The 3rd Wave Incarnons were rather underpowered. Some were barely better than standard weapons, with others having questionnable interactions and mechanics. Last week, DE shipped a bunch of buffs for them to bring them up to par. Namely, Angstrum Incarnon now charges off body shots instead of headshots, just like Torid Incarnon! With other stat updates to Incarnon perks, ricochet and homing changes, the Angstrum Incarnon has become much more enjoyable to use. What can it do now? And how good exactly has it become?

you know its gonna be satisfying to play with a weapon when you hold down left mouse button and all you hear is a geiger counter
Angstrum is definetly the best one of this rotation imo, not in terms of sheer power, because that title goes to Boar, but in terms of having power, fun factor and being easy to use. Gammacor on the other hand is still a letdown, even after the buffs, the power is lacking and 5 meters of pull range is so bad you can't even use it as an utility Incarnon. Also, what's up with the Incarnon having Angstrum levels of recoil?! >.
This weapon is hilarious on a Mag. Grouping abilities make it a snap to charge the gauge, and the ricochet shots are affected by the bubble

It also has a fun niche with Mag, iirc Xata's too: It can hit the same target twice! Punchtrhough needs a 2nd target to hit the 1st again, also pretty nice that she makes charging it so, so easy. Too bad it doesn't do too well vs. status-capped enemies. My Mag's 2ndary slot is very flexible, I usually use a primary and prime with Xoris, Zenistar (Yep) or Contagion, Wolf Sledge if I wanna have even more fun and make my bubbles fly.
I love this thing, it's fun as hell.
For angstrum incarnon the buff just enough for the rest like gorgon/gammacor need more more buff
Its fun to use with biting frost, just wish I could put pax bolt on it XD
Use corrosive/heat, sexy riven, arcane precision and smile
I keep seeing people saying angstrum is just fun.
I have yet to find anything that lasts more than 4 or 5 shots of my angstrum in SP outside of bosses.
1 2 1 incarnon evos. Last one could be 1 or 2 doesn't matter.

Secondary encumber arcane for extra random statuses to further boost galvanized shot.
It always has 3 different statuses it can apply for galvanized shot with a 74% status chance. Corrosive, blast, radiation for incarnOFF form and Corrosive, radiation, heat for incarnON.
Armour strip and direct damage that leads to whole room annihilation. Add in a way to inflict viral and goddamn. Angstrum has turned into one of my absolute favourite weapons!
You can buy the week 3 incarnons now at Cavalero. I just bought the Gorgon Incarnon to verify. I could still buy only 1.

@@noahedenborg4221 forced heat auto trigger , I’d say it’s a pretty good swap to Incas on since its main fire is buffed plus metamorphic magazine then into incarnon form is fun

Same reason why serration heavy caliber and acolyte arcanes do it
Their percentages add together before calculation so you get a diminish

they only buffed the ones that are available for Purchase$
while there are plenty of older incarnons that have glitches, or underperform.
While they buffed/fiixed this batch of weapons, none of them made it into the strongest group of incarnon weapons either.
No this is not about money(if so these purchasable weapons would also be among the best obviously), it's just how DE 'works'.
Either they fix something right away, or they don't fix it for years or ever.
There will always be DE 🥒 riders. One has already popped up.
They act as if DE is not out to make money. All the so-called "reasonable monetization" is not DE being fair, it's them realizing that they HAVE to be fair when your game is f2p and very average but the shills act as if it's the devs being kind 😂 what a load of crap.
The DE apologist already started defending ^^^ sure more would show up.
He said "it's not about money" when these incarnons are purchasable. 😂 This is how blind they are.

I also didn't say the purchasable weapons aren't about money, this line of buffs/fixes just aren't as they lifted none of the weapons to p2w or even top tier status.
Wondering how good it is for eidolon
Any projectile weapon is a straight no for eidolons it can work but the homing might not work on eidos

Ive loved my angstrum for years before incarnon, i quite literally feel naked in warframe without it

Don't have it, but I've read reviews on the forums and it's a big buff. Sadly the guaranteed bleed procs effect is buggy atm, so hopefully that'll be ironed out by the time it comes around again.
Got a Range/CD riven, ends up with 12.4 range. The guaranteed slash is silly and it kinda makes slide spam anku somewhat viable.
It’s actually really nice. I snagged a riven while they were cheap and the passive wasn’t really doing anything and managed to roll it to +slide attack crit, range, and initial combo count and it is NICE. Just weave in a slide attack every few seconds and you’re throwing out bleeds everywhere

What I love about these new Incarnons is that NONE of them are overpowered like Dual Toxocyst or Despair. They're just a nice boost which what Incarnons SHOULD be.

Idk, I kinda like the busted incarnon
I think it's all cool, even the sidegrade transformation on Felarx is kinda interesting, though a little underwhelming. I like that some of them just make the weapon a stronger version of itself with a few quirks, I like that some make it completely different, I think DE is kinda just doing whatever with them.
I'd like to see more gimmicks, though, a Sonicor that places Sonars, a Pox that puts spores on enemies etc., it could get pretty wacky,
