I never bought premium guns brand new for the reason that I know myself not having the self-control to upgrade them anyway. Only one I bought bnew was a GC16 Predator (intermediate) and that was buyer's remorse the second I pulled the trigger, literally. The only "premium" gun I was somewhat happy OOTB was my Amoeba AM014, but then again I got it 2nd hand and upgraded the internals except the gearbox shell and its proprietary EFCS.

How does a varicap mag work? I can't find any internal schematics of how it works and am worried that if I over load it when it is at 30 rounds, I might break it. I'm asking this because one of my dday varicaps switch is stuck at 30 rounds and will not switch over to the 130 capacity.
I had the same problem with the 20/80 ones. It's as easy as taking it from the Pmag Sheath, and unscrew the screws on both sides, as soon as you unscrew it you will find the normal midcap parts (A long tunnel, a spring and a follower) and the switching capacity mechanism, which is the switch itself with the spring and a black piece of plastic which blocks the follower (but not the spring) from being pushed back more than 30bb on your case. It's a really easy mechanism, altough each time I need to switch that particular mag from 20 to 80 I have to disassemble again and put it on 80 and close again, for 6 euros I won't complain much when I bought ten of them.
@@lluchbenjaminduranniell8044 what happens if you hear rattling bbs and you dont see any coming up to the top of the mag? It happened once for me and I had to take out the spring to "reset" my mag. The only real reason I buy li ions is so that way if I have a gun that's a b**** to change the battery on instead of changing the battery, why not make it so I don't have to change the battery in the first place. In a m4 its not necessary. I originally intended to use a lion in my RPK16 until I realized I could not close the dust cover because the battery was too thick. I do run one in my cuma plat mp5 since I got the version with the m4 style stock which is miniature and does not have a battery and I have to argue with it to get it off. The way you know your ammo is goes if you didn't buy it from Dick's sporting goods or Big 5. I typically do use older ammo after a while just to get rid of it, but of course I hold on to it until I can actually get out and shoot it. I also shoot the trees in my backyard to empty the mags in the case of a pistol at least, but with everything else I just returned them to the bottle or the bacg
finally... i love my arcturus flash mags way more than any midcap i have.... 300 bb, wind it once and it will feed up all the 0.32g bbs on 30-35 rps without touching it again... And they are cheap...
Rare non-obese airsofter opinion: high caps rattle like crazy when running and mid caps are totally silent and fit an adequate amount of bbs so i prefer them. My mouth breathing is yet to overpower the rattle but at some point they may just sound about the same.
Non obese reply- if you’re moving correctly they don’t rattle, and if you’re running and they do rattle it doesn’t matter cause running attracts a ton of attention
@@Grega-tron where i play (usually with ~5 friends) running crouched or running straight the mag makes without a doubt the most noise. Last game i put my high cap on the ground and ran cus of the noise.
I bought in to the Titan hype, but after seeing what it was & yes I was a numpty on it, just a pair of standard 18650 cells. So now I'm waiting on various sizes of Li-Ion batteries to arrive and wire them up myself. I get batteries the size I need, and don't pay a premium. Of course this could all blow up in my face, pun intended, and I'll be the same idiot I started as. You're spot on, we are all idiots until we learn better, but some people are unwilling to learn.
@@sterkriger2572 not all 18650 batteries are the same chemistry, or capacity. Laptop batteries are about 2C, but I've seen Li-Ion batteries up to about 10C. If Titan Power's cells were only 2C, they'd have a discharge rate of 7A, and wouldn't be able to move much at all.

@@WishWashification Krytac is a great £200 gun... if only it wasn't £400
Ngl. If you cant sneak with highcaps, you cant sneak with midcaps.
As a sweaty neck beard who enjoys warhammer I feel personally attacked. You’re spot on but I’m fucking fuming 😂

The tattoo on the right wrist... that wouldn't be from a certain band's 6th album cover, would it??
Wham?
I bought in to the Titan hype, but after seeing what it was & yes I was a numpty on it, just a pair of standard 18650 cells. So now I'm waiting on various sizes of Li-Ion batteries to arrive and wire them up myself.
I get batteries the size I need, and don't pay a premium. Of course this could all blow up in my face, pun intended, and I'll be the same idiot I started as.
You're spot on, we are all idiots until we learn better, but some people are unwilling to learn.
18650 have a 2c discharge… that’s not good for airsoft
@@sterkriger2572 not all 18650 batteries are the same chemistry, or capacity. Laptop batteries are about 2C, but I've seen Li-Ion batteries up to about 10C. If Titan Power's cells were only 2C, they'd have a discharge rate of 7A, and wouldn't be able to move much at all.
Imaintain that Jonathon Pie based his character on NegAir..
I know who he is, but I've been this way for 41 years...
Did you mean "Frenemies"?
Love-hate relationships is where it's at :D
SECRET TUUUUNNEEEEL!
It’s a mutual love hate relationship lol
Lmao I buy random Amazon lipos and they last like a year but they’re like $8 each😂
