Hello, Very Nice video! Question: One of my smoke detectors has gone bad (it's a DSC4936). Can i just buy a new one and program it to replace my defective one? Thank you.
If you have access to the programming of your panel then yes. However, the WS sensors have all been discontinued so it might be difficult to find a replacement.
Hi Hayden, Is there any way to keep the Wireless Keypad "armed light" on when the keypad is in the dark mode so that a person can see that the system is armed when they go out a door?
How do i delete (disenroll) existing wireless smoke detectors from key pad? I am planning to upgrade to newer model wireless smoke detectors as existing ones were installed in 2007
Hello, my panic buttons aren't signaling my siren to turn on. Neither the fire, medic or panic button turns on the siren. They are all set to on. What am I missing?
Mostly what I use is DSC 832s in 1832s. Does this program very similar to it apparently they don’t make the 1832 any longer so I need to buy a neo panel for a system next week. Do you think I will have any trouble programming one of these opposed to the 1832. Thank you.
A DSC WS4936 is not compatible with the Neo. That smoke is for the prior generation of DCS wireless. The PG9936 is the correct one to use with Neo. www.alarmsystemstore.com/products/dsc-pg9936-powerg-wireless-smoke-and-heat-detector
Not certain, we rarely use DLS. I have used it for large systems though and I can tell you that it would take way longer to add a device or two only via DLS. We only ever used it for very big systems. I can hand program even a basic 8 zone system faster manually than I can DLS.
Well done man properly explained helped me a lot
Hi yes I need to open some zone that as be close on wireless panel or me to contact my external passive hard wire

No, there is no way to customize dark mode for what is visable. You'd have to press a key to "wake" it to see the state.

Great, now that I know how to add keypad #2. How to add wireless smoke detector #2?
Was the PG9862 Ceiling Motion Sensor a 915MHz PIR unit?
Same as the rest of the Power G sensors. It's a range though rather than a specific frequency.

Yes it is very similar. Most feel it's easier in fact because you can see more detail in programming.

how long will the batteries last for the smoke detector?
Sorry for the late response Danladi, but the batteries for the smokes typically last 3 years under normal use.
Can i add a wireless keypad using DLS5?

hi does this connect to a control panel? or keypad only
Does what connect?
@@andybowman9697 Does the keypad have to be wired to a board?
some are wired and some are wireless. Both are shown here, in fact the vid shows how to add the wireless one.
