    Can you clarify the discrepancy between the video and written instructions on your website? In the video you turn but the instructions say not to turn... I have two hexagons but I turned. Am I ok to continue?

    I bought the pattern for the Campfire Cardigan. I completed the 2 hexagons and stitched up the back. I'm kinda stuck now on stitching up the sleeves. How far from the elbow up the shoulder do you stitch them??

    I bought the camp fire PDF pattern but it doesn’t match up with your video. It has you start with ch 4 instead of a MC. Then it doesn’t tell you to turn after your ch 3. Is there a reason why they don’t match up?

    • @leahbogart6970
      @leahbogart6970 10 месяцев назад +1

      I’m now on my second hexagon cardigan. I joined a group on Facebook before tackling the project myself. From what I have read both are up to personal preference. Not sure why the video and written pattern wouldn’t match up though. I prefer to chain 4 verses using a magical circle. As far as turning to alternate right side and wrong side it is totally up to the look you are wanting to achieve. I turned with my first, and continued to do so with my second. I like that you can chain three to start on your first cluster. Instead of chaining four to start your first double crochet plus the chain one space. I hope some of that makes sense!

    Is it possible to make this cardigan using a size 3 worsted weight yarn instead of 4? And should I go up 1 or 2 hook sizes to compensate for the yarn weight difference?

  • @Rachel_lyn

    She is using Color Theory yarn from Lionbrand. So I think she’s using a 6mm hook for the body. And a 5.5mm hook for the trim.

    This is a bad tutorial. You never finished the piece. People, there are BETTER tutorials out there that show how to complete this jacket. Smh... you were doing well until the end. Also, you do not have to turn at every round. You can just slip into the next chain 3 space. I think it looks like a cleaner join. You crochet very well however, you need work on your tutorials.

    • @moniquep.341
      @moniquep.341 10 месяцев назад

      The turning is for when you want to add length and you want that to look the same as the rest of the cardigan. (Because when you add length you will go back and forward, which looks the same as when you turn after each round of the hexagon)
