Happning mate am 18 years old n i have picked up an attempt murder and im looking at 7, obviously theres a chance for parole but ill need to do my sentence in polmont unless i can get a transfer to castle huntly. Whats castle actually like is there access to a gym and a couple home stays a week , a dont actually know anyone thats served there , but polmonts a pigs die ive done a weeks lie down there and hated it

I was up the castle as a 16 yr old back in 1986 and everything you said the Peter section and children’s home doors, Formica worktop n sink, window like Glenochil or Kerelaw closeblock you took me back to all these places between summer 85- Christmas 86’. Back then no one left the castle for home leave until their lib date, or doing the OFF. Well apart fae going to the fitba at the weekend and then you had the carrot dangler of having to get a grade which usually took up to 4 mths, I got mine after 9mths probably down to being immature and constantly getting reports for cheek and insolence 😂.. that was 37 yr ago and not much has changed regards the castle. Regards the para about the screw doing the rounds outside when ye was on the swedgers Kris? I mind 1st night up there was January time and there’s this dude outside my window shining a torch in….. and me not knowing that was the done thing up there. Nearly $#@t ma kegs🤣😆. Nice 1 mate. ✌️.
Heard one in Barlinnie were two guys were competing about crime. One said his bed broke and he just levelled it out with £50 notes and the other said “so whit a stole Marie antoniettes cello and the duke of wellingtons scabard 🤣
Got 5 days leave at Xmas up there,came back cpl days before new year and they took us off night sanitation till after new year because they knew the sections woulda just been carnage wae everyone packing after being out 😂
