Planning on buying one do you prefer it for outdoors rave/party and portability? I currently have boombox 2 and it is great but not that great for outdoors. Thanks
The soundboks 3 is a speaker i prefer to use outdoors because the bass is more clear and just the overall sound becomes much better. If you are used to the boombox 2 then I can say that outdoors the soundboks completely destroys the boombox with the loudness. So the soundboks is great for filling a big area outdoors with loud music. Also the bass is much more boomy and suits better to outdoor party compared to the bass on the boombox
Its a shame you can no longer control the volume of any microphone plugged into Ch1 or Ch2. The new app has changed the Mic volume control to an EQ system that has no effect on the volume. It means if you have the main volume at 11, the mic is too loud and you get massive feedback. Imagine spending 1000 dollars on a speaker that you cannot control the mic volume and have to purchase an external device to be able to use..... Also, the weakest part of th design is that battery plug port.I really would not recommend plugging / unplugging too many times. .. Nice Review 💢👀🎶
Thank you for your comment! When me and my cousin used a guitar with the soundboks the volume control worked just fine so I dont know anything about it being hard to controll the volume when you use a mic. If that is a problem then we can only hope that soundboks can fix the problem with a new update. I think that if you are careful when you unplug the battery then it should not be any problems.
What I mean is that when ever you dont use the soundboks you should unplug the battery from the soundboks and this also includes short periods like some hours.
@@thespeakerguys-testingspeakers Hmmm ... that sucks i would like to have it in the trunk of my car and play. I wouldn't want to pop the trunk everyday to turn it on ... first world problems lol
I can I've tried both the party box has better sound quality better bass is smoother and is a little more accurate both are horn speakers the party box is more bright but it does get significantly louder and and partybox 1k has to be plugged in soundboks doesn't
@@thespeakerguys-testingspeakers question. Have you ever listened to the jbl partybox 100 /310 /etc? They can move things în a car. The soundboks can't do that because at max it tries to become louder not bass heavy. The bass sound is a bit metalic at max and there is too much boost în the mid bass and 100hz area. Tested. Measured. I heard about a lot of problem with some sounds at maximum that were solved by some updates. And the woofers are really WEAK. Very small Magnets. If you want to get some real sound out of it and not think about blowing out the speakers I would tell you to replace the woofers with the xpl cx-10. Cheap for what they can do and huge Magnet. For the soundboks price They could have put some neodim Magnets to make it more powerfull and to add more bass,or change the bottom driver with a 10" subwoofer. I don't think you know how is a 10" subwoofer :). If you do it means that you are a bass head like me:). And the soundboks is made for a clean distortion free sound. Not for bass. It is really WEAK, and tuned higher so the port doesn't farth.
@@thespeakerguys-testingspeakers If you want to hear some good bass you can add a 8"/10" subwoofer and a 100W nobsound subwoofer amplifier. That's the setup for not overwhelming bass, and for some quality of sound. If you want, just get a 12" skar audio subwoofer and an amplifier from them. You Will see things moving around.
@@folteaiustin4969 On mid range volume the soundboks has more bass than most jbl speakers and it shakes my house like crazy. @@thespeakerguys-testingspeakers I can only agree, in my opinion the Sb is one of the best portable speakers, much better than a jbl or another speaker.. and the bass is still deep at maximum volume, especially when you are further away. Not sure if you have got your facts right. This speaker is the just about the loudest bluetooth speaker out there and maximum volume in a house on this speaker = much pain in your ears.

Does the soundboks 3 sound great when turned down to a lower level as well? As a not to wake all the neighbors level?😂

I have had one for 3 yrs. I love it and it's worth it.
how is your battery holding up after one year of usage?
Really good and now that I have used it for 3 and a half years I can't still notice any huge difference with the battery!
Hi! Is this speaker a good choice for guitar modelers??
Yeah this speaker works well with guitarrs and microphones. It also gets super loud and has a good battery life.
For a year worth of use a few videos of your experiences with the soundboxs would have been really cool.
Yes some videos of my daily use with the soundboks have been uploaded as short videos
Thanks for the review! You are great 😁
Thanks bro :)
The battery also damages when it’s plugged without using it, I have it replaced twice
Do you mean when not using the box I should unplug the cable from battery to box? Or do you mean when its plugged with the charger?
@@KingSezam you should unplug it when not using it for long periods of time
That battery discharge is probably a feature... you're not supposed to keep batteries charged when stored/not in use.
What I mean is that when ever you dont use the soundboks you should unplug the battery from the soundboks and this also includes short periods like some hours.
But if that style of battery is discharged for a long time it can die for good

No only off. You can only use the button on the soundboks to turn it on

Can you compare its sound with jbl partybox 1000
Probably later when we have more subscribers. Right now it is not worth for us to buy a new speaker that expensive.

How is the bass. Is it like jbl type. I don't think. It doesn't that deep bass and "loud" bass
The bass on the soundboks is probably the best bass that I have heard on a portable speaker. It is crazy loud on bass+ and can reach super deep
