Tree Laps on the 2024 Orca

- It's Wednesday February 21st, and I'm just out for some mellow laps in the woods. I finally decided to bring out the new 2024 model of the Orca, and it does not disappoint.
The snows a bit slow, but plenty fun for navigating some tight lines in the trees. Like I've said before, this board is my absolute favourite snowboard, and is perfect for this kind of terrain. The combination of a long floatatious nose and a slight rocker between the feet- creates an extremely nimble and pivotable ride that is able to turn on a dime.
This is the fourth Orca I've owned now, and it's always great to get out on a fresh one. I've paired it with my usual binding choice: The Now Drive, and am using K2's Evasion boots. This set up gives me a great range of versatility in riding style and ends up being perfect for Whistler BC.
Thanks so much for watching, don't forget to like and subscribe!
Cheer!

What El Niño?? Here’s Andrea’s ripping in pow through trees!
It’s been a challenging season, but when the opportunity presents itself- I know where to go to get the snow.
great shred brah. has lib made any changes to the orc over the past couple seasons?
Great video! What size Orca do you ride?
Did you ever experience a willow whipping your face when it’s nice and cold?
Is the orca starting to show some signs of developmental stalling? I have been looking online and im not vibing the latest iteration. Which is s shame, i still love my gen 1 orca…
It’s more popular than ever out here. It’s still my fav.
@@AndreasSchubertSnow thats interesting! Usually a good sign if a pow board is popular in the Canadian market. Im just not seeing much h of a change in profile and character. Last orca i rode while fun in the trees did seem fall a bit flat in the groomers.
