Show some respect to one of the best forwards in EU history. If this guy played today he would be a top 5 pick and multiple all-star player. He dominated in europe and for short 4 years also showed he can easly play in NBA and have good numbers. Those Celtics teams sucked and he had to work for every minute he got because during those time eu players were still considered kinda of a joke. Is amazing to me how little knowledge usa fans have about rest of the world.

Kukoc won everything Dino won together with him in Europe, both with the national team and Jugoplastika team that was a Euroleage champion two times in a row, but Kukoc also obviously also has 3 NBA rings, so Kukoc is also supposed to be in the HoF. Petrovic also won with the national team everything, won Euroleague two times (not with them), was MVP of the Euroleague a couple of times... He should be in there too...
I'm having problems with the guys like Reggie Miller in the Hall of Fame. I love Reggie, but he was a very very very good player, not one of the best of his generation.

Too bad he was under a Towel Waving Lunatic Coach (ML Carr) and some average joe player like Dee Brown, Pervis Ellison, Todd Day, Greg Minor, Todd Mundt, Rick Fox. Webber is one of my favorite players ever but he never won anything at any level. Dino won all there is to win in european and international basketball and was part of the team that prompted the USA to create the Dream Team not to be embarassed again on international competitions. The Hall of Fame is about the contribution to the game of basketball, not just nba highlights and regular season stats. What is disrespectful is never aknowledging the greatness of others and being thankful for what they brought to an ever evolving game. Without 1900s World Champion Yugoslavia there wouldn't have been no 1992 Dream Team, pay respect to those who made it happen.

I'm sorry, but he shouldn't have even been considered for what used to be the most prestigious achievement in Basketball, the NBA Hall of Fame. Nominating him above so many of our greatest players is a shameful insult. He wasn't even top 10 amongst his contemporaries in the 90's. If Tom Gugliotta was from Uzbekistan he would've gotten in.
