT*
I grew up Catholic
So I have a ton of respect for you all
I’m a Roman Catholic watch this daily.
GREAT BUDDY!!! 😀
Love you guys and Keith
What a great video. I really enjoyed watching this. Thank you.
Too many are 1 step above vacation bible school
I’m a cradle Catholic. I thought Keiths shirt was so cool, I went into his merchandise and order the Rosary crew shirt along with the convert one. Decided it would be a good idea to wear it to church. My childhood priest almost had a heart attack when he saw it. After I explained he had a good laugh and reminded me he was getting old. Got to love all of our priest. Thank and God bless all of you!
Two of my favorite channels in one video 😍🤤❤️🙏🏽
Ah guys! I was hoping y’all would join in on the rosary crew before the show started! Love the show, keep up the work y’all!!!

God bless!
Welcome, Brother in Christ Keith Nester.
Can you guys do a show on revelation and how to answer Protestant accusation of Catholicism in revelation.
The book of Revelation is the most catholic one in scripture, if you want to purchase the lamb's supper by Scott Hahn
Fun conversation! The Catholic Church has so many charisms, but we're all Catholic!
Converted from Baptist in 2000. It was mostly the Early Church, the Pentateuch, and Acts that convinced me. See you on Rosary Crew! 👊🏼

ANOTHER AWESOME SHOW 😊❤️😊❤️
His conversion story and my reversion have a lot of similarities. Encountering the Mother of Jesus and hearing the voice of God within my heart made it impossible to do anything but be in full communion with the Church.
(740 B.C.) Mary is Mother of God! “Virgin shall bear a son
Immanuel.” (God with us) “Mighty God.” (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6)
(180 A.D.) Bishop Melito: “Mary mother of God.” (Transitus Mariae)
(250 A.D.) Sub Tuum Prayer: “O Theotokos [Mother of God].” (1522 A.D.) Martin Luther: “Mother of God.” (Betbüchlein) “Mary’s soul free from all sin.” (Sermon: “On the Day of the Conception of the Mother of God,”)
15.) The Rosary is NOT “Vain repetitions.” (Mathew 6:7) Psalm 136 repeats “Love endures for ever.” 26X (CCC 971) * Jesus prays the same prayer 3X (Mathew 26:44), 4 creatures pray forever “Holy, Holy, Holy.” (Isaiah 6:1-3) (Revelation 4:8) * Rosary is about Mary & Jesus “Hail full of grace.” “Blessed among women.” (Luke 1:28, 42) Crucifixion, Resurrection etc., *
God Bless you Keith.
This Saturday, I am going to meet with our priest to set up a day and time for me to be brought into the church!!!!!! It will possibly be either Saturday, August 14th or Sunday the 15th. I have been waiting for this and working on it for 13 years. I can't wait!!!!
Update: It will be Saturday the 14th at the evening Mass😊
Welcome home Jennifer! How's your journey going? Will pray for you and your family. Remember Jesus and mama mary love you.
How did it go
@@godsgirl0019 It went perfectly!!
AWESOME!!!
WE LOVE YOU!!! 😀
Love your show. Praise be Jesus Christ 🙏
@25:48 …. You’re talking about me. Lifelong Protestant. Idk lately it just feels like my Christian church isn’t “doing it for me” and I see the amazing spiritual service of Catholicism.
Thank you for your testimony of conversion! I have subscribed to your channel. Welcome home!
I became a Roman Catholic in 1976. I've made a few mistakes in my life, but becoming a Roman Catholic was not one of them. The church is a family, and now I'm a member of that family, Thanks be to God.

Love seeing Father crack up!🙌
Although RCIA was important for me, I didn’t learn much that was new because I’d been reading intensely for years. What was more important was the support of the community. I was suffering from extreme opposition from my closest loved ones and I was leaving a tradition that I had been with for decades
This is an essential aspect. Jesus created a community with his disciples, he never wants us to be alone but to have companions for the journey.
I watch both your channels! Keep it going you’re all great! Signed....Hect....oops I mean Rafael! 😂😊
I bough the book and I highly recommend it!
You don’t Decide it’s a calling To our heart in the rosary.
Keith, I just joined the Rosary & podcast. Will definitely send in questions. Thank you and May God Bless you and your family✝️🙏📿
