Part 2: ruclips.net/video/LIJVyH0LIZ8/видео.html 🥰 Addendum: I used 2 skeins for 2 hexagons. 1 skein for 1 hexagon that I started with white and the 2nd skein for the other hexagon that I also started with white so they look even colored (see part 1). The 3rd skein I used for the sleeves and to add length (see part 2) Happy birthday Mom 9/9. I made a video for you on my other channel Park Walker. Here is the video ruclips.net/video/m_EH-1ftdg8/видео.html 🎁🥳
Know what I love about your tutorials? You use regular yarn that I can find at my local craft stores. I also like the way you tell how many skeins of yarn you use and what hook as well. Most videos showing how to make larger items tend to skip over that part and make you guess how much yarn you will need. So glad I found your channel! It has quickly become my favorite on RUclips!
Such a beautiful amazing cardigan, unlike any others. Sylvia is so talented . I am attempting to make it and here are some things I have noticed. It was very helpful to turn the playback of this video to 0.75 to slow it down ( top right corner wheel). The written portion at tip if video is very helpful, but it is incomplete in some places , due to space allowance. So there are many places where " skipped stitches " are not included in the written portion.. But the video is great and covers all of these. Also the video only includes three sets of 4 rounds , but pattern calls for 5 or 6 od 4 rounds. Sylvia does do a screen shot of the the 4th set of rounds but does not do a video showing it. This may be challenging to do the additional 2 or 3 rounds of 4 without the video. Overall such a beautiful piece and so grateful Slyvia has taken the time to show us how to make this. Other pieces on her website are also very interesting and unique. Thank you.
tHi Cindy. the puff stitch is wavy because of the shell stitch that it forms. so I had to change the pattern to get a straight seem on the edges, but if you decide to change it let me know how you did🥰🥰🥰
The prettiest part is under the arms. Is there a way to use that same lacey stitch across the chest/front and middle back? Maybe around the lower half, too? I just feel like it would look more cohesive. Don't get me wrong, it is still a gorgeous cardigan/sweater/jacket regardless. Thank you so much for sharing this and your amazing talent. Be well and all the best to you.✌🏻💐🐾🧵🇺🇸
Hi Joy. Yes, I would think it’s possible, but tricky with the wavy pattern to make a back seem while at the same time leaving the front wavy. I leave the math up to you. Adding length is probably really pretty with the wave pattern. If you going for it let me know how it turned out. 🥰🥰🥰
@@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING123 I have been thinking about it and I think you are probably right. It would be difficult to get it to work. It is still pretty the way you do it so I would likely stick with what works. 😁 Thank you so much for answering my questions. You are very helpful and kind. Have a beautiful weekend. ✌🏻💟🫂
What size person does this one in your video fit please? It's lovely and I'm going to do myself one...but in a uk size 18 so I need to do some working out....thank you very much x
Your tutorials are great. I have just one problem, and it must be me because I'm not that experienced. In round 1 the first half of the row works out, but when I make the 2nd V-stitch my stitches don't work out. I end up having an extra space after the three sc, chain 3's. Can it be? I checked and double checked but I cannot get it right. Even checked to see if my previous rows are wrong, but they all work out. Please help me
Hello Sylvia, is the gauge swatch for this project available? I need to substitute yarns in order to use the yarn I have and I want to make a garment that fits me. Thank you for your beautiful work.
This is a really beautiful pattern and for the most part explained really well. I just feel you crochet very fast when explaining. So maybe try slowing down.
Round 3 does not state to add that extra ch after the closing ch at the corners and it doesn’t specify to put each dc in each stitch, reading it looks like all in same stitch. Just an observation
Hi Beaglemom8. I „streamlined“ the written instructions a bit to keep the text larger - it gets smaller the more I add. I hope the video makes everything more clear, and I’ll work on my written instructions to make them better. 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Susan. 5 or 6 motives should be good. If you want to add width to your jacket you can make rows on three sides (I’ll show you in part 2).if you have a jacket or cardigan that fits you nicely, you can use it as a template and put this jacket over it to see if you have to add more rows to the width or length.🥰

Bellissimo. Grazie!
Hi Emiliana. grazie mille per aver guardato i miei video e complimenti per il bellissimo paese d'Italia. 🥰
Is there a written pattern?
Sylvia, thank you for all of your beautiful tutorials❤
Could you keep doing the puff stitch pattern for the whole cardigan if so desired?
tHi Cindy. the puff stitch is wavy because of the shell stitch that it forms. so I had to change the pattern to get a straight seem on the edges, but if you decide to change it let me know how you did🥰🥰🥰
@@SYLVIAHappyhobbyCROCHETING123 ohhh ok. That makes sense. Thank you fir responding to my question!☺️
Selam sizi henüz yeni keşvettim bu hırka mükemmel şahana anlatmışsınız sonsuz teşekkür ederim ❤🎉❤
WOW....
I wonder what would happen if I did 3dctog instead of puffs? My fingers just struggle with puff stitches but they are sooooo pretty! 💗
Hi Beaglemom8. 3dctog or 2dctog (more narrow). I think that would work just fine. 🥰

sorry no, I just crochet this one jacket and it’s my own design🥰
Thank you for the kindness of a reply.
Can i use this to make child size?

You can always slow down the video in settings.
I am enjoying crocheting this, but when I lay it down, it's round. What am I doing wrong? 14:22
From corner to corner to make sleeve and body, what are the measurements of your hexagon?
🙏❤️❤️❤️🌷!!!
I need a 3xl
Hallo...kann ich größer machen?
Hi Cat. Yes, you can add more 4 round repeats and more rows for width and lengths.🥰
Merci😍
