  • Jason of Alarm System Store takes you through another DIY tutorial on how to enroll Interlogix wireless devices on the Interlogix NetworX series of alarm systems.
Interlogix NetworX panels can accommodate Interlogix wireless devices by adding the NX584E wireless receiver or a hardwired keypad with built-in wireless receiver such as the NX148ERF. The amount of wireless devices that a NetworX panel can handle very depending on model. The Interlogix wireless devices have a placement range of up to a 1000' radius out from the receiver.
The Interlogix NetworX panels are a line of alarm control panels that will give you the ability to wire in hardwired devices or use Interlogix wireless detection devices by adding the NX548E 48 zone wireless receiver.
The NetworX NX4 can handle up to 8 zones with 4 onboard and up to 8 user codes. The NetworX NX6 can handle up to 16 zones with 6 onboard and the rest can be had with zone expanders or wireless receivers. And finally, the NetworX NX8 can handle up to 48 zones with 8 onboard and more to be had by adding zone expanders or a wireless receiver.

If we have more than one panel, do we have to pair the sensor with the closet panel, or the main one?

That's a Concord 4 keypad, correct? Also - these are Z-wave devices you are adding? And finally, does the keypad act as a Z-wave repeater? Thanks for the great videos and pardon my confusion

The keypad is an NX148ERF and it's being used on a Interlogix NetworX panel. The keypad can talk with Interlogix wireless devices which are the devices being used here. They're not Z-Wave. The keypad has no Z-Wave controllers or repeaters in it. It only communicates on the Interlogix wireless frequency. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the info and your amazing channel. Do any of the newer keypads act as Z-Wave repeaters and does the keypad care if there are hybrid sensors (wired and wireless) and finally is there a keypad where the sensors can be defined and labeled easily - i.e. "Sensor 54" is irrelevant to me and with the NX148ERF I think renaming the sensors is a PIA - espeically if you have multiple keypads. Thanks again

Depending on the wireless receiver module the location code may be different! I have an NX-408 wireless receiver, which uses 49# to enroll new wireless sensors - not to be confused with the NX-408E that does indeed use 0# like the video. How to tell which one you have got if you just moved house and don't have a programming module? NFI >_

You can find a list of device addresses in the Interlogix installation manual. Device 0 is the main panel programming address.
