One theory about why this round of incarnon is so underwhelming is because these can be bought with platinum without having to wait 2 full rotation to get all of them, so all of them comes with some kind of caveat compared to the first 6 weeks selections like the Latron, Lex, Miter, Strun etc
which makes exactly 0 sense.
@@TwoSevenX wish so, but most others are game breakingly strong like Latron, Lex, Strun, Lato, Dread and more. Yet this round are either so mediocre or so bad you would be scratching your head why they made these so bad compared to the rest, while the incarnons are supposed to make old weapons good and worth using again
@@duongallen4094 Here's the thing. One person is not doing the incarnons. point of fact is these are being distributed amongst folks doing weapons.
The paid part has nothing to with the balance, because the paid part is going to rotate every week. DE has finally realized that duviri, like railjack is hilariously unpopular. Are they going to fix that? No, no they are not. What they are going to do is put everything on rotation so they can monetize your unwillingness to play duviri.
I recently got this and I got to say it's awesome!
On this Incarnon, I'd actually *really* recommend Deadhead
It seems to struggle vs tankier enemies, but when you slot in some headshot damage and aim for the head, I've found this gun can actually tear through even Steel Path super easily, genuinely one shotting regular enemies with a headshot and killing even Eximus units almost as fast
It also really helps in keeping the gun more stable, which mightn't matter hugely for mouse and keyboard, but is very nice on controller and for the general feel of the gun
I'd super recommend trying it out if you haven't already, it took me really by surprise, from thinking it was a fun but just okay-ish Incarnon, to now thinking it's genuinely one of the best pistols in the game thanks to the bouncy projectiles and high damage, with the fun factor just being even higher
I'm a big angstrum fan. Got a riven, life is good.
I'm coming back from a decent hiatus and this just doesn't seem worth it?
Kind of hilarious how people are up talking the lex and beamston compared to this when this outdamages both on ricochet provided you have a decent riven.
It has weirdly pathetic stats for an incarnon with low base damage and so-so crit, honestly it's just worse Toxocyst
Now if those other weps got a riven your setup would immediately crumble against them unless their riven only adds zoom and reduces recol
@@Hezkun The entire batch has trash stats, aside from synoid base damage. But that doesn't change the beamston being trash at protected targets despite doing red crits and lex being 1. slow as hell at TTK 2 actually being outdamaged by the magic mushroom kitgun.
A weapon that requires an op riven to perform well at higher levels isn't all that great . The other 2 incarnon weapons you mentioned are great either with or without rivens carrying them.
@@specturr Except they aren't. While the lex performs well in damage, TTK is another story and the beamston is absolute trash at damaging any type and I mean ANY type of protection or mitigation, and that's with free heat on incarnon. The lex is also outdamaged by the magic mushroom kitgun, still.
I've been breezing through regular steel path and the SP circuit while using those weapons without using any rivens . They have no issue deleting acolytes who have lots of damage mitigation. @@TwoSevenX
multishot riven plus mag magnetize B)
It doesn't even take long to activate its incarnon and still people complain 😒
Hey any update on the Wisp Prime giveaway? Was just curious.
Oh I forgot to Comment the winner :D
@@MCGamerCZ Who won?
Why do you have to do headshots to fill the incarnon mode?
Thats the mechanic
One thing I think is kinda disappointing is that, I actually always liked the Angstrum from the perspective of it being a very unique gun mechanically. It has a charge trigger, which builds up over time based on your magazine size, and shoots that many rockets directly out of your clip, effectively generating additional multishot, which means it inherently benefits modding for things like mag size and reload speed and fire rate in ways other guns simply don't. The big things that were holding it back were just, those supplementary stats not being very good at base, and its damage being rather low by modern metrics. So, you know, I hear that it's getting an incarnon form and I get kinda excited! Like, oh man, maybe it'll finally get buffed up to snuff with modern Warframe, that'd be nice.
Then its incarnon form is literally just a generic fully automatic explosive homing uzi or whatever. I mean it's cool, it's probably very strong and way way better in practice than the Angstrum ever was. But it's literally not the Angstrum. It's a different gun they stapled to the Angstrum to make people go 'hey look, they made the Angstrum good!'
That's kinda been my problem with Incarnon Genesis weapons in general for the most part. The idea of the gun switching functionality when you activate its incarnon mode is cool, but then because of how the system works, that becomes the mode you probably want to spend most of your time in, and now you're not... REALLY using the Lex, are you? You're using a Catchmoon kitgun. You're not REALLY using the Boar, you're using a fucked up Vermisplicer. I dunno. It started bugging me at some point and it hasn't stopped.
There are the stat increases if you want to use the base weapon
@@4g3nt06 I mean, you're not wrong, but the issue ends up being the stat increases are scaled around the incarnon form, which usually has better stats to begin with, so the numbers are a bit more tame than a gun like the Angstrum needs to be mathematically good.
Wow... You just broaden my horizon, sir.
...but all of the incarnon guns work like that, save for the boltor
@@theneef174 ... Exactly? That's the point of my comment. This is a problem I have with the whole system, made worse in cases where the original gun was memorable for base functionality which is lost in Incarnon mode, i.e. Angstrum's trigger mechanism.
Kinda looks underwhelming incarnon.. I mean, nobody picks up an explosive weapon as a secondary and then slap incarnon mode on it to turn it into a regular bullet hose. It's like taking bramma and turning it into paris.. I feel like this is one of those latron cases where the incarnon just is there for people who like it, but most of the hardcore users of the weapon are gonna get the adapter, get the bonuses and never use the incarnon form.
I think the idea is it turns out into a mini fire missile launcher. Dunno if making each pellet cause explosions would be good idea.
I think comparing Angstrums Incarnon form to the Paris is a bit off, mostly due to how its shots ricochet off the 1st enemy they hit towards another nearby enemy, so it feels more like a weak Kuva Nukor/Tenet Cycron.
@@shadowofaion7950lol you completely missed his point he's saying the incarnon is uninspired and removes weapon personality like turning the if you incarnoned the bramma into a paris not that the incarnon mode itself is like paris
@@cikembra2389 oh I see, well if that is the case isn't that just the point of Incarnons since the Zariman Incarnons? Having the base weapon change drastically into a new weapon form?
Not counting melee incarnons as they seem to just make bonk become stronger bonk.
@@Gunzerkingidiot zhuge prime is exactly what you described there. Mini missile launcher where each, well, bolt explodes. Tho in zhuges case the damage is not pure heat.
Why dont you use Galvanized Shot?
Guess he just didn't want to put another Forma into it or didnt think the extra damage would make much of difference.
because it's pointless and a waste of a slot. You use a riven or lethal torrent in that slot.

You know, I like your reviews, however your ending note... You're talking to someone who's had a Prisma Angstrum with 4 forma for years now, and just recently got a riven for it. I know my priorities.
okey am not usualy do this but FRIST!
Not what I expected but this looks fun and I want it. ..... I also want an incanon MIGHTY SEER
I doubt we'll see that considering it already has a Kuva version
