    Greatest Pacer ever! Being a resident of the great state of IND and loyal Pacers fan for 20 years, you see a lot of Miller jersey's still to this day. I myself have a weathered, faded, and heavily used Miller jersey that's far too small for me now yet I haven't got it in me to get rid of it. It was always be on my wall in memory of my childhood full of screaming, "GO PACERS!!"

    One of the best clutch shooters out there.
    When he gets the ball in the dying seconds of a close game, fans of opposing teams are litterally gasping because they know their team will likely get killed by him.

  • @iloveshenaegrimes
    @iloveshenaegrimes 12 лет назад +3

    the game back then was a fuck load more physical than now, pushing off was fine, jordan did it numerous times

  • @rayanthonycastro1245
    @rayanthonycastro1245 10 лет назад +11

    many people don't like reggie coz they said that he is arrogant. i am not a fan of indiana pacers, i am a big fan of jordan and the bulls but i am a big fan of reggie too.

    • @Amick44
      @Amick44 6 лет назад

      So am I. Reggie (Dumars, too) was one of the few who would stand up to MJ in his prime. Better, nope. But stood his ground better than most.

  • @funakiexpressV2

    definitely, looking at his stat line alone its crazy how he's overlooked

  • @mrdunkalicious
    @mrdunkalicious 12 лет назад +2

    The Pacers were irrelevant after Reggie left and he was a multiple time all star and a great scorer and lead his teams to deep playoff runs
    he wasn't a rebounder he was 185 ilbs and he wasn't a great leaper but he did a lot of other things well...hes one of the greatest shooters of all time

      Lol Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all time and it’s not even close.

    • @Amick44
      @Amick44 6 лет назад +1

      Steph may be. And he had FAR more help than Reggie ever did.

    • @leftbenchplayaa
      @leftbenchplayaa 6 лет назад

      Mick A yea but the reason for that is because Steph makes his teammates so much better it’s not even funny.

    • @Amick44
      @Amick44 6 лет назад

      He (Steph) does. He is a distributor and creator. Which Reggie wasn't. But he still has easily a superior cast as well.

  • @kj_sh604
    @kj_sh604 11 лет назад +1

    Reggie Miller has a very Unorthodox Form, Ray Allen has a very nice form but i would consider Reggie a better shooter because he had to move off the ball just to get a look, he also fades,drift and leans on contested jumpshots (he makes them) and he is the first guy i saw with the ability make contested 3 pointers as if he was wide open. Reggie Deserves a ring

  • @Manofsteeeeel
    @Manofsteeeeel 11 лет назад +1

    miller did it in the playoffs, where it really counts. t-mac did it in just a normal regular season game.. playoffs = more pressure

      Jamage007 you’re right but it does separate legends between legends. For example MJ and Allen Iversion.

    True story about two & half years ago my family & I were on vacation in florida & my dad stopped to buy oranges & ended up having a conversation with the guy sitting outside & he introduced himself as reggie miller the basketball player & then told me to ask my brother about boys (because i'm single) & then told my brother to listen to his parents because they are wise people(he's been going through a rebelious stage) & he did'nt know why he was telling us, & i'd never head of him before that!

    As a childhood Knicks fan, i HATED the Pacers and Bulls. Miller and Jordan were Knick Killers, but man, did it make for some amazing 90's basketball

    Folks, believe me on this. Those Pacer teams were NOTHING without Reggie. Some decent players, Person, Jalen, Smits, Mark Jackson. But they would be lucky to be mediocre (if that ) without Reggie.

    hi
    He made nba dollar !!! singlehandedly created a rivalry between 2 nba teams. made a small market team relevant and marketable. provided epic eye pop out of head clutch moments, loveable guy Stayed with same team 2 decades.
    cannot defend the rebounds. and he was an offensive black hole.
    however. it is called the hall of fame not hall of stats lol.
    With the above in mind why does it take jamaal wilks (who has the stats and 4x championships) 27 years to achieve hof status. ????

    You are right, man. Try to put some muscle to Kevin Durant and he won't look the same on scoring and the total offence will slow down. Larry Johnson was pure muscled back then, but his efficiency wasn't like Reggie Miller or Kevin Durant. So muscle ain't a factor in NBA
