    How do you change an sensor in programming that says NC but is a motion so should be NO same for my Fire Alarm says NC in programming but need to change to NO?

    • @DIYELEKTRONICKITS
      @DIYELEKTRONICKITS  Год назад +1

      The NC is software generated, as long as you have the Group # correct you can wire your zones open or closed. The NC in programming has no significance in the wiring of the zone. Just be sure that the EOL resistor on a NO circuit is across the loop and an NC is wired in Parallel

    Do you happen to know the part number for the alpha programing keypad without the door cover ?
    Maybe I can fine it on Amazon. I know nobody makes these parts anymore.

  • @MiguelOMatic
    @MiguelOMatic Год назад +1

    Do the wireless sensor numbers have to start at 9 even if you don't have any wired sensors connected to the panel? I haven't been able to find that stated in the Concord Express documentation. Note that I'm interested in the Express not the 4.

    • @DIYELEKTRONICKITS
      @DIYELEKTRONICKITS  Год назад +1

      Yes they must start at 9, There are other panels that can use up the unused hardwire zones as wireless zones but not the Concord Series of panels

      I think if you have an end of line resistor on one of the 1-8s You can use a Wireless sensor on there.

    One of my sensors messed up. I want to replace it. How do I delete the broken/older sensor so I can install the new one?

    • @DIYELEKTRONICKITS
      @DIYELEKTRONICKITS  2 года назад +1

      Almost the same process to add 1,,,,go to the section where it says SENSORS the scroll up or down to DELETE SENSOR ,,,delte the bad sensor tnen * back to learn sensor and then learn in the new sensor

    Does the alphanumeric programming touchpad need to be connecting directly to the panel board via a special cable? or can it just be wired into the bus connection? thanks

    • @DIYELEKTRONICKITS
      @DIYELEKTRONICKITS  3 года назад +1

      It can be wired as a normal keypad.. but after you get done programming you will need to go into bus devices and delete it from the program or when you get done programming about 10 minutes after the panel will go into trouble looking for that keypad

    In the Group descriptions what does Restoral, Supervisory and CS Report....refer to? Thanks

    • @DIYELEKTRONICKITS
      @DIYELEKTRONICKITS  3 года назад

      The restoral is the report that will be sent by the alarm panel when the panel is reset from an alarm event or when the panel times out,,, usually, around 9-15 minutes after the alarm occurs.
      Supervisory is when a zone has a low battery,, the panel has low battery, basically sends a report when something is wrong with the system.
      CS is short for Central Station,,, is set in the panel if the panel is set to report a code to the Central Station if an alarm event occurs.

      You can expand it with hardwire zones only,,,, not wireless.
      24 zones wireless is MAX for a Concord Express
