To Factory reset you Impassa. - Power down the system. Disconnect the backup battery, then unplug the AC transformer. - Connect a jumper between inputs IO1 and IO2. - Plug in the AC transformer to power the system back on. Wait at least 10 full seconds. Then unplug the transformer to power the system back down. This should factory default the system. - Disconnect the jumper. Then reapply the AC power and reconnect the backup battery. - All done Keep in mind, this will only work if your panel isn't locked.
Sure, but what about when lockout is turned on (multiple clicks when powered up, as in the end of this video)? Has anyone figured out how to get around that? The information in this video is right in the manual and easy to read and understand. For example, Interlogix NX series can be backdoored even when locked out. Concord series (express and 4) the chip can be pulled and read, etc. Has anyone backdoored the NEO lockout feature yet?
Very clear and enunciated tutorial!
Thank you!
Does this also work on a DSC Impassa system?

There isn't a work around. If you don't have the installers code and the panel is locked. The panel will have to be replaced.
